World Wrestling Federation - The Sultan: 1996: Fatu re-surfaced with a new gimmick, The Sultan.. With a leather mask that hid his true identity.. ~~~The Sultan was managed by The Iron Sheik and Bob Backlund, got a title shot at Bret Hart, but eventually disappeared.. ~~~1997: The Sultan suffered an injury, and was released from the company.. Fatu took some time off to heal several injuried before hitting the independant wrestling circuit.. Packing on the Pounds: 1999: Fatu popped up in Memphis, in the WWF's farm league, with a much thicker frame, gaining over 100 pounds! Rikishi (as he would be known) started out as a heel but quickly turned face because it suited him better.. World Wrestling Federation - Rikishi: Rikishi was recruited by the WWF and stuck with Grandmaster Sexay & Scotty Too Hotty in a team called Too Cool.. ~~~Too Cool would dance around the ring to dance music and flashing lights, the crowd ate it up!
