In a interview with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Kenny Omega says he is returning to wrestle not for AEW but for NJPW. He mentions 3 points:
Point 1: He owes a debt to New Japan for allowing him to become the star that he is
Point 2. He doesn’t wanna take a TV spot away from someone in AEW
Point 3. He doesn’t think AEW needs him right now
He said he will eventually come back with AEW when the time is right, but for now he will be wrestling in NJPW.
