Commentary welcomes us to the show before we kick off the action with Hangman Adam Page’s music playing…but it’s all a ruse as MJF is making his way out to the ring instead! After MJF arrives to the ring, Hangman Adam Page actually heads down the ramp to a big pop from the crowd before this match gets underway!

“Hangman” Adam Page vs. MJF

Making a note here that the TrillerTV feed has cut out a couple times, if there is a break in the recap you’ll know why! That tech issue aside, these two go at it from the opening bell, before Page sends Max to the corner to drive his boot into the face. MJF manages to fight back, dropping Page to the mat before playing to the crowd from the turnbuckle. He goes after the face of the Hangman now, bringing him to his feet only to drop him back down…but an angry Page gets to his feet, going for a sleeper hold on Friedman. Max fights back, dropping Adam to the mat for a nearfall before going for a choke until the ref intervenes.

Page back to his feet as he goes back after MJF, who catches him with a powerbomb backbreaker combo for a close nearfall. MJF hits the ropes for speed before, uh, front bumping Page in the face. He mocks the Hangman as a short cut in the feed takes us to Page getting back to his feet, laying into MJF with some right hands before Friedman takes him to the mat. He continues to mock the Hangman, who responds with a fall away slam sending MJF to the canvas. Both men are down, but Page kips up as MJF slowly gets to his feet. Page fights back, eventually sending Friedman off the apron to the outside for a dive!

Page goes back to work on MJF before climbing the turnbuckle for a big moonsault, taking Max back to the floor. He then brings him back into the ring, looking for a Buckshot Lariat…but MJF retreats to the corner. Page charges at him in the corner, but MJF strikes back with a water wheel slam and a DDT for the two count. MJF looks for a vertical suplex but Page counters into a small package, leading to both men trading pin attempts. MJF counters out of one Dead Eye attempt, but Page catches him the second time around…but it’s only good for a two count before MJF kicks out!

Page back to his feet as is MJF, who looks for a Heatseeker…only for Page to lay him out with a Buckshot Lariat! Cover by Page…and MJF gets his foot on the rope to break the pin! Page brings MJF back to his feet, laying into him with a right hand and a lariat before going to the apron for another Buckshot…but MJF escapes to the outside. Page leaves the ring to pursue him, bringing MJF back into the ring…but MJF catches him with the Salt of the Earth! The armbar is locked in tight as Page reaches for the ropes, only for MJF to bring him back to the center. Page gets to a vertical base as he struggles to fight back, before MJF rolls through to cinch the hold even deeper in the middle of the ring.

Page crawls toward the ropes, finally reaching the bottom rope with his leg to force the break as we see how much damage has been done. MJF leaves the ring, stealing the headset from Schiavone to tell everyone he’s the f’ing man around here (clearly taking a cue from his old mentor Cody in the process) before going back after Page. He goes for a moonsault off the barricade, but Page counters as he looks for a tombstone piledriver…only for MJF to counter for a running tombstone of his own, sending Page onto a chair!

With the Hangman down, MJF heads back to the ring before the ref begins the count. Doc Sampson checks on Page as the count reaches six…seven…eight…nine…and Page gets up, leaping into the ring just in the nick of time! MJF looks distraught at this, yelling “WHY NOT ME” as he runs down Page some more. He sets the Hangman up for the Heatseeker…only for Page to counter for a Dead Eye!

Page brings MJF to his feet, setting him up for the Angel’s Wings on behalf of his buddy Christopher Daniels as he drives Friedman down to the canvas. He heads back to the apron as MJF struggles back to his feet…and right into a final Buckshot Lariat by the Hangman for the pin and the win!

Winner via pinfall: “Hangman” Adam Page

Page’s “celebration” comprises of staring MJF down as his hand is raised, before heading back up the ramp and to the back.

Video Package: Momo Watanabe has called her shot, looking to stop Mercedes Moné and take the TBS Championship here at AEW Revolution!

Another short cut in the TrillerTV feed, but we’re quickly back to ringside for our next match as Momo Watanabe heads down the ramp to a nice reaction from the crowd. Mercedes Moné heads to the ring next, all four titles being shown off as the champ enters to get this match underway!

AEW TBS Championship Match: Mercedes Moné defends against Momo Watanabe

Mercedes takes the challenger to the corner, mocking her before Momo goes back on the attack. The champ quickly goes on the offensive once again, but Watanabe counters out before hitting the ropes. Moné does her little dance without noticing Momo behind her, and the challenger makes her pay sending her to the mat before mocking the champ. This riles Mercedes up as she gets a headlock on the challenger, before hitting the ropes for a shoulder tackle sending her to the canvas.

