Welcome to our WrestlingINC.com Live Impact Viewing Party. We will be providing live ongoing coverage of tonight’s show, while you all can chime in with your thoughts throughout the show.
The Pope and Josh Matthews give a recap of the World Title Series so far.
In a roundtable promo, Austin trashes EC3. Anderson says Lashley will do well because he’s a powerhouse. Lashley compliments Anderson too. EC3 is pretty heelish but somewhat praises everyone else’s talents.
Ken Anderson vs. Austin Aries
Thea Trinidad is out with Aries again. The two guys lock up. Aries gets a headlock into Anderson. Anderson shoves him off. Anderson hits the drop kick on Aries and goes for the pin but can barely get a one count from the ref. Anderson talks on the split-screen about travelling the road with Aries on the indies. Amusingly, Carter doesn’t seem to know what the indies even are, and Austin has to tell him. Anderson tries to charge but Austin gets out of the way and Anderson heads for the floor. Austin then goes for the dive but misses. Anderson goes after Austin’s arm in the ring. Aries tries a school boy but Anderson is able to get out of it. Anderson charges at Aries but Austin ducks and sends him into the ring post. Brawling in the corner. Double cross body takes out both men. Thea is attempting to get the crowd behind her boyfriend. We come back as Aries is charging but Anderson counters with the swinging neckbreaker. Aries is on the apron and fights with Anderson. Suicide dive from Aries. Then he hits with the missile dropkick. Austin tries to capitalize but Anderson hits the Finlay roll. Aries kicks out at 2 and a half. Anderson goes for the Mic Check but Aries escapes. 450 from Aries and Anderson kicks out at 2. These guys are running out of time, as Matthews reminds us. Anderson gets a Lambeau leap off the rope for the two count. Austin gets the brainbuster on the turnbuckle for the win. Three points for Austin, bringing him up to four. Anderson is apparently out of the series now. Good match.
Winner: Austin Aries
Hype promo for the Ultimate X match that took place at BFG.
Tigre Uno vs. Mandrews
Tigre tries to get the submission and attempts the bow and arrow but Mandrews fights out of it and gets in an ankle lock. Uno is able to roll out. Staredown then a lock up. A series of wastelocks and reverses gets a few two counts for both men. Uno gets in a headlock and Mandrews leapfrogs out of it and attacks with chops. Mandrews hits a running corner drop kick for the two. Tigre hits a gutwrench powerbomb and hits a legdrop off the top. Mandrews rolls outside to recover. Tigre hits the baseball slide and rolls him back into the ring for a pin but can only get the two. Tigre goes for the dropkick but Mandrews rolls away. Both guys are down. Mandrews goes for the shooting star press dive but misses. Tigre grabs hits waist and hits a suplex. Split legged moonsault and it is all over. Three points for the champ.
Winner: Tigre Uno
Clips from Bound for Glory’s Ethan Carter III vs. Drew Galloway vs. Matt Hardy main event play. It was a great match and, honestly, most people probably didn’t purchase the show or watch it when it was on, so this is a good way to ensure a wider audience sees it.
EC3 promo. He complains about the World Title Series. He says Dixie and the rest of his family aren’t in his corner. He vows to beat Lashley tonight, regardless.
TNA plays highlights of Jessie Godderz vs. Crimson. Godderz wins with the Adonis Crab and gets 3 points. Highlights of Eli Drake vs. Micah play. It ends on a draw, due to a double countout on the floor, and now each man is at 1 point.
We see a Godderz promo. He says his Adonis crab finisher is the most dangerous move in the game. He says he was the lead of the Bro Man team. He trashes Eli Drake and says all he is capable of is running his mouth. Godderz calls himself an Adonis and vows to be the next world champion.
DJZ vs. Manik
Manik won with the press and kick after Zema missed a Tornado DDT and now has three points in the world title series. OK match but there wasn’t much time for them to show off. Manik has a strange new costume and mask. Josh told us he was having an identity crisis or something.
Winner: Manik
Promo for Lashley vs Ethan Carter III airs.
Bobby Lashley vs. Ethan Carter III
Tyrus is out with Carter, per usual. Carter is trying to avoid Lashley practically before the match can even begin. Staredown between Tyrus and Lashley. Carter reluctantly gets back into the ring. Lock up in the corner but Carter is still trying to back off and get a time out from the referee. Carter keeps trying to avoid Lashley then hit him with cheap shots. Lashley gets fed up with all this and throws him into the corner. 10 count punch and the fans love it. Carter tries to fight back but Bobby throws him out of the ring. Commercial. We come back to see them fighting at ringside. Ethan sends him into the steps. Lashley gets up and hits a massive spinebuster on him on the floor. Ethan tosses him back into the ring before Tyrus attacks from nowhere and sends him flying into the ring pole. Carter gets out and throws Lashley back in the ring. Carter goes for the pin but gets a two. Carter continues to brutalize him with punches and kicks. He sends him out to the floor where Tyrus assaults him again, while Carter manages to distract Earl Hebner. Back in the ring, Carter goes for the suplex but Lashley counters. They lock up again before Lashley hits several German suplexes. Carter tries to rake the eyes to get out of it. Lashley slams him and hits the chinlock. Tyrus helps Ethan get out of it. Carter hits a Stinger Splash to Lashley. Lashley powers out and is going for the spear when Tyrus pulls him from the ring. Back in the ring, Lashley has Carter in the corner and his pummeling him. Tyrus brings in a chair. Ref tries to get it out and is distracted. Carter hits the low blow and One Percenter to pick up the win and gain 3 points.
Winner: Ethan Carter
