Kofi Kingston defeated Shelton Benjamin: Kofi blocked Shelton’s vertical leap to the top rope, hit a flying cross-body, and then finished Benjamin off with a lethal high kick to the head! Shelton Benjamin was seething with frustration after the match.

Matt Striker + Mick Foley: Matt Striker introduced the newest member of the WWE SmackDown! broadcast team, the Hardcore Legend, Mick Foley! Striker said if Foley didn’t have to appear on television then he would be perfect for the job, but he has a face more suited for radio. Striker started pointing out Foley’s physical flaws but Foley fired back and said he likes the way he looks because the scars and the missing ear reminds him that he sacrificed a lot to entertain the fans. Foley said Striker has never sacrificed anything and has never entertained anyone. Striker insulted Foley’s sweat pants, so Foley pulled Mr. Socko out of his pants and distracted Striker long enough to shove Mr. Socko down his throat! Class dismissed, have a nice day!

C.M. Punk defeated Chuck Palumbo by Disqualification: Palumbo was too aggressive with Punk, showing no respect for Mr. Money in the Bank. Punk tried to get some shots in after the match but Palumbo left him laying in the ring.
RINGSIDE
Mike Adamle & Tazz: During the introductions of the main event, Mike Adamle suddenly got up from his seat without warning and walked out. Tazz, who had been taking subtle shots at him all night, tried to stop him but Adamle quietly disappeared from the scene. A few minutes later, Tazz’s voice also disappeared from the broadcast.

Chavo Guerrero & Bam Neely defeated ECW World Champion Kane: With no commentary, Bam Neely was responsible for most of the destruction of Kane.