Momo fights back to go to the ropes, but the champ catches her with a one count. Momo back to her feet, crossface chicken wing locked in on the champ until Mercedes fights back for a headscissors to sneak a nearfall. The challenger responds with a kick to the face for a cover, but Moné kicks out at two. Momo goes for a running Meteora, but the champ has it scouted and goes for a crossface before the challenger gets the rope for the break.

Moné gets back up, catching Momo with a Meteora of her own on the apron before setting up for a piledriver. The two women fight it out on the hardest part of the ring…until the champ sends Watanabe to the floor with a powerbomb! She smiles and poses on the apron as Momo is still down, only for the champ to bring her back to the ring for a cover and the two count. Mercedes goes back to work, setting up for a nearfall before we get a look at Billie Starkz watching on. Back in the ring, Momo fights to her feet to break out of the hold, eventually dropping Moné to the mat for a close nearfall!

The champ retreats to the corner as Momo charges toward her…only for Moné to fight back, going for the Three Amigos. Momo turns this around on Mercedes, hitting a solid vertical suplex in the process. Mercedes fights out of this, but is set up in the tree of woe by the challenger…who lays in some hard kicks to the midsection of the champ! Mercedes drops to the canvas as Watanabe backs off.

Moné gets to her feet and manages to send Momo to the corner, but Momo turns it back around sending the champ away before hitting a big dropkick not once but twice. Cover by Momo, but Mercedes manages to kick out at two. Momo mocks the CEO’s dance before laying in some more kicks on the champ, who tries to fight back for a nearfall…but Watanabe catches her with another crossface chickenwing! Moné is struggling to break the hold, managing to roll through to get a nearfall that forces the break.

The champ gets a chinlock to wear Momo down, but the challenger manages to fight back eventually sending Mercedes to the corner. Watanabe catches her with a Meteora on the apron, but it’s only good for a two count. Champ is sent to the corner once more as Momo charges at her, but Moné rolls through for a Statement Maker! The crossface locked in even tighter this time as Watanabe struggles toward the ropes. Mercedes rolls through to bring her back to center, but Momo counters into a crossface chickenwing…only for Mercedes to fight out for a powerbomb! Cover by the champ, but Momo kicks out!

Momo is stil hurt as Mercedes heads up top, seemingly for a frog splash…but Momo is back up and intercepts the champ on the turnbuckle! Avalanche uranage off the top rope, and the cover…but Mercedes kicks out to save her title reign!

Momo with a Release the Peach Suplex on the champ, but it’s still only good for a nearfall. Momo looking for a Peach Sunrise, but has to settle for a hard kick to the face of the champ instead. She does this two more times, laying out Moné in the process as Momo heads to the corner for a roundhouse kick. Cover by the challenger, but Mercedes narrowly gets her shoulder up in the nick of time. Watanabe goes up top for a double stomp, but Mercedes evades before hitting a cross body for a two count.

Moné back up now, setting Momo up for the Money Maker followed by the Statement Maker, forcing the challenger to tap out for the win to retain!

Winner via submission and still TBS Champion: Mercedes Moné

We get some replays leading to the finish after seeing Billie continue to watch on, before the champ celebrates up on the stage.

Video Package: The feud between Ricochet and Swerve Strickland comes to a head tonight, as Strickland looks to get back the Embassy robe and become the #1 Contender for the AEW World Title by beating Ricochet at Revolution!

We head back to ringside as Ricochet comes out first for this match, revealing the modifications made to the robe he stole. This gets some big heat from the crowd as he enters the ring, before a drummer I’m not familiar with kinda overdoes it on the fills as Swerve Strickland makes his entrance next. That extra drumming finally comes to an end as Swerve enters the ring, and I can rest a little easier as this match gets underway!

AEW World Championship No. 1 Contenders Match: Ricochet vs. Swerve Strickland (w/ Prince Nana)

The two immediately go at it, with Swerve getting the upper hand early…until Ricochet escapes the ring for a breather. He goes on the attack when returning to the ring, only for Swerve to catch him with a backbreaker and a nearfall. Ricochet to the corner before Strickland continues to beat up on him, hitting the griddy for good measure.

Ricochet strikes back, sending Swerve down hard to the mat when he notices Nana looking at the robe. He tries to prod the Prince into getting the robe, but this gives Strickland an opening to fight back as he sends Ricochet over the top and to the outside. Swerve goes on the offense, laying into Ricochet against the barricade. Nana starts to intervene, as if trying to remind Swerve to win this match inside the ring…and an irate Swerve shoves him away, only to quickly show remorse as Nana is angry enough to make his way up the ramp!

