Fresh off the heels of “Full Gear,” this week’s “Dynamite” has a new opening. Team Taz comes out and Taz says that Brian Cage is going to wrestle right now but he’s distracted right now because the “Face of the Network” is sitting in the balcony. Taz says the last time we saw Darby he was spalltered all over the hood of his own car. He warns him to stay put because if he tries to get in their faces tonight the same thing will happen. Taz says the same will happen to Cody if he sticks his nose in their business, too.
“The Machine” Brian Cage (10-1) w/Team Taz vs. “ReBOURNE” Matt Sydal (5-2)
Cage tries to Press Slam Sydal right out of the gate but Sydal escapes and hits an Enziguri followed by a dropkick in the corner. Cage gets back up and kills Sydal with a series of clotheslines in the corner. Cage hits a Belly-to-Belly Overhead Suplex and then hits a Hip Toss Backbreaker. Cage hits another Backbreaker for a nearfall. Cage whips Sydal into the corner but Sydal floats over Cage and then hits a dropkick only to eat a huge Lariat from Cage.
Cage does a bunch of curls with Sydal’s body before just dropping him over his head and getting another nearfall. Cage puts Sydal in a submission but Sydal fights it off and kicks Cage several times. Cage tosses Sydal into the corner and hits a series of strikes of his own. He goes for a German Suplex but Sydal lands on his feet. Sydal goes for a Hurricanrana but Cage blocks it and goes for a Powerbomb. Sydal counters the hold and tosses Cage into the ropes.
Cage goes for a Rana of his own but Sydal counters into a Powerbomb. Cage rolls onto the stage and Sydal hits a Diving Meteora off the top onto Cage on the ramp. Back in the ring, Cage blocks a kick from Sydal and then goes for another Powerbomb but Sydal counters into a Sunset Flip. Sydal hits a series of kicks and then a Spinning Neckbreaker for a nearfall. Sydal hits a Standing Moonsault for another nearfall.
Sydal hits a series of kicks again but Cage counters the last one into a Pump Handle Attempt only for Sydal to land on his feet and then duck a lariat and hits a Spinning Back Kick. Sydal hits a Roundhouse Kick and then sets up for a La Magistral only to eat a big Lariat. Cage goes for the Drillclaw but Sydal counters into a Hurricanrana for a close nearfall.
Sydal hits a Leaping Knee and then goes to the top and dives off right into a Drillclaw in midair! 1…2…3!
Winner: Cage via pinfall (Drillclaw)
Ricky Starks says that he and Cage gets things done and the next thing for them is the TNT Championship. Starks promises that “FTW presence” will be felt tonight.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Cody Rhodes comes out dressed in all white and he congratulates Darby Allin on winning at Full Gear. Rhodes says that he and Arn Anderson will not be seeking a rematch at this point. He says that there is another match, another loss on his record that he wants to be vindicated from. Cody wants a rematch with MJF. A woman appears in the ring and takes the microphone away from him.
She asks Cody why he’s lying to the audience and says that her name is Jade Cargill and that she is the “total package.” She says that she has been sitting on the sidelines studying her competition and studying Cody. She says that Cody called himself the “giant killer” but there is nothing giant about him. She says that she knows a real giant and slick statements like the one Cody made echoes loud enough to “wake him.” She says the next time he feels like opening his mouth he should keep that shit to himself. She tells him to watch his back because she is nothing to be played with. She mockingly congratulates Cody on getting his name back and then says the giant that she is talking about is Shaq before walking away.
Brandi comes out and runs Jade down and tells her to shut the hell up and calls her a “bitch.” Jade slaps Brandi’s ass and Jerry Lynn runs out to separate them. Cage appears behind Cody and Powerbombs him. Starks and Cage beat Cody down until Darby Allin runs out and makes the save. Darby hits a Coffin Drop on Starks and then Rhodes and Allin take turns laying Cage out.

Alex Marvez asks Jon Moxley about Omega winning a World Title shot and Moxley says that something occurred to him during his I Quit Match and that was that he couldn’t say “I Quit” even if wanted to. Moxley says when he came to AEW he really didn’t even think about the World Title, he just wanted to hurt people but he realizes now that the title represents every little kid that is a wrestling fan and every fan sitting at home not being able to make a paycheck right now. He says he can never quit.
Moxley says that he has danced with Omega before and he won. He says beating Kenny once is one thing but doing it twice takes someone special. Moxley says that he is the greatest wrestler on planet and if anyone can beat Omega twice it’s him. The title match is announced for Dec. 2 on Dynamite.
Bunkhouse Brawl
The Butcher & The Blade (11-6) w/Allie vs. The Natural Nightmares (8-2)
QT Marshall dives over the top onto Blade and the match is underway. A Bunkhouse Brawl is just a Street Fight. Dustin hits a Final Reckoning on Butcher onto a chair on the outside! Blade nails Marshall with a guitar but Dustin chases him with a bullrope. Dustin tries to shatter Blade’s dreams but eats a chair shot from Butcher. Marshall’s head is busted open. Allie handcuffs Dustin to the turnbuckle as Blade starts throwing a bunch of weapons into the ring.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
During the break Blade set up a ladder in the corner and then Butcher dropped Marshall onto it with Snake Eyes. Butcher beat Dustin and Marshall with a kendo stick, as well. Allie scratches at the cut on Marshall’s head and Dustin has finally escaped the handcuffs. He hits a Double Clothesline on Butcher and Blade before wacking them with the ladder.
