GRUDGE MATCH
Shelton Benjamin defeated Zack Ryder:
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Gregory Helms & Paul Burchill w/Katie Lea: Paul Burchill said he would not be interviewed by a laughing stock. Burchill told Helms that he knows he is the Hurricane and he’s not an idiot. Helms said sometimes he has to call it like he sees it (what does that mean?). Burchill sucker-punched Helms and kicked his ass while Katie Lea cheered..
SQUASH MATCH
Vladimir Kozlov defeated Kevin Brooks: After the match, Ezekiel Jackson came down and planted Kevin Brooks with HIS finisher while Kozlov watched. Kozlov picked up the unconcious jobber and planted him once more with HIS finisher. Where have I seen that before? The crowd chanted “one more time” but that was not in the script so they couldn’t do it..
SINGLES MATCH
Yoshi Tatsu defeated Paul Burchill w/Katie Lea: The Bella Twins got to do the ring announcing duties for this match. They introduced Paul Burchill, who came out with his sister, Katie Lea. I would have liked to see Katie kick some sweet Bella arse. The match ended in a disqualification when Katie interfered on behalf of her brother. The Bella declared Yoshi Tatsu the winner! Burchill attacked Tatsu after the match until The Hurricane made the save!
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Tiffany & Paul Burchill & Katie Lea: Paul Burchill said if Tiffany wasn’t going to keep him safe from the Hurricane he would do something about it. Tiffany said she will talk to him but she won’t tolorate ultimatums.
SQUASH MATCH
Tyler Reks defeated Tom James:
ON STAGE (THE ABRAHAM WASHINGTON SHOW)
Abraham Washington + ECW champion Christian + William Regal: Abraham Washington came out and did his introduction as the screen flashed “APPLAUSE.” Then Washington told some jokes as the screen flashed “LAUGH.” Washinton wished Hulk Hogan a happy birthday and then introduced his guest, ECW champion Christian. Christian got a huge response from the Canadian crowd, who chanted his name loudly. Washington showed clips of the Extreme Rules match from last week and called it a tragedy. Washington asked Christian if he and Tommy were still friends. Christian said they were absolutely still friends, but Washington doubted it. Christian traded zingers with Washington, and told “Abe” not to say another bad thing about him OR Dreamer. Christian said he was ready to be the face of ECW. Washington introduced the number one contender to the ECW championship, William Regal! Regal said if Christian thinks what he did last week was extreme, then he hasn’t seen anything yet. Regal said if he didn’t believe him, just watch what he does to Tommy Dreamer NEXT.
SINGLES MATCH
William Regal defeated Tommy Dreamer: After the match, William Regal put Tommy Dreamer in the Regal-stretch to make a statement! ECW champion Christian ran down to make the save, and caused Regal to retreat confidently..