This gives Ricochet an opening as he lays in a kick off the barricade, bringing Swerve into the ring for a nearfall as we see Nana on the stage and seemingly making his exit after what Strickland did to him. Ricochet hits a cutter on Strickland, and his attitude has riled up some fans in the front row including Leslie Jones. This only pleases Ricochet as he cinches in a rear chinlock on Strickland, who fights to his feet before taking Ricochet down to the mat with a big dropkick. Both men are back up now, with Swerve countering out of a cutter to hit a brainbuster on Ricochet for a nearfall. Leslie is seemingly beside herself at this as we get a look at the comedienne, but Ricochet manages to fight back to get to the corner.

Swerve intercepts him on the turnbuckle as the two fight it out, before Ricochet catches Swerve with a kick. He counters a strike by Swerve for a nearfall, but Strickland fights back for a pair of nearfalls of his own including one off a powerslam. The action makes its way to the apron now, with Swerve catching Ricochet with a roundhouse kick…only for Ricochet to drop him onto the hardest part of the ring with a reverse rana! The ref tells Ricochet to bring things back in the ring and Ricochet seemingly obliges…or maybe not brother, because he pulls Swerve back out of the ring and throws him onto the Spanish announce table!

He sets Strickland up but Swerve fights back…eventually dropping him onto the announce table with a vertebreaker! Ricochet IS the table, and he is also hurt as we get a replay. Swerve brings him back into the ring before climbing up for the Swerve Stomp and the cover…but Ricochet narrowly kicks out!

Ricochet starts to sit up as Swerve heads to the corner, only for Ricochet to drop down again. It turns out to be a ruse as Ricochet tries to go for a low blow, but it gets blocked by Strickland! Ricochet catches him with a brainbuster instead, climbing up top for a massive 630 senton and the cover…but this time it’s Swerve Strickland who kicks out! The crowd cheers as we see Prince Nana rushing through to ringside, grabbing the robe while Swerve rolls up Ricochet for a nearfall.

Ricochet gets the drop on Nana, taking the robe back as Strickland tries to dive onto him…only for Ricochet to hit a Death Valley Driver to send him to the floor! All the stars are here as Ricochet argues with Ken Jeong before sending Swerve back in the ring. He only gets a nearfall as Nana pulls the robe off him…and this allows Strickland to get a nearfall of his own. Nana is in the corner and gets squashed when Ricochet sends Strickland into him, before rolling him up and grabbing the tights….but Swerve kicks out again!

Swerve hits not one but two House Call kicks on Ricochet, followed by the Big Pressure to pick up the win and claim the #1 Contender spot!

Winner via pinfall: Swerve Strickland

The fans are thrilled at this as Swerve and Nana celebrate, complete with Strickland presenting the Prince with his Embassy robe.

Video Package: A short but sweet build here as Brody King challenges Kazuchika Okada for the AEW Continental Championship here at Revolution!

Back at ringside, Brody King makes his way to the ring for our next match, with the champion Okada coming out next before this match gets underway!

AEW Continental Championship Match: Kazuchika Okada defends against Brody King

Okada gets the upper hand early, sending King to the corner…but the challenger forces him to take a breather on the outside, where Brody gets to show off his power at the expense of the Rainmaker. He sends Okada to the barricade, but the champ evades a running charge before sending Brody to the ring steps. He brings the challenger back into the ring, hitting some strikes in the corner. King starts fighting back with some forearms and chops, forcing the champ to the opposite corner…but Okada fights back for a big scoop slam.

He favors his back from the size of his opponent before heading up top for an elbow drop, but King intercepts him for a big superplex forcing both men to the mat. They eventually get back as Brody goes back on the offensive, landing some hard strikes on the champ who takes a breather on the outside…only to be dropped to the floor by a Brody King elbow dive! Okada has seemingly had enough as he goes for his title, but King stops him before propping the champ up for a running cross body against the barricade!

He brings Okada back into the ring for a senton and the nearfall. Okada back to his feet for some strikes, and both men trade offense before King hits the ropes for a big lariat! The champ counters a powerbomb for a neckbreaker to get back into the match, before heading up top for the elbow drop. He gives a one-finger salute to the crowd, and pays for this with a Death Valley Driver by Brody that sends the champ into the corner. King with a cannonball to get the cover, but Okada manages to kick out.

The action makes its way to the apron where Okada counters with a back body drop, sending King onto the hardest part of the ring before going back on the attack to bring his challenger back into the ring itself. Okada grabs a chair, and the ref pulls this away from him…which gives him the opening to hit Brody with the title instead! Cover by Okada…and Brody kicks out at two! The champ looks surprised but gets back to work with a Rainmaker lariat…only for Brody to fight back, sending Kazuchika into the corner in the process.

