Dynamite opens up with a special tribute to the protests going around the country right now. After running down the card for tonight, we head to the ring for the first match.
AEW World Tag Team Championships
Kenny Omega & Adam Page (6-0) (c) vs. Jimmy Havoc & Kip Sabian (3-1) w/Penelope Ford
Havoc and Omega kick things off with some mat wrestling until Havoc and Sabian get the advantage in their corner. Sabian tags in and lays Omega out with a Running Back Elbow for a nearfall. Havoc and Sabian wear Omega down in their corner for several minutes, but Omega manages to catch Havoc with a Suplex and make the hot tag to page as FTR is shown watching.
Page hits a Running Clothesline on Havoc and knocks Sabian off the apron. Page and Omega take the advantage utilizing double team moves and quick tags. Omega and Page take turns chopping Havoc and then they catch a springboard Sabian and toss him across the ring together. Ford climbs up top and dives onto Page but Page catches her and drops her.
The referee kicks Ford out from ringside. As the referee is dealing with Ford, Havoc hits both Page and Omega with a wrench and covers Page for a nearfall. Sabian hits Page with an Enziguri from the apron and then tags himself in and puts the boots to Page in the ropes.
Sabian dropkicks Page to the floor where Havoc slams him into the ring post and rolls him back in the ring for Sabian to get a series of nearfalls. Havoc tags in and starts gauging at the eyes of Page. Sabian dropkicks Omega off the apron and then kicks Page in the face as Havoc held him down.
Page tries to fight back on both guys but the heels cut him off and whip him into the corner. Havoc charges into an elbow from Page and then Sabian dives into a boot. Page rolls to his corner and makes the hot tag. Omega hits a series of Polish Hammers on the heels and catches Sabian with a DVD attempt but Sabian blocks it.
Sabian hits a Pump Kick on Omega and charges at him but Omega flips over and connects with a Rana to both Sabian and Havoc. Omega hangs Sabian up in the corner and then hits a Rolling Samoan Drop on Havoc right into a Hanging Backstabber on Sabian in the corner for a nearfall.
Page tags back in and the champs hit a series of kicks capped off by a Mafia Kick from Page and then a Running Leg Lariat from Omega and a Standing Shooting Star Press from Page for a nearfall on Sabian. Havoc tries to hit Page with the wrench again but Page lays him out and hits Sabian with a Fall Away Slam. Page hits a Plancha on Havoc on the floor and then rolls back into the ring and connects with a Lariat on Sabian for another nearfall before Havoc broke it up.
Page tosses Havoc back to the floor and tags Omega. Omega goes for a V-Trigger but Sabian moves and Havoc tosses Page into the barricade on the outside. Sabian hits a Swinging DDT on Omega and tags Havoc. Havoc hits a DVD onto Page in the corner and tags Sabian as he climbs to the top. Sabian hits a Ghetto Stomp on Omega and Havoc hits a Fisherman’s Buster as he tags himself in. 1…2…NO Page breaks it up!
Sabian hits Omega with an Enziguri and then kicks Page on the outside before hitting a Springboard Missile Dropkick on Omega in the ring followed by a Reverse Rana! Havoc goes for a Suplex but Omega blocks it and hits a Snap Dragon on Havoc and then a V-Trigger on Sabian!
Page tags in and hits a Running Clothesline on both heels in the corner followed by a Roaring Elbow on Havoc followed by an Assisted German Suplex. Hangman hits a Pop-Up Powerbomb on Sabian followed by a V-Trigger from Omega. The champs hit the Last Call on Havoc for the pin!
Winners & STILL Tag Champs: Page & Omega via pinfall (Last Call)
Footage of Tully Blanchard’s unbelievable promo that was shown on social media airs. Earlier today, Blanchard gets into an SVU with Spears and shows him a box and says the missing piece for Spears is there. It’s a “black glove,” signifying that Spears is going to wear the “black glove” like the Blackjacks, Barry Windham, Ted DiBiase, etc. in the past.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
“The Machine” Brian Cage w/Taz vs. Shaun Dean
Cage immedaitley attacks Dean and hits him with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex. Cage hits a T-Bone Suplex and then a Superplex from the top. Cage hits a Buckle Bomb followed by the Drillclaw for the pin.
Winner: Cage via pinfall (Drillclaw)
Taz grabs a microphone and says that Jon Moxely had the audacity to giggle at him when he was speaking to him last week. Taz says that they don’t play games and this is not a joke to them. He says that Moxley better get his head on right or Cage is going to take it off.
Moxley comes out but Taz stops him before getting in the ring and tells him to think and be careful before he steps in. Moxley shrugs Taz off and gets in the ring. He says the reason he was smiling last week and why he’s smiling right now is the thought of stepping in the ring with Brian Cage and going to war with him makes him happy.