Butcher hits the ladder with his chair knocking Rhodes to the floor and then starts whipping him with a belt. Dustin fights back with a kendo stick as they brawl up onto a scaffold. Marshall sprays a fire extinguisher into Butcher’s face and then Dustin Bulldogs Butcher off the scaffold through a stage that was set up next to it.
Blade is also busted open now. Marshall and Blade take turns punching each other in the face until Marshall hits a Flying Clothesline. Marshall slams a trashcan lid into Blade’s face and then sets a ladder up. Marshall dives off the ladder with a Flying Elbow Drop! 1…2…NO Blade kicked out! Butcher comes back down and hits a Sidewalk Slam on Marshall.
Dustin hits Blade with a Snap Powerslam and then hits the Code Red on Butcher. Blade hits Dustin with a chain and then they hit Full Death on Dustin onto some chairs for a nearfall until Marshall broke up the attempt. Butcher levels Marshall with a Lariat and then tries to hit with a chain, but Marshall ducks and wraps the chain around Butcher’s neck before hitting a Diamodn Cutter!
Blade kicks Marshall in the balls and then Allie holds Masrhall as Blade goes to hit him with the chair only for Marshall to escape. Blade stops himself from hitting Allie but Marshall hits a Roaring Elbow sending the chair into Blade’s face knocking him into Allie. Allie crashes through a table at ringside. Marshall hits the Diamond Cutter for the pin.
Winner: Natural Nightmares via pinfall (Diamond Cutter)
Matt Hardy talks from the Hardy Compound and says that Sammy Guevara had to be broken after what he did to him at All Out but says that Sammy can become a bigger star from here and not to squander the opportunity.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Chris Jericho comes out to induct MJF into the Inner Circle. Jericho says that tonight is a monumental night because two new members are being added to the Inner Circle for the first time. The other members of the Inner Circle come out but Sammy does not come with them. Jericho introduces MJF and Wardlow as the newest members of the Inner Circle and MJF fakes like he is going to cry saying that it has been a long, hard road to get to this point.
MJF says that when he first started wrestling his father gave him a “small loan” of $1 million and he made it work despite it being so hard. MJF mocks the fans and says that his ability to handle pressure has turned him into the diamond he is today. He starts to recite some poetry that he says his “homies” in PNP will love. He recites Drake lyrics and Ortiz calls him out.
Ortiz bitches about MJF joining the group but Jericho says that he made the stipulation and MJF beat him and they are going to become unstoppable with MJF and Wardlow. He tells Ortiz that they will make it work. MJF claims to not even know who Drake is before reciting another Drake lyric.
MJF says they are also here to celebrate Jericho’s birthday as balloons fall. MJF says he has a very urgent announcement and holds up tickets saying they are going to Vegas next week.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Highlights from FTR-Bucks from Saturday are shown. Marvez interviews the Bucks and Matt is still heavily limping. He asks them what is next but Nick says it’s hard to imagine what’s next after having the biggest moment of their career. Nick says he thinks the whole world wants to see a rematch eventually. Matt says they are looking for fresh opponents instead and says he found a pair of brothers on Instagram and they are going to give the tag team Top Flight an opportunity against them.
Shawn Spears (15-2) w/Tully Blanchard vs. Scorpio Sky (9-2)
Spears lays into Sky with a bunch of chops as bad weather knocks my satellite feed out. Sky counters a C4 attempt and then clotheslines him to the floor. Sky hits a Slingshot Plancha and then tosses him back into the ring. Sky hits a Slingshot Cutter for a nearfall.
Sky drags Spears out to the floor and tries to whip him into the ring steps but Spears reverse it only for Sky to leap over it. Spears then tries to dive off the steps but Sky intercepts him with a big right hand. Sky then dives off the steps right into a Superkick in midair! Spears then hits a Sidewalk Slam onto the steps.
In the ring, Spears goes for C4 again but Sky counters and takes Spears down into the Scorpio Death Lock. Spears manages to get to the ropes to break the hold as Tully plants something in the corner. Tully then gets on the apron to distract the referee and tosses another object to Sky. Spears loads the object up in his glove as Sky throws his away. Spears knocks Sky out with a loaded glove and gets the pin.
Winner: Spears via pinfall (loaded punch)
Backstage Dasha tried to interview Kenny Omega but he blew her off. Marvez catches up with Omega who is on the phone with someone. He asks Omega about the title match and Omega says that Moxley holds something that he needs. Omega says that holding that title belt is the key to taking back what Moxley took from him as the No. 1 guy in AEW. He says he’s heard the whispers from people asking where the “Best Bout Machine” is and he’s proven that he never left and he’s ready to reassume that role as the best wrestler in the world.
