- Booker T rolled up Rob Van Dam for the 1-2-3 pinfall victory!
- Suddenly, former Smackdown! General Manager, and legal property of the RAW brand, Paul Heyman appears!
IN THE RING: Paul Heyman + Rob Van Dam + The Dudley Boyz..
- Paul Heyman says that with Kurt Angle in the hospital, Vince McMahon picked him to take over for one night..
- Paul Heyman says tonight marks the return of "Paul Heyman's Smackdown!" and tells RVD to stay in the ring..
- Paul Heyman says that RVD used to be "Mr. Monday Night", and now he's "Mr. Thursday Night"..
- Paul Heyman says that he is the reason there is wrestling on Television on Thursday night..
- Paul Heyman says he was General Manager until the locker room turned on him, but recognises the RVD wasn't there..
- Paul Heyman talks about Extreme Championship Wrestling and says RVD has disgraced ECW's legacy for years..
- The Dudley Boyz hit the ring next and says if Paul Heyman wants to talk about ECW, then say it to the Dudleyz!
- Bubba Dudleyz tells Paul Heyman to "be a man this time" and say it to their faces..
- Paul Heyman tells them that when he was GM, he never asked to have the Dudleyz & RVD traded to Smackdown!..
- Paul Heyman says that when Rob Van Dam & The Dudleyz signed with WWE, they became shells of their former selves..
- Paul Heyman says that Tazz had the good sense to get out of the ring before it was too late..
- Paul Heyman says that The Dudleyz & RVD are just Vince McMahon's domesticated pets..
- DVon suddenly turned around and attacked Rob Van Dam, then Bubba Ray joined in and kicked RVD in the ribs!
- Bubba held Rob Van Dam up while DVon kicked him straight between the legs!
- Paul Heyman says that it's a "really good start, but just a good start!"..
TAG TITLE MATCH: Scotty Too Hotty & Rikishi vs Charlie Haas & Mystery Partner (Rico w/Miss Jackie)..
- Charlie Haas wasn't even aware of who he was teaming with, until Rico was introduced as his partner!
- Rikishi was about to give Charlie Haas the stinkface, but Rico pulled him out and sat in the corner himself..
- Rico begged Rikishi to give him the stinkface, and then had a big smile on his face afterwards!
- Charlie Haas ended up rolling Scotty up from behind for the 1-2-3 to win the Tag Team titles!!!!!!
- Charlie Haas & Rico celebrated until Haas realized what he had gotten himself into and seemed unsure..
BACKSTAGE: John Bradshaw Layfield & Paul Heyman..
- Bradshaw says that it was a Paul Heyman speech that made him change his ways and be himself..
- Paul Heyman says he heard that El Gran Luchador (Mexican Heavyweight Champion) punked out Bradshaw at the airport..
- Bradshaw says that it's the post-911 era, and he couldn't get in a fight at the airport!
- Paul Heyman convinces Bradshaw to accept a match tonight with El Gran Luchador..
- Paul Heyman then puts Eddie Guerrero in a match against Bubba and/or DVon Dudley as well!
MATCH: John Layfield Bradshaw vs El Gran Luchadore (played by Paul London under a mask)..
- Bradshaw toyed with him for a bit, and then finished him off with a clothesline from hell!
CAFE DE RENE: Rene Dupree & Torrie Wilson + John Cena..
- Cage de Rene is Smackdown! version of RAW's Highlight Reel with Chris Jericho..
- Rene Dupree requests (no demands) a moment of silence for his great leader, Kurt Angle..
- Rene Dupree says he is doing Cafe de Rene to bring some class back to Smackdown! and the SD! fans..
- Rene Dupree introduces the first guest on Cafe de Rene -- Torrie Wilson -- and pours her a glass of wine..
- Rene Dupree asks why Torrie Wilson was laughing at Big Show last week..
- Torrie Wilson says she wasn't laughing at Big Show, and thought she was there to talk about the Divas Magazine..
- Rene Dupree says if it wasn't for Torrie, Kurt Angle wouldn't be in a hospital right now with a broken leg..
- Rene Dupree says Torrie represents all North American women, who rely on men for everything..
- Rene Dupree says that Fifi, isn't the only BITCH in the ring right now!
- Torrie slaps Rene Dupree accross the face, and he throws a glass of wine on her face!
- Rene Dupree picks Torrie Wilson up for a slam, but John Cena runs down to make the save!
HANDICAP MATCH: John Cena vs Chavo Guerrero & Chavo Guerrero Sr..
- John Cena was holding his own, until Rene Dupree came down and rammed Cena back-first into the ringpost!
- Chavo Guerrero hit a brain buster on John Cena and pinned him for the victory!
BACKSTAGE: Torrie Wilson & Paul Heyman..
- Paul Heyman says that what Rene Dupree did was reprehensible, and he won't tolorate it..
- Paul Heyman books Rene Dupre in a one-on-one match against Torrie Wilson next week!
IN THE RING: Booker T..
- Booker T says he's the biggest star on Smackdown!, and says the fans keep asking him "why?"..
- Booker T says he went from being a "star" on RAW to being a "megastar" on Smackdown!..
- Booker T says that soon he will be the most famous man in America!
- Suddenly the lights went out and a GONG played over the speaker, causing Booker T to bolt from the ring..
INTERVIEW: Josh Mathews & Rico & Charlie Haas & Miss Jackie..
- Rico says that winnning the WWE Tag Team titles was one of the greatest moments of his life!
- Charlie Haas gets pinched in the butt, and he assumes that it was Miss Jackie, but she says it wasn't her!
- Rico rubs Charlie Haas's championship belt and says it will be a fabulous relationship!
- Charlie Haas cringes..
MATCH: Eddie Guerrero vs DVon Dudley..
- Eddie Guerrero was led to believe that he was facing Bubba Dudley, but DVon attacked from behind!
- The referee counted both wrestlers out and called for the bell and ruled the match a DOUBLE COUNT OUT..
- Paul Heyman says that on HIS Smackdown!, there is a WINNER, and a LOSER, and orders the match to restart!
- Eddie Guerrero took a beating for a long time, but then made an impressive comeback and pulled Bubba into the ring!
- DVon recovered and pinned Eddie with a small package, while Bubba held DVon's leg at ringside!
- After the match, John Layfield attacked Eddie Guerrero from behind and gave him a huge powerbomb!
- John Layfield let Eddie Guerrero get to his feet, only to knock him back down with a clothesline from hell!