He goes for another cannonball, but Okada is on his feet and hits a dropkick. He follows up with a Rainmaker lariat, and that does the trick as he picks up the win to retain!

Winner via pinfall and still AEW Continental Championship: Kazuchika Okada

Video Package: The Outrunners picking up a win over the Murder Machines starts their path to the AEW World Tag Team Championship, but the “Youngest Men Alive” may be in for a world of hurt as they face the Hurt Syndicate for the titles at Revolution!

Back at ringside, The Outrunners make their way down the ramp for our next match. This is quickly followed by the Hurt Syndicate before this tag title match gets underway!

AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin) vs. The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd)

We start off with Shelton and Magnum, the two trading holds before Benjamin gets one over on the Truth…who gets the tag to Floyd. He goes after Shelton and even sends him to the outside, but the celebration is cut short by Lashley…only to be sent to the outside! MVP meets up with his boys to rally them back into this, and the champs slide back in to go after their challengers. Magnum faces the wrath of Benjamin before Lashley tags in, laying in a beatdown Magnum culminating in a swinging neckbreaker.

Floyd gets thrown around as well as I’ve slightly lost track of who’s legal while the action spills to the outside, but it becomes more clear now as Magnum is sent back int he ring for some more beating from Shelton followed by a tag to Lashley. Bobby drops Truth down hard with a powerslam, but he manages to narrowly kick out. Bobby sends him to the corner for a tag to Shelton…but Magnum fights back with a bulldog!

Hot tag to Turbo Floyd, who lays in some right hands on Benjamin sending him to the corner. Scoop slam by Floyd as Magnum drops Lashley off the apron. The boys drop a double bicep elbow drop on Benjamin for a cover, before Bobby breaks the pin. He sends Magnum to the outside, but Truth fights back sending him to the steps as back in the ring, Floyd absorbs some right hands by Benjamin. He’s revving up that engine and ready to roll, landing some strikes to send Shelton to the corner…but Benjamin fights back! Fight ends up in the corner now as Turbo goes Old School for an arm drag off the ropes…but Benjamin drops him down for a nearfall instead! Lashley in the ring, laying out Magnum as Benjamin sets Floyd up for a big spear from Bobby to pick up the win and retain the titles.

Winner via pinfall and still AEW World Tag Team Champions: Hurt Syndicate

We see Action Andretti and Lio Rush with a smile on their faces as they watch the champs celebrate their win.

Video Package: The feud between Toni Storm and Mariah May has all come down to this, the “Hollywood Ending” where anything goes and falls count anywhere!

Back at ringside, we see a funeral-style setup on stage as Mariah May makes her way out first ahead of our next match. She leaves some flowers at a picture of her taking out Toni before the champ makes her way out next…only to be blindsided by May to get this Hollywood Ending underway!

AEW Women’s World Championship Match: “The Hollywood Ending” – Falls Count Anywhere: “Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Mariah May

The Hollywood “sign” turns out to be a a table that May sets up, before she lays into the Timeless One some more. She drops Storm to the stage for a nearfall, before revealing a taser…only for Luther to take the weapon away from the challenger! She responds with a dropkick that sends the butler over another table off the side of the stage, allowing Mariah to focus her attention back on the champ…who catches her for a powerbomb off the stage and through a production table! Storm eventually gets a cover, but May manages to kick out.

Storm has a look of cruel intentions as she pulls May toward ringside, only for Mariah to fight back before being sent herself into the barricade by the champ. Storm sets her challenger up on the barricade, but May dodges a running hip attack before pulling Toni into the ring steps with a Storm Zero! With the champ still down, Mariah pulls out a chain from under the ring. We soon see the effects of that piledriver as Toni is busted open, pleasing the challenger as she brings Storm back into the ring. She sets the champ up in the tree of woe, propping a chair she retrieved up against Toni before hitting a low dropkick.

The champ now sports a crimson mask as she starts fighting back, reaching under the ring for more “props” in the form of a champagne bucket with a broken glass bottle and a big roll of tape. Another bucket has been brought out as we soon realize this has become what some fans will know as a Taipei Death Match…as champ and challenger tape up a fist each, putting glass on it to trade the most dangerous of strikes on each other!

Storm gets the advantage here as grabs the bottleneck to attack her challenger…who hits her right between the legs with another broken bottle! Things have really gotten out of hand here as the action heads to the corner, where May catches Toni with a hurricanrana that sends the champ onto a pile of the (presumably real) broken glass! Mariah hits a Mayday on Toni, but it’s only good for a two count as the champ gets a shoulder up.