Moxley says that’s why he’s in this business but stepping in the ring with him with his title on the line is the farthest thing from a game. Moxley looks over Cage and says he is impressive and says that Mox is no machine and he is only human and can be beat but it will take all night long to get it accomplished. Moxley says taking the AEW Title away from him is a different prospect from anything Cage has faced.
Moxley says Cage is in over his head and he will realize that he is swimming with a different breed of shark at Fyter Fest. Moxley says next time they want to name drop him on TV they better remember who exactly they are talking about.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Earlier today Lance Archer is approached in some vacant lot somewhere, by Alex Marvez, beating up a luchador. Archer says that no one is going to stop him and he isn’t here to be a spot monkey, he’s here to be a monster. Archer says he will kill everyone in his way.
Footage of the knee injury Marq Quen suffered last week is shown. Earlier today, Private Party is talking about what happened last week when Matt Hardy approaches them wearing his Hardy Boyz gear. Quen shows his knee is fine. Hardy says he enjoyed their match last week and he calls them the future of tag team wrestling. He says their bond reminds him of the bond he and Jeff have. He says a lot of guys helped them when they were young and he is willing and ready to help them with anything they need, whether it be advice or anything. Isiah Kassidy suggests they team up and call it Party Hardy.
Hardy leaves and walks into Sammy Guevara on his knee scooter. Hardy says that they are cool and walks away to Guevara’s confusion.

Fyter Fest is announced as a two-night event July 1 and 8 on TNT with every championship on the line.
Footage of the Tyson-Jericho brawl from last week is shown. Tyson says this isn’t over and he is coming back to kick Tyson’s ass. Last week, Jericho is shown getting mad at Colt Cabana for “getting in his way” during the Tyson brawl.
Colt “Boom Boom” Cabana (5-3) vs. “Le Champion” Chris Jericho (5-3) w/The Inner Circle
Guevara sings Jericho’s theme as he makes his entrance. Jericho shoves Cabana and eats a series of rights from the former Second City Saint. Jericho responds with a series of strikes of his own to back Cabana into a corner.
Cabana fights back and tosses Jericho out to the floor. Cabana hits an Asai Moonsault onto both Jericho and Jake Hager on the outside. Looks like Cabana’s lip is busted. As Jericho distracts the referee, Hager slams Cabana into the ring post.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Jericho chokes Cabana in the corner and then connects with a Running Back Elbow. Jericho attempts a Running Bulldog but Cabana hangs up in the corner to counter. Cabana and Jericho exchange rights and Cabana connects with a clothesline. Cabana connects with a series of jabs capped off with a Bionic Elbow.
Cabana hits the Flying Apple in the corner and then climbs to the top and dives off with a Splash for a nearfall. Jericho comes back with an elbow and then attempts a Lionsault but Cabana gets his knees up and then goes for the Superman, but Jericho counters into the Walls of Jericho! Cabana fights it off and eventually gets to the ropes to break the hold.
Cabana catches Jericho with a Spinning Headscissors and then lifts Jericho up to the top rope and hits a Frankensteiner for a nearfall. Cabana catches Jericho with a rollup for another nearfall. Cabana hits the ropes but runs right into the Judas Effect for the pin.
Winner: Jericho via pinfall (Judas Effect)
Jericho says the same thing that just happened to Cabana is going to happen to “that piece of shit” Mike Tyson. Jericho challenges Tyson to face him and says he is going to shove Tyson’s head up his own ass. Jericho says he wants Tyson right here and right now and calls him out to face him right now.
Orange Cassidy comes out as Jericho says he wants to face “the baddest man on the planet.” OC grabs Jericho’s hands and puts them in his own pocket and then Hager goes after him but OC avoids them and retreats to the crowd with Best Friends.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
A vignette of Britt Baker “rehabbing” her knee is shown, from her wheelchair. She uses combat ropes and lifts weights, all from her wheelchair. She is shown struggling to wheel herself up a ramp until Tony Schiavone appears and urges her on. This was priceless.
Big Swole (3-2) vs. “The Native Beast” Nyla Rose (5-2)
Swole tries to mat wrestle Rose early but Rose uses her strength to take her down. Swole catches Rose in an Abdominal Stretch but Rose counters into a Hip Toss. Rose charges at Swole but Swole drops down causing Rose to fly through the ropes to the floor. Swole tries to Punt Kick Rose from the apron but Rose catches her foot and slams her into the apron.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Rose goes for a Splash but Swole gets her knees up. Swole goes for a Roundhouse Kick but Rose ducks only to eat a headbutt from Swole. Swole hits a Springboard Cutter for a nearfall. Swole goes for a Pump Kick but Rose moves only for Swole to come right back with another Pump Kick for a nearfall.
