We go to the new intro for tonight’s show…the show opens with Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness welcoming us to Collision inside the venue.
Orange Cassidy’s music hits to a big ovation as the Arlington crowd is fired up tonight! Johnny TV’s music is up next as he and Taya Valkyrie come out next to boos from the fans.
Orange Cassidy vs. Johnny TV
The bell rings and we are underway as we have an overflow crowd tonight. Both men lock up. Cassidy has Johnny in an armbar. Johnny reverses the hold and now has Cassidy in the armbar…Cassidy reverses the hold and how Cassidy again has Johnny’s arm locked up…the hold is broken as Johnny showboats in the corner of the ring. Johnny has sunglasses on…Cassidy reaches into his pocket and puts on sunglasses. Cassidy puts his hands in his pockets and runs the ropes, taking down Johnny, who rolls out of the ring. Taya tries to calm him down…Cassidy then takes out Johnny on the floor. Cassidy grabs Johnny and rolls him back in the ring. Cassidy comes off the ropes with a big cross body on Johnny. Johnny grabs Cassidy and takes him down with a Russian leg sweep. Johnny hits Cassidy with a knee to the face. Johnny goes for a standing moonsault, but Cassidy moves out of the way…Johnny covers Cassidy, but he kicks out at two. Cassidy rolls to the outside. Taya then kicks Cassidy who is down on the floor. Johnny goes to the floor and kicks Cassidy in the chest. Johnny pulls the signage off the safety rail and slams Cassidy’s elbow on it. Cassidy goes back in the ring and rolls back to floor. Taya and Johnny kiss as the fans boo. Johnny works on the elbow of Cassidy and rolls him back in the ring. Johnny covers Cassidy, but he gets his feet on the ropes. Johnny has Cassidy in the corner and hits Cassidy in the mid-section. Cassidy comes back and slams Johnny’s head on the turnbuckle, as the fans count…Johnny then recovers and uses the middle rope as a spring board to take down Cassidy…we get chants for Cassidy by the fans…Cassidy comes back with kicks to Johnny, but its not enough…Cassidy then rolls up Johnny, but he kicks out at two. Cassidy then drops Johnny and drops him again with a DDT. Cassidy covers Johnny, but he kicks out at two. Cassidy is setting up the orange punch, but its blocked by Johnny who drops Cassidy with a swinging neck breaker…Johnny goes for a starship pain, but Cassidy moves out of the way. Cassidy comes off the ropes, but he caught with a neck breaker. Johnny this time connects with the starship pain on Cassidy. Johnny covers Cassidy, but he kicks out a two.
Cassidy recovers and drops Johnny with a beach break and an orange punch. Cassidy covers Johnny and gets the three count.

After the match Taya takes out Cassidy from behind…the music of Willow Nightingale hits as she comes down to makes the save…Taya and Johnny quickly leave the ring and then checks on Cassidy.
We go to a video package with the Patriarchy capturing the Trios Championships on last week’s show.
We go backstage with Juice Robinson and The Gunns. Juice says Momma Wayne screwed the pooch when she sprayed him with that bullcrap…Austin says that Christian will have to answer to the Bang Bang Gang and they will find him. Colten says that Arlington is their fans and this is their building…
Claudio Castignoli and Wheeler Yuta are out next, as we get ready for the next match. Brian Cage’s music hits as he comes out to the ring. The new ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty is out next with Shane Taylor who is injured and can’t compete tonight.
The music of Top Flight is out next with Action Andretti.
Blackpool Combat Club’s Claudio Castignoli and Wheeler Yuta vs. “The Machine” Brian Cage and Lee Moriarty vs. Top Flight (Dante and Darrius Martin)
The bell rings as Yuta and Lee start off. Lee takes down Yuta…Yuta runs the ropes and drops kicks Lee. Dante is tagged in on this three way match…Dante kicks Yuta and then follows up with a cross body. Dante covers Yuta, but he kicks out at two. Cage is in as Top Flight take out Cage, but he tags in Claudio and tries to take out Top Flight, but they double Claudio, sending him to the floor. Yuta is tagged in, but we get a hot tag with Claudio in. Cage tags himself in. Cage grabs Dante and drops him with a full nelson slam, as we go to our first break of the night that is picture in picture…
Picture-In-Picture: Lee is tagged in as he takes down Dante and works on hi left arm. Lee picks up Dante and slams his head on the turnbuckle. Cage is tagged in. He chops Dante in the corner and drops him on the mat. He jaws at Claudio and then picks up Dante and slams him to the mat. Brian has Dante in a headlock. Dante tries to fight out of the hold. Cage releases the hold and stomps on Dante. Cage picks up Dante, but he gets out to the hold…
Back from picture-in-picture, Dante tries to escape the hold of Cage…Lee is tagged in and takes down Dante with a flying knee. Yuta is in, but he is taken out and sent to the floor. Claudio is in and takes out Cage and Lee and nails them with elbows…Claudio sends Cage to the floor and then slams Lee…Claudio picks up Lee for the giant swing! Claudio drops him and calls for the lariat…Darrius does a blind tag and face plants Lee. Darrius covers Lee, but he kicks out. Lee then rolls up Darrius, but he kicks out at two. Darrius then picks up Lee and face plants him again and covers him, but Lee kicks out at two…Claudio and Cage are now in. Claudio and Cage exchange lariats, but neither man will drop. Top Flight come in a take out Claudio, sending him to the floor Lee then shoots through the middle rope and takes out Top Flight. Cage then Darrius…Claudio then nails Cage with a big elbow…in the ring Yuta drops Darrius hard on the mat and covers him to get the win.