Mariah is nearly beside herself, and this allows the champ to catch her with a Storm Zero of her own for a nearfall…before heading to ringside for a shoe. She still remembers the attack Mariah did all those months ago as she chases after the challenger, who has tried to retreat up the ramp…only for Toni to intercept her on the stage. May manages to evade a shoe attack, hitting the Mayday on Storm for another nearfall as she too is now sporting a veil of blood upon her face. May brings the champ back to her feet as she grabs the shoe…which comes back to bite her as Toni lays into her with repeated shots to the head before hitting Storm Zero to drive the challenger through the table for the pin and the win!

Winner via pinfall and still AEW World Women’s Champion: “Timeless” Toni Storm

Storm’s costars and the director of Queen of the Ring are seen giving a standing ovation for the champ, who is laid out over her challenger…and the Hollywood Ending lives up to its name as we get a shot of the screens reading “The End” before one last shot of the beaten and bloodied competitors.

Video Package: Kenny Omega’s return to AEW has put him on a collision course with the Don Callis Family as he faces Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW International Championship tonight at Revolution!

Back at ringside, Kenny Omega makes his way out for our next match to a big pop from the crowd. Don Callis accompanies Konosuke Takeshita to the ring, heading to commentary while the champ enters the ring to get this match underway!

AEW International Championship Match: Konosuke Takeshita vs. Kenny Omega

After a slow start the two men lock up as the LA crowd let Don Callis know how they feel about him. Takeshita lays in some hard strikes on Omega, but the challenger responds in kind leading to an exchange that ends with a shoulder tackle by the champ sending Kenny down hard. Omega fights back once more, charging into the champ who takes a breather on the outside…but not for long, as Omega hits a dive onto the Alpha!

Omega continues the attack before Takeshita turns it around, sending the Best Bout Machine into the barricade before bringing him back into the ring. Cover by Konosuke gets a two count. Kenny heads to the ropes but is intercepted by Takeshita, who attacks him before the ref intervenes. Omega is dropped with a DDT as Konosuke gets a nearfall, before sending him to the outside near the announce table. Takeshita distracts the ref while Callis goes on the attack, only for Omega to fight back and this hurts Don’s hand while Takeshita brings the challenger back in the ring for a chinlock.

Kenny fights back to his feet, trading strikes with Takeshita before heading to the ropes to send the champ face first into the turnbuckle. The champ fights back, catching Omega with a knee to abdomen for a nearfall. He sends Kenny to the corner, driving his shoulder into the midsection of the challenger before Omega fights back…only to be sent back to the corner, where Konosuke pulls him in for a big slam onto the mat.

Takeshita leaves the ring, pulling a table out from underneath the apron as the ref tries to intervene. He goes back after Omega, but the challenger fights back to drop Takeshita to the apron before taking a breather on the floor. He brings the champ back to his feet, hoisting him up for a rolling slam before going onto the barricade…but the Alpha drops him off, sending him into the front row!

Doc Sampson checks on Omega as Takeshita gets back in the ring while the ref begins the count. He’s at six, seven, and eight when Omega makes it back in the ring…only for Takeshita to drop him for a nearfall. He follows with a brainbuster for a two count. Body scissors by the champ as Omega tries to fight out, crawling toward the ropes before getting to his feet…and boxes the champ’s ears to break the hold!

He evades Takeshita in the corner, taking him down to the canvas before getting to his feet. Konosuke and Kenny trade strikes, with Omega hitting a moonsault from the corner for a two count before the champ kicks out. Takeshita hits the ropes, but is caught with a hurricanrana by the challenger that forces him to take a break on the outside. Omega looking for a dive but Callis grabs him by the boot, distracting him long enough for the champ to run back in for a clothesline forcing him out to the floor. He follows up with a German suplex that sends Kenny down hard to the floor, as the ref shouts at the champ to bring this back into the ring.

Konosuke looks for a vertical suplex but is fended off by Kenny, who gets a bit of boos from the crowd for knocking over the table as he’s focused on trying to win the match. This gives the champ an opening to hoist up Omega, landing a vertical suplex that drops him on the flip side of the table against the metal railing! He’s not done, however, as he sets the table up on its side before lifting Kenny up and dropping him on the edge for even more damage.

He brings Kenny back into the ring for a nearfall, continuing the attack until the ref intervenes to check on the challenger. Takeshita looks for a senton but Omega gets his knees up, only for the champ to head to the turnbuckle…but Kenny rolls out of the way just in time to avoid disaster! The ref begins a standing ten count as both men struggle to get back to a vertical base. Standing up, they begin trading strikes. Omega is sent to the corner as the champ lands some hard elbows before hitting the ropes…where the challenger catches him with a snap dragon suplex! Takeshita fights back with a punch before going to the ropes, only to take a big strike by Omega! He hits the ropes for a knee strike and the cover, but the champ kicks out to save his title reign.

