In The Beginning: 1983: Phil Lafleur began wrestling in Calgary wrestling under his real name, "Phil Lafleur". Phil Lafleur took the name Dan Kroffat from the popular Calgary wrestler from the 1970s who wrestled as Dan Kroffat.. Wrestled in Montreal in the mid-80s where he held the International tag titles with Tom Zenk (1986) & Armand Rougeau (1987). Late 1980s: Dan Kroffat went to Giant Baba's All Japan Pro Wrestling and formed a successful tag team with Doug Furnas.. Dan Kroffat was Junior Heavyweight champion defeating Masanobu Fuchi for the All Japan PWF Junior Heavyweight title. World Wrestling Federation: Dan Kroffat began wrestling in the WWF as "Phil Lafon" with Doug Furnas at the end of 1996.
