Johnny Weaver was a tag team specialist who wrestled mostly in the Mid-Atlantic territory for Jim Crockett Promotions.. Johnny Weaver was a deputy sheriff with Mecklenburg County in Charlotte, North Carolina since 1989 until his death.. Johnny Weaver is considered the inventor of the Sleeper Hold, which he called the "Weaverlock" when he used it.. November 5, 2005--CWF: Don & Rocky Kernodle w/Johnny Weaver defeated The Street Sweepers (Jay Sinn & Gregory Vercetti)..