Omega goes to the ropes once more, but the Alpha catches him by surprise for a big Blue Thunder Bomb that gets him a nearfall. He sends Kenny to the corner for a running kick, and then props him up on the top turnbuckle before Omega fights back. Konosuke responds with a big lariat, forcing the challenger off the turnbuckle and down to the floor. As the Alpha looks to follow up, he gets taken to the canvas with a springboard powerbomb by the challenger to turn things around! Takeshita heads to the ropes and this leads to a V-Trigger by Omega, who struggles and finds himself unable to follow with a One Winged Angel.

The champ tries to hit one of his own, before settling for a tombstone piledriver…only to get back up, still holding onto Omega for a modified version of the same move. Cover by the champ, but Omega kicks out! Takeshita hits a Power Drive Knee but only gets a nearfall…and a second Power Drive Knee leads to Omega kicking out at one!

This gets the crowd going as Omega starts fighting back despite some strikes from the champ, blocking a vertical suplex attempt…only to take a big forearm to the face. Omega evades Raging Fire for a V-Trigger, taking the champ down for the cover…but it’s only good for a two count as Takeshita kicks out!

Omega back to his feet as the champ gets to his knees, and Kenny hits a big kick on the Alpha. Another big kick lands flush, sending the champ to the mat. He sets the champ up before looking for one more kick…and Takeshita blocks it for a few strikes of his own, only for Kenny to take him back down. Kenny hits the V-Trigger on the Alpha, as Callis tries to help his man out to no avail.

Kenny counters out of a Raging Fire to roll the champ up, to which the champ goes for one of his own before Kenny manages to get the leverage he needs to get the win and the title!

Winner via pinfall and new AEW International Champion: Kenny Omega

Callis is incensed as he asks Konosuke what happened, walking alongside his man up the ramp as Omega remains in the ring. The crowd chants his name as the new champ rises to his feet, his hand raised in victory after a big title win.

Video Package: Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher were good friends, but they may make for better enemies as they clash in a Steel Cage Match tonight at Revolution!

Back at ringside, the steel cage has been lowered as Kyle Fletcher is accompanied on his way to the ring for our next match. Callis returns to commentary as Fletcher opts to enter the cage by climbing up the side. We then get what seems to be a new theme for Will Ospreay, the intro of which reminds us that he is “on another level.” It then becomes apparent that this merely the way of ushering in his entrance, a Wrestle Kingdom style entrance if you will as Ospreay’s usual music hits to a big pop from the crowd as Ospreay heads down the ramp. He climbs up the opposite side of the cage, staring down his former best friend at the top as his music fades out. Ospreay makes his way down to get into the ring, as does Fletcher so this steel cage match can get underway!

Steel Cage Match: Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher

They charge at each other for a set of strikes before trading shoulder tackles off the ropes. They then trade off trying to hit the other against the cage wall. Ospreay in the corner as he realizes he can’t springboard off due to the wall, and this gives Fletcher an opening to strike…only to be pushed against the wall by Ospreay. Will goes to the ropes and hurts his ankle, giving Fletcher a chance to drop him with a clothesline.

Fletcher continues the attack until Ospreay strikes back, hitting Kyle with a Stundog Millionaire before the Protostar sends him face first into the cage wall. Ospreay is struggling here as Kyle plays to the crowd, and we get visual confirmation that Will is busted open as Fletcher continues to beat him down. He rubs Ospreay’s face against the cage and Will drops to the mat, as Kyle mocks the crowd by licking Ospreay’s blood off the cage (yeah, I know…). He goes back on the attack now, laying in strikes on Ospreay before sending him to the corner…only for the Aerial Assassin to leap off to take him down!

Now it’s Ospreay on the offensive, slamming Kyle repeatedly into the cage before hitting a Skytwister Press for a nearfall. He brings Fletcher up to his feet for some more strikes, sporting a crimson mask as he drops Kyle to the mat. He brings his former best friend back up and props him against the cage wall for some chops, eventually forcing the Protostar to fall back to the canvas while Ospreay sets up for a Hidden Blade…only for Fletcher to catch him with a boot! Down goes Ospreay as Fletcher struggles back to his feet, removing a turnbuckle pad in the corner before looking to send Will into it. Ospreay fights back, but is met with a running boot by Fletcher who sets him up on the turnbuckle…only to be dropped for some Cheeky Nando’s by Ospreay, who then sends him back into the cage wall!

