“The Fight Before Christmas” from Fairfield Connecticut

PGW and WICC Tag Team for Children’s charity
On Saturday December 8, 2007 Radio and Wrestling will team up for a fundraising event and live Broadcast to benefit the WICC Holiday Fund for Children. PGW presents “The Fight Before Christmas” at the Knights of Columbus, 333 Unquowa Rd. Fairfield, CT . Belltime is 7:30 There will be 8 exciting matches and skits plus all food and beverages are only $1.00. The show will be broadcast LIVE from 7-11pm with Brian Smith and Company on 600 WICC am and WICC600.com.
There are a few ways to participate in this event for a good cause:

1. There will be a “Meet and Greet” from 6-7pm with the PGW wrestlers and Santa Claus who will be taking photos with fans. There will be a $5.00 donation for a photo with all proceeds going towards the Holiday Fund for Children.

2. Be a guest Ring announcer or Guest Manager/Valet for a match. PGW is offering the chance for listeners to be a part of the show AND support a good cause. For a $200 donation, you can fulfill your fantasy of being on the big show and get your15 minutes of fame, LIVE on the air!

3. Raffle- During the live event we will be holding a large Raffle with many valuable prizes including an Armitron watch, Movie Tickets and Ski passes plus much more. If your company or business would like to support the raffle, we are accepting Prize donations of goods or gift certificates. Tickets are sold at $5.00 for 10 tickets.

4. Auction- WWE personality “Big Dick Johnson” has graciously donated his time to this great cause. We will be holding an on-air auction all day on Friday Dec. 7th, where one lucky winner and three of their friends will have a “Night on the Town” with a WWE personality Mr. Johnson. Prize package includes: Transportation, dinner and a show for 4 people plus a lot of fun!!
About the WICC Holiday Fund for Children:- Originally started in 1971 as “Toys for Hospital Tots” this 501 (c) (3) non-profit has expanded from primarily a toy collection campaign to include and focus on monetary donations. Donations collected are distributed to area non-profit and charitable organizations. To reflect the expansion of services, the organization was re-named the “WICC Holiday Fund for Children” in 1978. Over its long history the fund has distributed approximately One Million dollars as a result of the generosity of local sponsors and listeners who respond to our yearly campaign of compassion during the Holiday season.
