Career Highlights

In The Beginning:

  • 1991: Sharmell Sullivan won the Miss Black America pageant.
  • ~~~That was the same year Mike Tyson judged the contest and was later convicted of raping one of the contestants.

World Championship Wrestling:

  • Sharmell Sullivan originally started out in the wrestling business as a member of the Nitro Girls, known as “Storm”.
  • Storm took a bigger on-air roll as “Paisley”, the valet of The Artist Formerly Known As Prince Iaukea, and KweeWee (Alan Funk).
  • ~~~Paisley teamed with Kweewee for several mixed tag matches with Chris Candido and Tammy Sytch.
  • Sharmell Sullivan joined the pop group Diversity 5, along with several other former Nitro Girls.
  • Sharmell Sullivan became the real-life girlfriend of Booker T, who had just joined the World Wrestling Federation.
  • Sharmell Sullivan was signed by the WWF and put into the developmental system.

World Wrestling Federation – Developmental:

  • Sharmell Sullivan was sent to OVW for training, where she competed against Nidia, Ivory, Victoria and Helena Heavenly.
  • November 22 2001: Sharmell Sullivan was called up and put in a backstage interviewers position on SmackDown.
  • Sharmell Sullivan tore her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) while training and will be out of action for four to six months.
  • ~~~Sullivan’s knee buckled while she was working out in the ring at Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) in Louisville, KY.
  • Sharmell Sullivan has retired from wrestling to run Booker T’s clothing store out of Houston, Texas.

  • March 2005: Sharmell Sullivan and Booker T were married — Fellow Nitro Girl Chae was part of the wedding party.
  • March 17, 2005 – SmackDown: Sharmell appeared in the front row cheering on her husband but did not participate in an angle.
  • May 5, 2005 – SmackDown: Kurt Angle told Sharmell to tell Booker T that he’s challenging him to a match at Judgment Day!
  • ~~~Kurt Angle later demanded that Booker T answer his challenge and then called Sharmell a “gutterslut”.
  • ~~~Booker T then attacked Kurt Angle and held him so Sharmell could slap him, but Angle rebounded by low-blowing Booker!
  • ~~~Kurt Angle then chased Sharmell, who tripped in the entrance way and injured her ankle, as Angle harassed her more.
  • May 12, 2005 – SmackDown: Kurt Angle vs Booker T was a NO CONTEST when Angle ran back and ‘sexually assaulted’ Sharmell.
  • May 19, 2005 – SmackDown: Kurt Angle issued a forced apology via sattelite, but then claimed that Sharmell enjoyed it!
  • ~~~Kurt Angle had the audacity to claim that Sharmell molested him and fondled his privates and they both LOVED it!
  • May 22, 2005 – Judgment Day: Booker T defeated Kurt Angle (Sharmell ran down to check on Booker afterwards).
  • ~~~After the match, Booker T handcuffed Kurt Angle to the ropes so that Sharmell could kick him straight between the legs!
  • May 26, 2005 – SD!: Booker T participated in a “Winners Choice” Battle Royal, with the winner chosing his opponent for next week.
  • ~~~Kurt Angle won the match and looked into the camera, and announced that he will face Sharmell in a 1-on-1 match!
  • June 2, 2005 – SmackDown: Kurt Angle defeated Booker T and Sharmell in a Handicap match by pinning Sharmell ina sexual position.
  • ~~~Booker T grabbed a steel chair and chased Kurt Angle away and later demanded a rematch from General Manager Long.
  • August 4, 2005 – SmackDown: MNM (Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro w/Melina and Jillian) beat Chris Benoit and Booker T w/Sharmell.
  • ~~~Melina Perez grabbed Booker T’s ankle, so Sharmell went after Melina, only to get speared by Jillian Hall! (Distracting Booker T).
  • August 18, 2005 – SmackDown: Joey Mercury and Melina Perez defeated Booker T and Sharmell after Jillian Hall tripped Sharmell.
  • ~~~Backstage, Sharmell yelled at Booker T for not “being there for her” and suggested he step up and be a man!
  • August 25, 2005 – SmackDown: Christian had Booker T and Sharmell on the Peep Show only to have the Mexicools ruin the segment.
  • ~~~Later on: The Mexicools (Psicosis and Super Crazy w/Juventud) defeated Booker T and Christian when Christian walked out!
  • September 1, 2005 – SmackDown: Mr. Ken Kennedy defeated Booker T after Booker was distracted by Sharmell yelling at Christian.
  • September 16, 2005 – SmackDown: Christian and Orlando Jordan defeated Chris Benoit and Booker T w/Sharmell in a tag team match.
  • ~~~While Booker T and Orlando Jordan fought over a steel chair at ringside, Sharmell accidentally got knocked down.
  • September 23, 2005 – SmackDown: Booker T defeated “Captain Charisma” Christian with heavy involvement from Sharmell.
  • October 7, 2005 – SmackDown: Booker T defeated Orlando Jordan after Sharmell tripped Orlando (Booker T didn’t see it).
  • October 14, 2005 – SmackDown: Booker T defeated Christian and John Layfield and Rey Mysterio to earn a United States title shot!
  • ~~~Sharmell tripped Rey Mysterio when he went for the 619, but Booker T didn’t see it and hit the scissors kick for the win!
  • October 21, 2005 – SmackDown: Booker T defeated Chris Benoit to win the US title after Sharmell tripped Benoit (Booker didnt see)
  • October 28, 2005 – SmackDown: Booker T apologized to Chris Benoit and offered a rematch and forced Sharmell to also apologize.
  • ~~~Sharmell stormed off, but it was a swerve, as Booker T turned heel and knocked Chris Benoit out with the US belt!
  • January 13, 2006 – SmackDown: Randy Orton (sub for Booker T) defeated Chris Benoit to win the Best of 7 Series (4-3).
  • ~~~Booker T whacked Chris Benoit with the U.S. title belt! As a result, Booker T was awarded the United States title!
  • February 3, 2006 – SmackDown: Chris Benoit defeated Fit Finlay (sub for Booker T) by DQ when Sharmell interfered.
  • ~~~Booker T and Sharmell thanked Fit Finlay backstage and then freaked out when they bumped into The Boogeyman!
  • February 19, 2006 – No Way Out: Chris Benoit defeated Booker T w/Sharmell to win the United States title!
  • March 10, 2006 – SmackDown: Booker T and Sharmell presented letters from fans saying that The Boogeyman should banned.
  • ~~~Booker T and Sharmell were shocked when they discovered their bag of letter was full of the Boogeyman’s worms — !!!
  • March 17, 2006 – SmackDown: Booker T w/Sharmell defeated Jeremy Young (Boogeyman played headgames after the match).
  • March 18, 2006 – Saturday Night’s Main Event: Booker T faked an injured to get out of his scheduled match with The Boogeyman.
  • March 31, 2006 – SmackDown: Paul Burchill defeated Booker T by Countout when The Boogeyman abducted Sharmell..
  • ~~~Booker T followed a trail of worms to the basement were he found his screaming wife surrounded by a huge pile of WORMS!
  • April 2, 2006 – WrestleMania 22: The Boogeyman defeated Booker T and Sharmell in a Handicap match.
  • April 7, 2006 – SmackDown: Booker T and Sharmell produced a restraining order against The Boogeyman and threatened to sue GM Long.
  • ~~~Gunner Scott (aka OVW Champion Brent Albright) defeated Booker T w/Sharmell when The Boogeyman’s music played out loud.
  • May 21, 2005 – Judgment Day: Booker T w/Sharmell defeated Bobby Lashley to win the King of the Ring Tournament!.
  • May 26, 2006 – SmackDown: King Booker had his coronation ceremony and officially named Queen Sharmell his first lady.
  • June 30, 2006 – SmackDown: Bobby Lashley defeated King Booker w/Sharmell in a Steel Cage match to retain the U.S. Title.
  • Queen Sharmell won the Best SmackDown Diva/Female Award in the 2006 OnlineWorldofWrestling.com Awards..
  • March 21, 2007–Booker T’s PWA: King Booker w/Queen Sharmell defeated Hardcore Holly in Pasadena, Texas .
  • April 6, 2007 – SmackDown: Matt Hardy defeated King Booker (Queen Sharmell called Booker a “disappointment”).

