- 1969: Gino Sannizzaro, son of New England promoter Tony Santos, was working in Florida under the name Gene Dundee..
- ~~~Tony Santos did not want Gino Sannizzaro wrestling so he called Eddie Graham and asked him not to book his son..
- ~~~Eddie Graham agreed so Gene Dundee moved up to the Gulf Coast to work for Lee Fields..
- Gene Dundee put a blonde streak through his hair and was renamed “Flash Monroe” and teamed with Rocket Monroe for 6 years!
- The Monroes (Sputnik/Rocket/Flash) would team up to raise havoc in which ever territory they were in..
