Getting into the Business: 1977: Robert Gibson made his professional wrestling debut.. Robert Gibson's brother and tag team partner, Rick Gibson, helped him into the wrestling business.. ~~~Rick was involved in a car accident forcing him to retire and Robert had several partners before teaming up with Ricky Morton.. Memphis: The Rock'n'Roll Express: 1983: Jerry Lawler put Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson together in Memphis as a tag team called the RockNRoll Express.. The Fabulous Ones were the hugely popular team at the time, and he created the R&R as a "b-version"..
