AEW stars Miro and CJ Perry are no longer a couple.
Speaking to TMZ, Perry said: “Miro and I have made the difficult decision to separate after many wonderful years together, and have decided to move on as friends, and hopefully onscreen characters somewhere down the road.”
Although they have separated neither has of yet filed for divorce but Miro has moved back to Bulgaria.
In the WWE, Miro as Rusev would adopt Perry (Lana) as his “social ambassador” and later his manager. In 2014, news of their real-life engagement caused the pair headaches in the WWE as that reality played against their current storyline. Miro and Perry were married in 2016.
Their marriage would often become part of WWE angles including an infamous love triangle with Bobby Lashley.
During his last appearance in AEW, Miro feuded with Andrade who was Perry’s new business interest, partner. That feud culminated with a match at AEW Worlds End in December of last year. Miro was reportedly injured and hasn’t been seen on AEW TV since that match.
