IN THE RING
TNA World Champion Samoa Joe: Samoa Joe cut an “open house” promo with all of the TNA wrestlers gathered around ringside. Joe offered the roster a “chance of a lifetime,” talking about the King of the Mountain match – where four guys challenge for the TNA World Heavyweight title. Joe said eight wrestlers would compete in qualifying matches, and he made a deal that Jim Cornette would pick the first four guys and he (Joe) would pick the final four guys. Joe announced that Cornette had chosen Robert Roode, James Storm, Tomko, and Matt Morgan. Joe said he wants tough competition and will be scouting people tonight. The heel Booker T came out and wanted to know why he wasn’t included in Cornette’s picks for the King of the Mountain. Booker T also wanted to know why Samoa Joe never talked to him since he came to TNA. Booker T said if Joe doesn’t pick him next week there will be consequences and repercussions. Joe said he didn’t give a damn about Booker’s consequences and repercussions, so Booker attacked Joe! Rhino and Christian Cage jumped in to help Joe, and Team 3-D pulled Booker out of the ring to safety. Booker T challenged Joe, Cage & Rhino to a match and he’ll find some partners tonight.

MYSERIOUS FOOTAGE
Abyss: Abyss was shown sitting on the floor of a padded room, wearing a straight jacket – explaining that they allowed him to have a camera in his room because of his good behavior (“but between you and me, I think I fooled them”). Abyss said he committed himself because he was an addict, a masochist, and his love for pain is unquenchable. No matter how much blood and torture, it was never enough. Abyss said the doctors told him that he’s almost cured and he can go home soon.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
“Lauren” & Samoa Joe & Kevin Nash: Lauren talked about the misunderstanding between Joe and Nash at Sacrifice. Nash said he thinks wrestling is 90% mental and 10% physical, whereas Joe believes it’s 90% physical and 10% mental. Nash said they are closer than ever coming out of Sacrifice. Lauren (idiot) asked Joe who he was going to pick for the King of the Mountain Qualifying tournament. Joe said that would come next week, and addressed Booker T – telling him to bring his goons tonight. Can you dig that, sucker?

Kurt said he was giving Karen the chance to come back to him where she belongs. Kurt said it was a matter of Karen getting her priorities straight. Could they REALLY be building for a Sting vs. Warrior match ????