He eventually brings Fletcher back up to his feet for some kicks, followed by a big scoop slam before climbing the turnbuckle. Kyle intercepts, dropping Ospreay as he lands his little Aerial Assassins on the top rope. This gives Fletcher an opening, but not for long as Ospreay fights him on the turnbuckle…slamming him against the cage wall to drop him to the canvas! Cancun Tornado by Ospreay for the cover, but Fletcher manages to kick out!

Ospreay is firing up once more as he goes after Fletcher, but Kyle hangs him up by his little Ospreays once more on the top rope with a dropkick this time, with a powerbomb leading to a close nearfall for the Protostar. Fletcher is struggling here as he gets Ospreay up enough for some kicks to the face…but Will, uh, wills himself back into this match as he gets to his feet, striking back with some kicks of his own! They trade strikes and counter each other, back and forth they go until Fletcher drops Ospreay for a two count.

We see Mark Davis making his way down the ramp with a bag full of tools, revealing a bolt cutter as he removes the lock from the cage door. We soon realize the intention behind this as he pulls out a steel chair to slide into the cage, which Fletcher grabs before Ospreay fights back. He argues with Mark who steps up to him…only to get a cage door to the face, forcing him down to the floor!

Ospreay turns his attention to the bag of tools, revealing a barbed wire bat that he uses on the Protostar. Ospreay lets out a “Bang Bang” as a shout out to a certain Jack of the cactus variety before threatening Fletcher with the bat. Fletcher begs him off, showing the United Empire gesture hoping for mercy…and Ospreay shows him none as he flips his former friend off! This is met with a low blow by the Protostar, who goes after Ospreay before grabbing the bat to take a swing…only for Will to dodge it for a Hidden Blade! Storm Zero and the cover…but Mark Davis breaks the pin, and there are no DQs in this steel cage match!

Davis lands some strikes on Ospreay as Kyle yells that Will wanted this before Aussie Open look to take him out…but Ospreay fights out, landing a Hidden Blade on Davis in the process! Davis is taken out of the cage as Ospreay climbs the cage wall before hitting an Oscutter on Fletcher, but the Protostar kicks out at two. Will wraps up his arm in barbed wire as Fletcher tries to escape…or maybe not brother, as he reveals a screwdriver hidden within the top tress! He lands a shot on the head of Ospreay to drop him to the mat, with Fletcher continuing to beat the Aerial Assassin down before setting up a chair for a nasty brainbuster. Cover by Fletcher…and Ospreay narrowly kicks out before three!

Fletcher grabs a bag to dump out a pile of thumbtacks before hitting some kicks on Ospreay…who responds with a Styles Clash that sends the Protostar right onto the tacks! Cover by Ospreay, but this time it’s Fletcher who kicks out! He gets out of a Storm Zero attempt to grab another screwdriver up top, but this time Ospreay intercepts. They go at it until Ospreay slams Kyle in the face with the screwdriver…before dropping the Protostar down to the mat with a massive Spanish Fly!

Ospreay slowly rises to his feet in the corner as Fletcher yells out obscenities at him…only to take a big Hidden Blade from Ospreay, who follows up with the Tiger Driver ’91 to put his former best friend away for the victory!

Winner via pinfall: Will Ospreay

Ospreay is barely standing as he stares Fletcher down, the crowd chanting his name as he takes his leave while Fletcher is attended to inside the ring while we get replays of what went down. Ospreay continues to celebrate on the stage to the roar of the crowd.

Presumably to give a break as the crew changes things out after that brutal match, we go to Tony Schiavone at ringside where he talks to the director and two of the stars of Queen of the Ring, where they talk about the film and the importance of women’s wrestling.

Video Package: COPE looks to finish what he started over the past few weeks, as he challenges Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship at AEW Revolution!

We head back to ringside for our main event, as COPE makes his way down the ramp while the fans sing along to his theme. He enters the ring as the fans continue in acapella, finally finishing up just as the music of the champion hits. Mox is all alone as he walks through a less-occupied part of the arena to head to ringside. Upon his arrival to the ring, we get introductions for the challenger and the champion before this main event gets underway!

AEW World Championship Match: Jon Moxley defends against COPE

The two men stare each other down before Mox flips off the challenger. This leads to the two trading strikes back and forth. COPE is dropped to a knee but responds in kind, and the two are fighting it out until the challenger is dropped to the mat. He makes it back to his feet as the champ curses him out before they trade strikes again, until Mox goes for a piledriver. COPE escapes to the ropes, eventually sending Mox over the top rope to the outside before following up with a baseball slide. He climbs the turnbuckle for a cross body onto Mox, sending both men to the floor in the process.

