Mr. Sakurada helped train the legendary former WWF Champion and current WWE Hall of Famer Bret "Hitman" Hart.. Kendo Nagasaki wrestled in the NWA on WCW Television as The Dragonmaster in the J-Tex Corporation.. Jay Ambler wrote: Long before Kendo Nagasaki became affiliated with WCW he cut his teeth like so many other great wrestlers in Eddie Graham's Florida territory. Between 1983-84 Nagasaki engaged in a series of battles with the top competition. At around Nagasaki's entrance into Championship Wrestling from Florida (CWF), Billy Jack Haynes received a big push with the help of Dusty Rhodes. Haynes had just come out of the Pacific Northwest with steam and a reputation behind him. Nagasaki would capture the CWF Heavyweight Belt from Mike Rotundo, winning the belt in January 1984. A series of attacks and non-title matchess between Haynes and Nagasaki began. Nagasaki had a reputation as being a samurai and would often employ the use of a 'kendo stick' on his unlucky opponents. Haynes would defeat Nagasaki March 1984 to win the Florida belt. Additionally Nagasaki would often be paired as a tag team partner with The White Ninja (Great Muta)Following his departure from CWF Nagasaki left and briefly wrestled in the Von Erich's World Class Championship Wrestling.