The music of Hologram hits as he is out first…He makes he way to the ring. The fans chant Hologram. The music of The Beast Mortos is up next, as Mortos makes his way down to the ring.

The fans chant Mortos as the bell rings…Mortos charges at Hologram, but he moves out of the way. Hologram runs the ropes and takes down Mortos, but he is quick to get back up. Mortos tries to grab Hologram, but he counters with a pin attempt…Mortos shows his frustration. Hologram runs the ropes, as Mortos takes him down with a powerslam and covers him for only a two count. Mortos picks up Hologram, but he counters and hits Mortos with an elbow…Mortos then comes back and nails Hologram with a big elbow, sending him to the floor. We go to picture in picture…
Picture-In-Picture: Mortos is standing in the ring as Hologram is still on the floor. Mortos goes to the floor and sends Hologram into the steel steps. Mortos grabs Hologram and sends him into the guardrail. Mortos then picks up Hologram and rolls him back in the ring. Mortos stomps on Hologram in the center of the ring.

As Mortos goes for another kick, Hologram moves out of the way and takes down Mortos to a huge ovation from the fans! Mortos is up and shoves Hologram. Both men are up on the top rope…Mortos grabs Hologram and slam him back first on the mat. Mortos covers Hologram, but he kicks out at one. Hologram is up and kicks Mortos in the face. Hologram then kicks Mortos again. Both men are on the apron…Hologram attempts a Canadian Destroyer on Mortos on the ring apron, but does not quite connect…Mortos hits the floor. Hologram walks the ropes and then from the ropes takes down Mortos, as the fans go wild! Hologram runs the ropes and leaps through the middle ropes and takes down Mortos on the floor! Mortos rolls back in the ring. Hologram is up on the top rope and comes down, but he caught by Mortos, but Hologram counters, dropping Mortos. Hologram covers The Beast, but he kicks out at two….Mortos recovers and picks up Hologram, dropping him on his back…Mortos covers Hologram, but he kicks out at two. We get a this is awesome chants from the Arlington crowd. Hologram kicks Mortos…The Beast then chops Hologram…both men are up on the top rope. Mortos attempts to slam Hologram from the top, but he reverses it, sending Mortos to the mat. Hologram then hits Mortos with a crucifix powerbomb and covers The Beast to get the win!

Back from the break, the music of Thunder Rosa hits, as the former AEW Women’s World Champion makes her way down to the ring to a sizable ovation. Maya World is already in the ring. She is a local talent from Dallas.

The bell rings as we get a big Thunder Rosa chant…Both women lock up…Maya sends Rosa down with an arm drag. Rosa has Maya in an armbar. Rosa works on the left arm of Maya…the hold is broken…Maya comes back and kicks Rosa in the mid-section. Rosa fires back and drops Maya with a big drop kick. Maya is back up and jaws at Rosa. Maya slaps Rosa, but it only makes her mad. Rosa fires back with a slap and then rights and lefts on Maya…Rosa charges at Rosa and nails her with forearms and a kick. Rosa sends Maya to the corner and lands a running drop kick on Maya. Rosa then chops Maya and nails her with big rights. Rosa runs the ropes and drops Maya and then stops on Maya with both feet. Rosa puts Maya in a camel clutch as Maya is quick to tap out.

