Beer Money are out to kickoff Lockdown in Six Sides of Steel. The crowd in London is going crazy for them.
Beer Money vs. Eric Young and Bram
Good, action-packed opener. Beer Money won with the DWI on Bram. There were some brutal moments, particularly with Storm bashing Bram’s head into the cage repeatedly. The crowd atmosphere helped a lot too.
Winner: Beer Money
We find out Madison has badly injured her knee. Will she be able to compete tonight?
EC3 comes out to the ring, sits on the steel steps and takes the mic. He says he’ll beat Matt tonight and his revenge. He challenges Matt to attempt to beat him on his own. He tells Spud to come out, which Spud does. He thanks Spud for helping out and praises his heart and courage. They shake hands in a show of respect. Spud trashes Matt for going mad with power over the last few weeks.
Matt, Reby and Tyrus come out. Matt orders Spud not to get involved tonight or Matt will destroy his career. Matt says he’ll crush Carter. Carter doesn’t seem worried.
Abyss and Crazzy Steve are backstage. We learn there’s a dangerous side to Rosemary.
Tigre Uno vs. Trevor Lee
Trevor won with a Fisherman’s Buster to retain the belt. The highlight was Uno doing a flying crossbody from the top of the cage onto Lee. Good match.
Winner: Trevor Lee
Maria trashes Gail. Gail wants to her to fight and prove her worth.
We see Rosemary backstage with Steve, Abyss and Rosemary’s mysterious ex-boyfriend. He hints at her dark side.
The Dollhouse vs. Team Gail Kim
The Dollhouse won when Jade hit the cradle piledriver with a chair on Gail. Maria was the final entrant. But she didn’t wrestle and just locked the door. Yeah, why did Gail and Velvet think they could trust her?
Winner: The Dollhouse
EC3 gets a pep talk from Angle. He tells EC3 he’s a great wrestler and can be the face of the company if he wants.
Angle comes out. Lashley confronts him about Angle taking the belt from him last year. He says he can’t forget it. He’s quite insulting and Angle seems annoyed. He offers to fight him right here and now. Lashley left instead. Lashley didn’t flat out turn heel but the seeds were planted.
Eli Drake comes out and complains about Grado’s Odarg disguise. Grado challenges him.
Odarg vs. Eli Drake
Odarg won when he stumbled out of the cage. Drake ripped off his mask so Odarg had to grab a towel and cover himself as he ran way.
Winner: Odarg
Odarg takes his case to Billy Corgan. Eli storms in with security and he’s removed.
Ethan Carter III vs. Matt Hardy
Matt retained by leaving the cage in a match filled over interference. EC3 survived it all, even a Twist of Fate on the chair. The Spud came out and slammed the door on Carter’s head, turning heel. Spud continued with the chair shots on Carter after the bell rang and verbally trashed him.
Winner: Matt Hardy