Omega says this will be their first match in a regular match, in a real wrestling match with real wrestling rules and asks what Moxley is going to do when he has to WRESTLE him. Their first match was a Lights Out Match that was not “sanctioned” by AEW.
Tay Conti (2-2) w/Anna Jay vs. Red Velvet (1-9) w/Brandi Rhodes
They mat wrestle early on but Velvet manages to catch Conti with a Leg Lariat for a nearfall. Conti pulls out some judo throws and then goes for a Round Kick but Velvet ducks only for Conti to come back with a Hook Kick for a nearfall.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Velvet avoids a charging Conti in the corner and connects with a series of clotheslines and a Running Back Elbow. Velvet hits a Wheelbarrow Bulldog and then a drop toe hold into the ropes. Conti hits Flying Knees to the back of Conti. Velvet hits a Flying Knee in the corner and then a Stunner for a nearfall.
Conti and Velvet go for Roundhouse Kicks at the same time and both connect. Anna Jay slides a chair to Conti but she kicks it away instead. Velvet then hits Conti with a Red Velvet and stacks her up for a nearfall. Velvet misses a kick and Conti hits a Pump Kick followed by a Gori Special into a GTS for the pin!
Winner: Conti via pinfall (GTS)
Marvez interviews Inner Circle backstage as Sammy Guevara shows up and says that he got an E-mail from MJF telling him to be at the beach for the ceremony. MJF swears he sent him another E-mail but Sammy gets pissed. Jericho says it’s fine because they’re going to Vegas. MJF says he really did send Sammy the E-mail and hands him a ticket to Vegas.
Footage of OC getting into with Kip Sabian backstage at Full Gear is shown. Sabian slaps OC but OC just walks away.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Eddie Kingston comes out and says that he has to live with saying he quit but he says he won’t stop and he will become World Champion. Kingston says that you will see two of the greatest luchadors ever next between Fenix and Penta.
Main Event
Penta el Cero Miedo (2-1) vs. Rey Fenix (5-2)
Penta and Fenix swing and miss at each other. Fenix rolls Penta up but then Penta hits a Superkick and a Leaping Enziguri. They clothesline each other and then Fenix hits a beautiful Victory Roll for a nearfall. Fenix shoves Penta into the corner but Penta leaps over his brother and rolls Fenix up for a nearfall of his own. Fenix hits a Spinning Headscissors that sends Penta out to the floor.
Fenix sets up for a dive but Penta climbs back in the ring and backdrops Fenix to the floor. Penta goes for his own dive but Fenix rolls into the ring and connects with a dropkick. Fenix goes for another Spinning Headscissors but Penta blocks Fenix in an absolutely ridiculous Negro Navarro type submission in midair. Penta starts ripping Fenix’s mask and then biting him.
Penta whips Fenix into the ropes and destroys him with a Superkick and then starts biting Fenix’s mask before putting him in a Sleeper.
Fenix fights the hold but Penta starts kicking at his legs. Fenix rolls to the floor and Penta follows him and the two exchange stiff chops. Penta throws Fenix into the barricade before rolling him back into the ring where he hits a Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker. Penta chokes his brother in the ropes and taunts him by ripping at the mask again.
Fenix tries to fight his brother off but Penta goes for the Fear Factor only for Fenix to counter with an armdrag for a nearfall. Fenix kicks Penta and then connects with a Spinning Back Kick in the corner. Fenix charges at Penta into the corner but Penta tosses him over the top. Fenix lands on his feet and then hits an insane Double Spring Rana on Penta for a nearfall. Fenix hits a Back Handspring Cutter for another nearfall.
Fenix starts ripping Penta’s mask now and then starts punching at Penta’s head. They hold each other by the mask and punch and headbutte each other. Fenix knees Penta and rolls right into a Flipping Reverse DDT in an absolutely ridiculous spot! 1…2…NO Fenix kicks out!
Penta goes for the Reverse DDT again but Fenix counters with a Headscissors that sends Penta to the floor. Fenix hits as Tornillo over the top onto Penta on the floor and then tosses Penta back in the ring. Fenix hits a Double Spring Senton Atomico for a nearfall.
Fenix picks Penta up but Penta blocks it and drags him to the apron. Penta goes for the Fear Factor but Fenix pushes him away only to eat a Superkick. Penta hits the Fear Factor onto the apron! Penta hits a Mexican Destroyer off the apron onto Fenix on the floor! Penta rolls Fenix back in the ring and instead of pinning him taunts him and then hits another Fear Factor for the pin!
Winner: Penta via pinfall (Fear Factor)
Kinston says what we just saw is two of the best wrestlers on the planet and also his best friend show Fenix who the boss is. Kingston then kicks Fenix out of the ring and tells Penta that he doesn’t need the dead weight of Fenix. PAC’s music hits and the Bastard has returned!
PAC comes out and says that the Bastard is back and Kingston has made a very, very big mistake. PAC tries to go after Kingston but a ton of referee’s and agents separate them.
