- Mid-2000: Takao Omori left All-Japan with Mitsuharu Misawa‘s NOAH promotion.
- Mid-2002: Takao Omori had a falling out with Yoshihiro Takayama splitting up Team No Fear.
- February 2002: Takao Omori completely disassociated himself from NOAH.

2005:
- January 23, 2005: Takao Omori defeated Steve Corino in a Tournament final to win the vacant AWA World title in Tokyo, Japan!

- June 11, 2005: Steve Corino defeated Takao Omori to win the AWA World Heavyweight title in Bay City, Michigan.
- November 16, 2005 – Zero-ONE MAX: Shinjiro Otani and Tadao Yasuda defeated Takao Omori and Kamikaze.
- November 17 2005 – Zero-ONE MAX: Shinjiro Otani/Tatsuhito Takaiwa/Tadao Yasuda b Kensuke Sasaki/Omori/Katsuhiko Nakajima.
