NWA WILDSIDE operated for over 5 Years, from 1999 – 2005, and was based out of Cornelia, GA. The television show produced there was seen in over 40% of the United States and on the Wrestling Channel in the UK and beyond. NWA WILDSIDE featured talent like AJ STYLES, HOTSTUFF HERNANDEZ, RON KILLINGS (K KRUSH), ABYSS (JUSTICE), NEW JACK, DAVID YOUNG, ROMEO BLISS (SURVIVOR’S BUBBA), JIMMY RAVE, GABRIEL (CHAD PARHAM), ICEBERG, TANK, TODD SEXTON, ALTAR BOY LUKE (LUKE HAWX), SEAN ROYAL, RUSTY RIDDLE, EDDIE GOLDEN, JAY FURY, PATRICK BENTLEY, MATT SYDAL, DELIRIOUS, DAIZEE HAZE, FAST EDDIE, “KOOL” SETH DELAY, SALVATORE RINAURO, JASON CROSS, ONYX, RAINMAN (KORY CHAVIS), MIKAL ADRYAN (MIKAL JUDAS), AZRAEL, TONY MAMALUKE and many more.
World Championship Wrestling (WCW) contracted NWA WILDSIDE to serve as its development territory, and sent POWER PLANT wrestlers DAN FACTOR, OMEN, THE BEAST (BOB SAPP), SAM GRECO, ROBBIE RAGE, and many of their television stars like DAVID FLAIR, SHANNON MOORE, “HURRICANE” SHANE HELMS, MARK JINDRAK, SEAN O’HAIRE, ELIX SKIPPER, JIMMY YANG, and more to get additional training, ring time and experience. In 2000 WCW hired several WILDSIDE stars including AJ STYLES, AIR PARIS & EZ MONEY (JASON JETT). WWE signed former NWA Wildside stars such as K KWIK (RON KILLINGS) & JAMIE NOBLE, EVAN BOURNE (MATT SYDAL), and AJ STYLES. TNA ENTERTAINMENT featured former Wildside Champions, including AJ STYLES, DAVID YOUNG, MURPHY, ABYSS, RON “THE TRUTH” KILLINGS, ONYX, JIMMY RAVE, EDWARD CHASTAIN (ICEBERG), & HOTSTUFF HERNANDEZ. ROH featured NWA Wildside Stars, Delirious, Matt Sydal, Mark & Jay Briscoe, Amazing Red, The SAT, Jay Lethal and many more. Dusty Rhodes, Ole Anderson, Larry Zbyszko, Jim Cornette, Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson and Dory Funk, Jr were among the Legends who appeared in NWA Wildside. The NWA Wildside announce team featured Dan “The Dragon” Wilson, Steven Prazak, Scott Hudson and guests like Chris Cruise, Don West, and Jeremy Borash.