He gets back in the ring, but is soon intercepted by the champ for a choke hold. COPE fights out, sending the champ back to the outside before going after him…only to be sent crashing against the ring post by Mox! Mox catches him by surprise by pulling the challenger into the ring post, with COPE down as the champ mocks the announce team before going back after his opponent. He slams COPE’s head against the barricade before sliding back into the ring, only to break the count by leaving once more.

He brings COPE into the ring, propping him up on the apron for an elbow before bringing him back up…only to send him crashing onto the apron, a neckbreaker sending COPE down on the hardest part of the ring! Back in is the champ, still attacking the neck of the Rated R Superstar until COPE gets to the ropes. Mox goes on the attack again until the ref intervenes, forcing a break from the champ. Mox continues to beat the challenger down, targeting the legs and then the previously injured neck as he mocks COPE throughout.

Mox drives his knee into the upper back of COPE now, forcing him to retreat to the corner as he charges in…only for COPE to score a roll up for a nearfall. Mox turns it right back around, firmly in control as we get a shot of The Opps watching on up above. Back in the ring, COPE fights back with an Impaler to try and get back into this match. He follows up with a lariat, but Mox is the first to his feet as the challenger takes him to the mat. He hits the ropes for a clothesline before taking the champ down hard for a nearfall.

The action finds itself in the corner as COPE lands a superplex, but it’s only good for a two count as the challenger goes for the Grindhouse. Mox struggles to crawl toward the ropes, eventually forcing a break in the process as COPE lets go of the crossface…only to take the champ down to the floor outside with a spear through the ropes!

COPE tries to follow up with another spear, but is sent into the ring steps by Mox who yells into the camera that he’s about to send the challenger home in a wheelchair. Mox pulls some padding off the floor, but COPE counters a piledriver to send the champ to the floor with a back body drop instead! It doesn’t take long for Mox to respond by sending the Rated R Superstar down to the exposed floor himself, causing some big damage as the champ looks at J.R. with a smile on his face before bringing COPE back into the ring.

He goes for a bulldog choke but the challenger gets to his feet…only to be dropped with a piledriver as Mox goes for the cover for a two count. COPE is prone and this gives Mox an opening to cinch in the bulldog choke, and the challenger is fading in the center of the ring. He starts crawling toward the ropes, however, eventually grabbing a rope for the break! This leads to Mox arguing with the ref, shoving him away before leaving the ring for a steel chair.

The ref is quick to get the chair away, as COPE rolls Mox up…only to be sent into the ref, who tumbles to the outside as Mox connects with a Paradigm Shift! With the ref still down, Mox leaves the ring for a pair of chairs before sliding back in the ring, setting up for a potential Con-Chair-To…until COPE kicks the chair right in the champ’s face!

Mox is rattled here and this allows COPE a chance to take the champ down. Both men are struggling to get back to their feet as Wheeler Yuta walks down the ramp to a chorus of boos, entering the ring as he stares down Mox and COPE…before hitting the challenger with a Busaiku Knee! Mox looks to beat the Rated R Superstar down some more until Jay White runs in for the save, grabbing the briefcase to hit Mox…only to lay out COPE instead! Yuta brings the Switchblade out of the ring, brawling with him as the ref comes back into the ring while Mox makes the cover…and we get a very slow two count after the damage done to the ref, before COPE kicks out!

Mox is not at all happy as he gives out to the ref, leading to a spear by COPE for a cover of his own…and this time it’s the champ who kicks out! COPE gets to his feet, hitting Mox with another spear before going to the corner for a third one and the cover…but a hooded figure pulls the ref out of the ring! It’s…it’s Christian Cage! The crowd is riled up as they realize what’s happening, and he tells the ref he’s cashing in his title shot!

3-Way Match for the AEW World Championship: Jon Moxley defends against COPE and Christian Cage

We get the announcement that this is now a 3-Way Match as Cage spears his old friend, only for COPE to kick out! He goes for another one before Mox slides in to cinch in a bulldog choke. Cage gets a hand on COPE’s chest for a two count, but is pulled away by the champ who still has the choke locked in…and Cage is out cold before he can try that again, forcing the ref to call for the bell!

Winner via submission and still AEW World Champion: Jon Moxley

The crowd are NOT happy about what’s gone down as Mox leaves the ring with his briefcase. He makes his way through the crowd until he is confronted by Prince Nana, who reminds the champ that his man Swerve is the number one contender. Speaking of Strickland, we get a look up as said contender gets the drop on Mox from the balcony to a big pop from the crowd, with the PPV coming to an end as Swerve’s music hits.
