WWF World Championship Scene: (currently held by: Randy Savage)
On the September 14th edition of Primetime Wrestling, Ric Flair regained the WWF World Championship by defeating Randy Savage in Hershey, PA. The match saw Savage wrestle with a bad leg and have to fight off interference from both Mr. Perfect and Razor Ramon. Ramon came out during the match and kicked Savage’s bad leg. This would spark a feud between the two men moving forward.

Flair defended the championship on the house show market against mainly the Undertaker, which he would lose by count-out. Ric did defend the championship in Japan against Genichiro Tenryu in a best two out of three falls match. The match ended in a 1-1 draw as the third fall ended in a double count-out. Flair also had defenses against Bret Hart, Randy Savage and the Ultimate Warrior.
