  • May 30, 2010 – FCW: Darren Young defeated Skip Sheffield and Michael Tarver and Heath Slater in a 4-WAY #1 Contenders match.
  • June 1, 2010 – WWE NXT: Skip Sheffield was on hand for the NXT season finale where Wade Barrett was announced the winner.
  • June 3, 2010 – Florida championship Wrestling: NXT Season 1 defeated NXT Season 2 in a 5-on-5 match.

World Wrestling Entertainment – The NXT Invasion Angle:

  • June 7, 2010 – WWE Viewers Choice: Wade Barrett led the other 7 NXT rookies in a shocking invasion of the RAW television show.
  • ~~~The eight “Rookies” from NXT Season 1 showed up during a match and viciously attacked John Cena like a rabid pack of wolves.
  • ~~~They destroyed the ring, the ringside area, and Daniel Bryan assaulted ring announcer Justin Robert by choking him with his tie.
  • June 14, 2010 – RAW: The NXT group was ordered to apologize but they refused and instead demanded guaranteed WWE contracts.
  • ~~~RAW General Manager Bret “Hitman” Hart came out and refused to give them contracts and even fired NXT winner Wade Barrett!
  • ~~~LATER: NXT tried to attack John Cena again, but several other WWE Superstars hit the ring and chased them out of the building.
  • ~~~LATER: The NXT guys attacked Bret Hart, stuffed him into a limousine and then rammed him into other vehicles in the parking lot.
  • June 21, 2010 – RAW: Vince McMahon blamed Bret Hart for the chaos surrounding the NXT group and fired him as General Manager.
  • ~~~Mr. McMahon said the new General Manager asked to remain anonymous, and he would run RAW by sending Michael Cole emails.
  • ~~~The new General Manager hired back all of the NXT members – and then each issued arrogant apologies in the middle of the ring.
  • ~~~MAIN EVENT: John Cena vs. WWE champion Sheamus ended in a No Contest with special outside enforcer Vince McMahon.
  • ~~~The NXT group showed up and attacked John Cena. but then they surrounded Vince McMahon and shockingloy destroyed him!
  • June 28, 2010 – RAW: Jerry Lawler and some other legends honored Ricky Steamboat and hyped the release of his new DVD.
  • ~~~The other legends in the ring consisted of Arn Anderson and Dean Malenko and Mike “IRS” Rotunda and Michael P.S. Hayes .
  • ~~~The Nexus (minus Wade Barrett) showed up and attacked Ricky Steamboat and physically destroyed him with all their finishers.
  • July 5, 2010 – RAW: The Nexus assembled in the ring where they were informed the physical contact ban on them would be lifted.
  • ~~~John Cena came out with Randy Orton, Evan Bourne, David Hart Smith, Tyson Kidd, R-Truth, and John Morrison with him.
  • ~~~However, some heels (Sheamus, Edge, Jericho, The, Ted DiBiase, and the Usos) attacked them allowing the Nexus to escape!
  • ~~~The anonymous General Manager called for a truce, so John Cena met Wade Barrett in the ring at the end of the night.
  • ~~~Cena teased a handshake but pulled it. then he was attacked by the Nexus until a bunch of babyfaces storm the ring!
  • July 12, 2010 – RAW: The Nexus surrounded Sheamus backstage, and he felt threatened so he ran off to find John Cena!
  • ~~~Nexus (Wade Barrett and Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel and Skip Sheffield and Michael Tarver and David Otunga) beat John Cena .
  • ~~~After the match; Nexus surrounded Cena in the ring until Sheamus ran out and stood side by side with Cena with steel chairs.
  • July 13, 2010 – NXT: Nexus were invited back to NXT and participated in a 20-Man Battle Royal featuring Season 2 Pros and Rookies.
  • ~~~Nexus (Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater and David Otunga and Wade Barrett and Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield) won the battle royal !
  • July 18, 2010 – Money in the Bank: Sheamus defeated John Cena in a Steel Cage match to retain the WWE championship.
  • ~~~Nexus interfered and sabotaged John Cena’s chances of winning, and Sheamus used this to his advantage and escaped the cage!
  • ~~~John Cena was extremely angry and took his frustrations out on Nexus members Darren Young and Michael Tarver.

World Wrestling Entertainment – The Road to SummerSlam:

  • July 19, 2010 – RAW: Wade Barrett defeated Mark Henry – (After the match; Barrett called out John Cena for an in-ring truce).
  • ~~~Instead, Cena formed an Army consisting of Edge, John Morrison, R-Truth, Great Khali, Chris Jericho, and Bret “Hitman” Hart!
  • July 26, 2010 – RAW: The Nexus as a group surrounded the Great Khali in the ring but eventually allowed him to leave unharmed.
  • ~~~The Nexus beat Team RAW (Goldust and Mark Henry and Yoshi Tatsu and Jerry Lawler and Evan Bourne and Tyson Kidd and DH Smith)
  • ~~~The Nexus eliminated all seven members of the RAW B-team and promised that the same thing would happen at SummerSlam!
  • August 2, 2010 – RAW: Edge vs. Wade Barrett ended in a No Contest when the Nexus showed up (Edge then quit Team WWE!)
  • August 9, 2010 – RAW: The Nexus attacked the Hart Dynasty backstage to get under the skin of Team WWE member Bret Hitman Hart.
  • ~~~The Nexus attacked Mark Henry (who was set to join Team WWE) – they also took out the Great Khali in a backstage assault.
  • ~~~John Cena and Bret Hart vs. Edge and Chris Jericho with the Nexus as Lumberjacks ended with Team WWE coming together as a group.
  • August 15, 2010 – SummerSlam: Team WWE defeated Team Nexus in a 7-on-7 Elimination match (John Cena sole survivor!)
  • ~~~Team WWE (John Cena and Edge and Chris Jericho and John Morrison and R-Truth and Daniel Bryan and Bret “The Hitman” Hart)

  • August 16, 2010 – RAW: Skip Sheffield and David Otunga defeated John Morrison and R-Truth (Nexus went 5-1 vs. Team WWE tonight)
  • ~~~Later that night; The Nexus destroyed Darren Young (the only member to lose his match) and kicked him out of the group!
  • August 18, 2010: Skip Sheffield broke his left ankle at the house show in Honolulu and will likely need surgery.
  • August 23, 2010 – RAW: Slow week for the Nexus. Wade Barrett was put in a Six Pack Challenge at Night of champions.
