  • Chris Hero started his career wrestling as Wife Beater – not to be confused with the CZW version of Wifebeater.
  • ~~~A poster featuring the Wife Beater got into the hands of a women’s liberation group.
  • ~~~This led to some negative press including a boycott of the wrestling show featuring the wrestler known as “Wife Beater”.
  • ~~~Politically Incorrect with Bill Mahr even discussed the matter but didn’t mention Wife Beater’s real name.
  • Bloodfeast 2000: Sabu defeated Chris Hero to retain the NWA World Heavyweight Title.
