Early 2001: A mysterious man named "Machine" put out a bounty on the head of of Damaja.. Spade, Skraper & Hard looked to collect, and were eventually joined by the "Machine".. The Machine was defeated by Nick Dinsmore and forced to unmask, revealing that he was Doug Basham! ~~~Doug Basham was known to be OVW Co-Owner Danny Davis' newphew.. Team OVW (Dinsmore/Conway/Davis) defeated The Revolution (Spade/Skraper/Hard) in a loser-leaves-OVW match.. Nick Dinsmore defeated Mike Hard in another loser-leaves-OVW match the same night with Jim Cornette counting 1-2-3.. July 25, 2001: Doug Basham defeated Flash Flanagan to win the OVW Heavyweight title.. Doug "The Machine" Basham added the dreaded "Queen Victoria" to the Revolution.. Leviathan (of the Disciples of Synn) defeated Doug Basham to win the OVW Heavyweight title!! Basham later produced a contract he and Danny Davis had signed back in 1993 saying he couldn't be fired.. ~~~The contract also stated that he had the option of buying one-quarter of OVW for $25,000! January 26, 2002: Damaja shocked OVW by actually joining the group the had attempted to elimate him! Feb. 9, 2002: Basham & Damaja defeated Nick Dinsmore & Rob Conway to win the OVW Southern Tag Team titles! Big Bad John (jealous over Damaja) left the Revolution.. April 5th, 2002: The Revolution was defeated by Dinsmore/Conway/Davis for full control of OVW.. May 17th, 2002: Basham & Damaja finally lost the Tag Titles back to Dinsmore/Conway.. May 22nd, 2002: Danny Davis finally got fed up and fired Basham, Dajama & Victoria dispite threat of legal action.. ~~~Basham then got the WWE to step in and force OVW to overturn the dismissal.. March 8, 2003 - OVW Show: Nick Dinsmore & Bradshaw w/Ron Simmons b Doug Basham & Damaja.. March 12, 2003 - OVW Taping: Doug Basham/Damaja/Kanyon vs Nick Dinsmore/Bradshaw/Johnny Jeter..
