A former pro wrestler suspected of sexual assault on a child in Colorado turned himself in at the Clay County Sheriff’s Office just after noon Wednesday.
In March, investigators with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office obtained an warrant for 56-year-old Stephen Nathaniel Ketcher.
According to the MCSO, Ketcher was spotted in a casino in Orange Park in late March. Deputies obtained a photo (picture on the right) of Ketcher confirming he was in the area.
Clay County authorities say Ketcher walked into the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office at 12:15 p.m. and told the receptionist he was wanted on a warrant.
He was to be processed into the Clay County Jail and held pending extradition to Colorado on seven counts of sexual assault of a child.
Ketcher was known to have experience as an over-the-road truck driver, primarily driving between Denver and Ohio in the past. Investigators said he left Colorado in February and hasn’t returned.
Ketcher abandoned his last semi-truck earlier this year and was believed to be driving a 1995 white Ford Aerostar, with Colorado plates.