Swole goes for the Cutter again but Rose counters into a Reverse Suplex attempt. Swole blocks it and clips Rose’s knee before hitting a Hook Kick. Swole hits the ropes but eats a big Spear from Rose. Rose follows up with the Beast Bomb attempt but Swole counters into a Sunset Flip for a nearfall.
Swole hits a Roundhouse Kick and attempts Dirty Dancing but Rose counters into a Sky High for the pin.
Winner: Rose via pinfall (Sky High)
Big Swole is interviewed by Tony Schiavone at ringside but Britt Baker taunts her causing Swole to grab a chair and chase her as Rebel drives her off in her golf cart.
Earlier today, Schiavone interviewed Darby Allin. Schiavone says that AEW’s doctor has not cleared him to wrestle tonight and he asks Allin if the issues with Cage were due to what happened with Taz. Allin just says he will get the last laugh on Cage.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Tony Schiavone sits down with FTR and asks them what their name means. Dax says it’s a way of life for them, it’s not just a name or a tag line. Cash says it’s whatever they want to mean. He says they are a part of the “revolution” right now so right now it means “For The Revolution.”
FTR talks about all of the tag teams in AEW and say that the tag champs aren’t even a real team. They call the match with The Bucks a dream match that everyone wants but they don’t think it’s a dream match. Cash says they don’t want to have the best match with them, they just want to punch them in the mouth and beat them in three seconds.
Cash says that they saved The Bucks because they want The Bucks to be 100% when they beat them, they don’t want them to have any excuse for why FTR beat them. Schiavone says he always thought FTR meant “F*ck the Revival” and they all laugh and then Butcher and Blade show up. They try to go after FTR but security separates them. They will face each other next week.
Alex Marvez interviews Colt Cabana backstage and he says that he’s in AEW to show he can hang with the big dogs. Cabana says the big victories are what has evaded him so far when Brodie Lee approaches him. Lee says that without loss you don’t grow and he says it is what he does after a loss that matters. Lee says he can help Cabana with how he responds to a loss.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
AEW TNT Championship
“American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes (c) (10-1) w/Arn Anderson vs. Jungle Boy (1-2)
Cody immediately takes the boy from the jungle down with a Front Facelock but he gets to the ropes quickly to break the hold. Cody hits a Side Headlock Takeover but Jungle Boy rolls him over into a one-count. Cody hangs on to the headlock but Jungle Boy fights up to his feet and shoves him into the ropes.
Jungle Boy leapfrogs Cody and then catches him with a beautiful Rana followed by a rollup for a nearfall. Jungle Boy and Cody exchange forearms and chops until Cody lays him out with a big right hand. Cody leapfrogs Jungle Boy and then catches a diving Jungle Boy with a Powerslam for a nearfall.
Cody puts Jungle Boy in a Figure Four but he gets to the ropes to break the hold. Cody attempts a Disaster Kick but Jungle Boy ducks and then hits a Springboard Tornado DDT for a nearfall. Cody rolls to the floor but Jungle Boy catches him with a Tope Suicida followed by a second one, but Cody catches him and tosses him into the crowd were Billy and Austin Gunn were standing.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Cody tries to headbutt Jungle Boy on the outside but he moves and Cody headbutts the wall. MJF taunts Jungle Boy on the outside and Jungle Boy gets in his face. Cody’s head is busted wide open. Jungle Boy tosses Cody in the ring and Jungle Boy jumps on him and starts punching at Cody’s cut.
Cody tosses Jungle Boy away but Jungle Boy comes back with a Shotgun Dropkick and a series of rollups for nearfalls. Cody comes back with a Pump Kick but the blood in his eyes prevents him from finding Jungle Boy’s body to get the pin attempt. Finally, Cody lifts him up and tosses him into the ropes only for Cody to rebound off with a big Lariat for a nearfall.
Jungle Boy traps Cody’s arms and starts punching him in the forehead again. Jungle Boy climbs up top but eats a dropkick from Cody. Cody climbs up with Jungle Boy and hits a Delayed Superplex! 1…2…NO Jungle Boy kicks out! Cody takes off his weight belt but tosses it to the side instead of hitting Jungle Boy with it.
Cody goes for another Figure Four but Jungle Boy kicks him off. Cody climbs up top but Jungle Boy cuts him off and climbs up with Cody. They punch at each other and eventually both men fall off the top and crash through a table at ringside.
Cody drags Jungle Boy back into the ring and then attempts a Sunset Flip but Jungle Boy sits down on him for a nearfall. Jungle Boy goes for a Lariat but Cody counters into a CrossRhodes for the pin.
Winner & STILL TNT Champ: Cody via pinfall (CrossRhodes)
Cody’s boys and the Jurassic Express all come out. Cody helps Jungle Boy up and they hug as pyro goes off.