We go to a video package featuring Lance Archer. We now go backstage with Lance Archer taking out local talent. Archer says things are going to drastically change in AEW. Archer says that he is going to beat Will Ospreay, as the two will have a match on Dynamite.

The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Tomohiro Ishii and Kyle O’Reilly) vs. Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari, Josh Woods and Tony Nese)
Kyle O’Reilly and Josh Woods start as both men lockup. Kyle kicks Josh, who pushes him to the corner, to tag in Tony Nese. Ishii is tagged in as Kyle and ishii double team Nese. Mark Briscoe comes in and kicks Nese. Nese chops Ishii, but it has no affect on him. Ishii then chops Nese and tags in Mark Briscoe. Mark picks up Nese and drops him. Kyle O’Reilly is tagged in. As Kyle runs the ropes, Ariya grabs the feet of Kyle…in the ring, Mark Briscoe sets up a chair and leaps over the ropes, taking out the heels on the floor…we go to picture in picture…
Picture-In-Picture: Mark kicks Woods on the outside…Woods gets back up and sends Mark into the guardrail. Back in the ring, Woods works on Kyle and then tags in Ariya who covers Kyle for only a two count. Ariya then nails Kyle with a series of rights. Mark Sterling gets involved from the outside as the ref is distracted. Ariya has Kyle in a headlock…Kyle fights back…
Back from picture-in-picture: Kyle picks up Ariya and slams him back first…Ishii is tagged in…Josh Woods is tagged in. My Sling feed crashed, so I missed everything leading up to Mark Briscoe coming in. Ariya is sent to the floor by Briscoe…Nese is in as Mark sends him down with an elbow. Mark covers Nese for only a two count. Mark is going for a Jay Driller, but Mark Sterling distracts him, as Nese hits Mark with a jaw breaker…Josh Woods is tagged in. Mark takes out Ariya and sends him to the floor. Woods drops Mark Briscoe with a lariat. Ishii is in the ring and sends Woods to the floor. Nese kicks O’Reilly, sending him to the floor. Nese then takes out O’Reilly on the floor. The action is all over the place with this match…Ishii takes out Wood and Mark Sterling… Kyle puts Wood in an armbar hold, as Wood submits.

Archer picks him up again and drops him another chokeslam. Archer calls for another slam…Archer picks him up and sets him on the top rope and slaps him…Archer then picks up the local talent and drops him with a wipeout (Razor’s Edge), for the quick squash win.

Max Caster says the World Tag Titles will come back to The Acclaimed…Caster then names FTR…Caster says if FTR were real wrestlers they would have been in the cage and asks where they were, supposed to be defending a company they love…

The bell rings as we are underway…Both men attempt to lock up. PAC sends Rush to the corner. PAC picks up Lio and slams him down. PAC picks up Lio, but he counters the hold and sends PAC to the mat. Rush runs the ropes as PAC catches him and drops him with a back breaker. PAC grabs Lio, but he counters and kicks PAC. PAC picks up Lio, but he holds onto the top rope. PAC then drops Lio with a big punch to the jaw. PAC sends Rush into the corner. Rush fires back, but PAC kicks Rush and then kicks him in the side of the head, as we go to picture-in-picture.
Picture-In-Picture: PAC puts a big boot to the head of Rush. Rush rolls to the floor…PAC then goes to the outside and puts a boot to the throat of Rush…Rush is back in the ring, as PAC kicks him in the head. PAC picks up Rush and has him in a headlock…

PAC goes up, as Rush holds on to the turnbuckle and headbutt’s PAC, sending him to the mat. PAC then picks up Rush and delivers a German Suplex and makes a pin attempt, but Rush kicks out at two. Rush drags Rush to the corner. PAC climbs to the top rope…Rush rolls to the center of the ring. PAC then comes down…Rush kicks PAC…Lio kicks PAC and then drops PAC with a cutter and covers PAC for only a two count. Rush is up on the top rope and comes down with a frog splash, but PAC counters by getting the knees up. PAC grabs Rush, but he reverses it and rolls up PAC for only a two count…PAC slaps Rush and applies the brutalizer. Rush taps out.

