Bob Allyn wrote: “I am deeply distressed to learn that Jack Brisco just passed away. My father-in-law, the late Gordon Solie, described Jack as a “class act” in and out of the ring. I learned first hand that Jack was one of the “good guys.” Even though he had just had back surgery years ago, he and his wife, Jan, travelled an hour to co..me to our home and help Pam and I when we were first starting out as authors. He was a highly skilled wrestler (NCAA champ and NWA world champ) and just one hell of a nice guy. We had some fun lunches at a hangout called “Cricketers.” My condolences to Jan and Jack’s brother, Gerry.”
