The Stirling, NJ area pro wrestling fans will once again be treated to a night of all-star action from popular tri-state area pro wrestling promotion National Pro Wrestling Superstars, when they return to the Long Hill Township Community Center (264 South Warren Avenue, just off Valley Road) on Friday night September 21st at 7:45pm, for a benefit fundraiser.
And “treated” is the operative word, starting with one of the biggest main events that NPWS has ever staged in Stirling, a Hardcore Tag-Team Showdown, as former ECW TV star and tag-team champion “Dastardly” Danny Doring teams up with northeast veteran troublemaker “The Cold-Hearted Playa” Danny Demanto, as “Team Double-D”, against the duo of local powerhouse favorite Jeff “Cannonball” Guerrero and his partner, former ECW and WWE and TNA hardcore icon, “The Innovator Of Violence”, Tommy Dreamer.
But that is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg, as another huge matchup coming to Stirling will see the return to NPWS rings of the evil vile-tongued former WWE TV star Salvatore “Don’t Call Me ‘Pinky'” Sincere, who will be taking on another former WWE TV star and Tag-Team Champion and multi-time WrestleMania star (going all the way back to the first WrestleMania), but known even better as the hair stylist to the stars, the one and only Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake. These two will meet in Brutus’ favorite kind of match, a “Loser Gets A Haircut” Match, which means somebody’s going home looking differently than when they arrived.
And also returning to NPWS rings after a long absence will be another former WWE and WCW TV star, the one and only “America’s Hero” The Patriot.
There will also be appearances by NPWS Cruiserweight Champion “Mr. Entertainment” J.D. Smoothie and NPWS Tag-Team Champion (and recent 2012 Captain Lou Albano Memorial J-Cup Tag-Team Tournament co-winner) “Corrupted” Corey Havoc, as well as other regional and local pro mat stars, and special guest ring announcers Mayor Emeritus The Honorable Al LiCata and Long Hill P.B.A. Officer Gary Bauer, and much more.
Tickets are only $20, and all seats are ringside. Ticket are available locally by calling (908) 339-5937, or by calling the NPWS box office at (732) 888-1704. All major charge cards are accepted.
