  • CC Starr once drove all the way to Kansas from Arizona for a chance to wrestle his idol, Rufus R. Jones, on an indy card.
  • CC Starr is also an accomplished magician

    Dale Pierce wrote: CC Starr has the distinction of being the partner to a the unknown Eddie Guerrero when the latter made his Arizona debut in 1991, facing Segeant Shultz 1 & 2 and manager The Time Traveler at an indy card held at Graham Central Station nightclub in Phoenix, Arizona. The card incredibly drew close to 2000 people, unheard of for an indy promotion at the time.