  • June 11, 2007 – RAW (Draft Special): King Booker (and Queen Sharmell) were drafted to the RAW brand.
  • ~~~Later that Night: The Mr. McMahon “character” was tragically killed when his private limousine exploded into a ball of flames.
  • June 18, 2007 – RAW: Randy Orton and King Booker w/Queen Sharmell defeated John Cena and Bobby Lashley in the main event.
  • August 20, 2007–RAW: King Booker called out Triple H but a fake Triple H came out and Booker made him crown him “King”.
  • ~~~King Booker then demanded that Jim Ross kiss his royal ring. JR refused. Sharmell pushed JR and forced him to kiss it!
  • August 26, 2007 – SummerSlam: Triple H (less bulky) defeated King Booker w/Queen Sharmell..
  • King Booker’s name was linked to an independent Steriod investigation and Booker was suspended for 60 days (second offense).
  • ~~~After being informed of his 60 day suspension, Robert “King Booker” Huffman and wife Sharmell decided to QUIT the WWE.
  • October 17, 2007: Booker T and Sharmell were officially released from the WWE and free to work eslewhere as of 10/27.

  • January 24, 2008 – TNA IMPACT: Jeremy Borash and So Cal Val announced Booker T as the TNA Most Memorable Moment of 2007!
  • January 31, 2008 – TNA IMPACT: Booker T sent in a video message from his home where he was taking care of Sharmell.
  • ~~~It was all a swerve though, because Booker T showed up at the iMPACT Zone and got his hands on Robert Roode!
  • February 10, 2008 – TNA Against All Odds: Booker T vs. Robert Roode ended in a Double Countout in a Revenge Match.
  • March 9, 2008 – TNA Destination-X: Robert Roode w/Miss Payton Banks defeated Booker T w/Tracy Brooks in a Strap match!
  • ~~~As stipulated, Payton Banks got to whip Tracy Brooks with a leather strap and Robert Roode snuck in a few whips too.
  • ~~~Sharmell ran down with a leather belt of her own whipping both Robert Roode and Miss Payton Banks trying to get revenge!
  • March 20, 2008 – TNA IMPACT: Booker T w/Sharmell defeated A.J. Styles w/Karen Angle.
  • ~~~Booker T welcomed Sharmell back to TNA IMPACT – Jim Cornette booked in a mixed Six Sides of Steel match at Lockdown.
  • ~~~Miss Payton Banks showed up and attacked Sharmell, but Sharmell started whipping Banks with a leather strap!
  • April 13, 2008 – TNA Lockdown: Booker T and Sharmell defeated Robert Roode and Miss Payton Banks in an Intergender Cage match.