We go back into the venue as it’s time for Battle of Belts. “Timeless” Toni Storm’s music hits, as the AEW Women’s World Champion is out by herself. She has received a big ovation from the fans.

Toni charges at Taya and picks her up again and drops her. Toni nails Taya with a him attack. Taya rolls to the floor. Taya then recovers and sends the champ into the steel steps…Taya then slaps Toni repeatedly in the chest. Taya goes in the ring, to break the count…Toni then recovers and fires back with chops on Taya. Taya has Toni on her shoulders and drops her back first on the floor, as we go to picture-in-picture…

We go backstage with Lexy Nair talking to Kip Sabian. Lexy brings up the Patriarchy. Sabian talks about losing his father and what is important to him. It is doing his family proud and being the best in the company….Kip says that he is willing to let it go, but Nick Wayne can’t. Kip says that Nick knows where to find him.

The bell rings as Strong tosses his elbow pad at Kevin Von Erich. Strong and Ross start things off. Strong locks up the arm of Ross, but he fights out and drop kicks Strong. Ross tags in his brother and drop kicks Strong. Bennett is in and chops Marshall. He comes back and drops Bennett with several hip tosses. Bennett tags in Taven, as Marshall tags in Dustin. Dustin drops Taven with a lariat. Dustin tags in Ross. Marshall and Ross double team Taven…Ross covers Taven, but he kicks out at two. Marshall charges at Taven and hits him with a lariat in the corner…Taven recovers…Dustin and The Von Erich’s send The Undisputed Kingdom to the floor, as we go to picture in picture…
Picture-In-Picture: The action spills to the floor. Taven works on Marshall, as Ross drops Strong with a clothesline. Dustin picks up Bennett, but he is then nailed by Bennett and dropped head first on the ramp way. In the ring, Strong picks Marshall, as The Undisputed Kingdom triple team him in the corner. Ross is in and takes out Strong, Taven and Bennett with big back drops. Strong comes back and hits Marshall with big right hands. Bennett is tagged in as Ross is also tagged in.
Back from picture-in-picture: Taven is now tagged in and drops Ross with a big suplex. Taven covers Ross for only a two count. Taven has Ross in a headlock. Taven then slams Ross’s head on the mat…Ross tries to make a tag, but its stopped. Bennett is tagged in, but he then stops Ross from making a tag and then tags in Strong. Dustin is up on the apron…Dustin is tagged in and takes down Bennett…Dustin powerslams Strong and Bennett. Dustin then drops Taven with a bulldog and then drops him with a Canadian Destroyer…Dustin then drops Bennett on his head and covers him, but Taven breaks the count. Strong and Taven take out The Von Erich’s on the floor. Bennett is tied up on the ropes, but Taven distracts Dustin. He charges at Bennett and then is picked up and dropped back first. Strong hits Dustin with a pump kick…Ross and Marshall come in…they go to the floor as Strong and Taven take out Ross and Marshall. As Taven and Strong distract the ref, Bennett nails Dustin with a cowbell… Bennett covers Dustin, but he kicks out…Shibata runs down and puts the claw on Strong, as Kevin puts the claw on Taven…Ross and Marshall drop Bennett…Dustin then drops Bennett with a discuss lariat…Dustin covers Bennett for the win! The fans erupt!

After the match, streamers are tossed in the ring. Paul Wight goes to the ring and presents the belts to Dustin and The Von Erich’s. Christopher Daniels and other local talent celebrate as the show goes off the air.
I honestly did not expect Dustin and The Von Erich’s to win. I must admit, I was excited and emotional when the ref made the three count on Mike Bennett! What a great win and a great match! Growing up, I watched Kevin, Kerry and the other brothers on WCCW. This was so great to see Marshall and Ross win tag team gold with Dustin Rhodes.
Overall, this was a great three hours of wrestling from AEW that was fast-paced. The fans stole the shows and made the atmosphere a lot of fun.
TonyKhan put on three solid hours of wrestling tonight. I love the smaller venue with the sold out crowds. I hope Khan keeps this up not only for AEWCollison, but tries it with AEWDynamite.
