  • July 14, 2008 – RAW: “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan confronted the young Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr. about their bad attitudes.
  • ~~~Rhodes and DiBiase harassed Duggan and told him that he was trying to relive glory days that weren’t glorious to begin with.

  • December 15, 2008 – RAW: Rey Mysterio defeated Sim Snuka by disqualification after Cody Rhodes and Manu interfered in the match.

  • December 22, 2008 – RAW: Kofi Kingston defeated Manu w/Cody Rhodes in a singles match.

  • January 5, 2009 – RAW: Cody Rhodes and Sim Snuka defeated Cryme Tyme (Shad Gaspard and JTG) to solify their spots in Legacy.
  • ~~~After the match; Randy Orton dumped Sim Snuka and welcomed Cody Rhodes, who quickly turned his back on Snuka.

  • January 12, 2009 – RAW: Randy Orton defeated Kane (Sim Snuka and Manu tried to get revenge on Randy Orton after the match).
  • ~~~Ted DiBiase Jr. joined Snuka and Manu, and they tried to recruit Cody Rhodes – but Rhodes and DiBiase sided with Orton!
  • January 19, 2009 – RAW: Cody Rhodes participated in a six-man Battle Royal to preview the Royal Rumble (won by Randy Orton).
  • ~~~Randy Orton defeated Kofi Kingston and Kane and Santino Marella and Ted DiBiase Jr and Cody Rhodes in a Battle Royal.
  • ~~~The strategy was that Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes sacrificed themselves so that their Legacy leader could win the match.
  • ~~~LATER: Goldust (Dustin Rhodes) tried to set his little brother, Cody Rhodes, straight but young Cody went all heel on him.
  • January 25, 2009 – Royal Rumble: Randy Orton outlasted 29 other wrestlers to win the 2009 Royal Rumble last eliminating Triple H!
  • ~~~Randy Orton entered #8 and was assisted by Legacy members Ted DiBiase (#10) and Cody Rhodes (#15) on his way to victory!
  • ~~~Triple H eliminated DiBiase, and then Rhodes, but Orton snuck up behind Triple H and dumped him to win the Royal Rumble!

World Wrestling Entertainment – The Legacy/Randy Orton vs. Shane McMahon:

  • January 26, 2009 – RAW: Randy Orton brought his lawyers and therapist to RAW expecting to be fired by Stephanie McMahon.
  • ~~~Orton said he had IED – intermittent explosive disorder – and the WWE knew about it and threatened to sue the McMahons.
  • ~~~Stephanie said he wasn’t going to fire Randy Orton, but Shane McMahon showed up and single-handedly beat up Legacy.
  • February 2, 2009 – RAW: Cryme Tyme (Shad Gaspard and JTG) defeated Legacy (Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr.) by disqualification.
  • ~~~Legacy attacked Shane and Stephanie – Orton was about to kick Stephanie in the head but Shane dove in front and took the bullet.
  • February 9, 2009 – RAW: Legacy (Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr.) defeated Cryme Tyme (Shad Gaspard and JTG).
  • ~~~MAIN EVENT: Legacy triple-teamed the Undertaker until Shane McMahon showed up and gave DiBiase a coast-to-coast!
