APW TAG CHAMPS: DA FIREMAN & SETH DELAY

NORTH GEORGIA CHAMP: SCOTT MASON

SOUTHERN STATES CHAMP: JEREMY VAIN

Friday night, April 19th, 2013. Alternative Pro Wrestling presented it’s springtime tradition super card known as the Spring Break Bash.

It was an awesome night of action, including the crowning of two new champions, and awesome rivalry and grudge matches that took place.

Damien Steele def. “Venomous” Jaxon Carter by pin fall in 10:04

The team of Shane Hexxon, Josh Bowie and “The Average Joe” Michael Fehherty def. the team of Ballenger, Shawn Adams and Jean’ Pierre by pin fall in 8:04, with Hexxon scoring the victory.

Next was an interview played on the APW screen between former “dude” Chris Spectra and Michael Gentry. Spectra vowed to def. his former partner and best friend Jeremy Cruz later in the evening.

Chris Spectra def. Jeremy Cruz by pin fall in 7:49

-After the match, it looked like Spectra wanted to bury the hatchet once and for all with Cruz by extending his hand. Cruz looking astonished stuck his hand out to accept the handshake. When it looked like the dudes were back together, Spectra takes Cruz by the head and tossed him out of the ring, getting a huge pop from the fans. I guess the dudes are officially, no more.

APW North Georgia Championship

Scott Mason def. Wade Adams(c) by pin fall in 10:00 to become the new APW North Georgia Champion

Questionable tactics to win, holding the ropes.

APW Tag Team Championship

Hot Commodity(C.B. Suave’ and “The Italian Stallion” Tommy Pennireli) def. Da Fireman and “King” Seth Delay by pin fall in 13:32 to become the new APW Tag Team Champions.

Intermission

James Blvd def. “The Sin City Saint” Brandon Parker by DQ in 8:59 when Parker ignored the official’s 5 count in a corner. Continuing after the bell to pummel Blvd until Blvd was able to escape. I have a feeling this rivalry is far from over.

Tag Team Main Event

The team of “The Lethal Dose” Stryknyn and the “Untouchable” Jeremy Vain def. the team of the APW Commissioner Jacob Ashworth, and the APW Southern States Heavyweight Champion “The Alabama Ambassador” Jacoby Boykins by pin fall in 25:38

-An awesome match overall, alot of physicality and high drama. Action spilled to the outside of the ring on a few occasions. Eventually though it was Vain getting the pin fall victory for his team. Post-match, Boykins and Ashworth attack Stryk and Vain unaware. At one point they zip tie Stryk to the ring post on the outside leaving him helpless while Vain takes a beating. Ashworth then takes a chair, and begins to beat Stryk unmercifully, until he eventually hits him one good time on the head, smacking it ferociously against the post, knocking him unconscious. Damien Steele then runs out with a chair of his own to chase off Boykins and Ashworth, who seemed more than happy with winning the war, instead of the battle. Officials come to cut the zip tie and free Stryknyn, Vain goes to him dejected and tired from the match. Overall a good event for APW.

2001 Main Street

Porterdale, Georgia 30070

(20 East, Go right off of Exit 88, 3.5 miles go left at the four-way stop, building is on the left side of the street)

PCW 4/20/13

Platinum Championship Wrestling put on a great show in Porterdale, GA. The crowd was on fire, and the building was packed.

Demigod Mason returned this week in action against JAM, Coach Fred Avery’s minion. Mason won the match. Coach is very disappointed in his minion. No idea if he plans on firing him or not. Coach needs to get rid of that whistle, stop calling time outs, and focus on really training his minions.

Tag team action was hot in Porterdale this week.  3 matches on the card were tag team contests. Geter and Brian Blaze took on a new team called The Movement. The Movement was accompanied by Priority Males manager Quasi Mandisco. The crowd reluctantly supported Geter and Blaze which led to chants of “Let’s go Brian, This is awkward” and “Lesser Evil.” Geter and Blaze won the match.

Sylar Cross and Chip Day took on God’s Gift to Wrestling. The audience yelled Gut Check Reject at Adams, who is actually in the voting bracket for TNA Gutcheck. He’s in bracket 15 which will be voted on in late May. Check Impactwrestling.com to vote for him and other Gut Check contestants. Sylar and Chip got the win here, and the audience roared in approval.

Worst Case Scenario took on the Washington Bullets. Porterdale loves the Bullets. Worst case scenario cheated to get the win during this match.

The highlight of the evening was the main event match between Supernatural and Jagged Edge. Miss Rachel hit Supernatural with a chair, but Supernatural managed to kick out. Jagged Edge hit him with a chain, but he managed to kick out. Everything the wicked Jagged Edge tried to do him could not keep him down. When Rachel interfered, an old lady in the audience got up in her face, and security had to intervene. I cannot stress this enough, when you are at a wrestling show, you can say whatever you want to the talent, but you cannot touch them. They are not supposed to touch you either. Scream, yell, insult, but don’t put your hands on anyone. Supernatural retained his PCW title showing that size and strength are less important than perseverance and heart.

New DVD “The Montreal Theory” Questions The Official Story of the Montreal Screwjob

Sorgatron Media, in association with Outsource Announcing, is proud to present what can best be described as a “DocuShoot”. Do we know the whole story of The Montreal Screwjob? Do you believe it? Have you always thought things just didn’t add up, or were a little too perfect or convenient, or there has to be more that meets the eye? Think it’s far-fetched? It’s more realistic than you think! Whatever you think, watch this DVD and form your own “Theory”!

Full synopsis:

On November 9, 1997 in Montreal Quebec, Canada, pro wrestling changed forever when the infamous “Montreal Screwjob” took place. Bret Hart, days before leaving the WWF for rival WCW, refused to lose the WWF Title to Shawn Michaels at the event. As a result, a plan was concocted by Vince McMahon and a select few others to take the title off of Bret by any means necessary, and do what was best for the WWF’s business. That meant scripting a double-disqualification ending to the Bret vs. Shawn Title match, only for Vince to go off-script and demand the match be stopped while Shawn had Bret in Bret’s own submission hold. The claim was Shawn beat Bret by submission, and once he realized what had happened, Bret went ballistic, and the rest is history. A TON has been written about this incident over the past fifteen years, but do we really know everything?? This has been analyzed to death every which way by every person possible… except for one scenario… what if Bret was secretly in on it too?

For the first time ever, we’ve assembled a team of experts from every era, company & job title in professional wrestling to debate & discuss an issue so controversial that many have refused to talk about it. There has never been a DVD definitively recapping the 18-month dramatic saga leading up to Montreal blow-by-blow in detail until now!

In Part 1, we’ll go back in time and tell you the entire sordid story as it unfolded and with all the details that have long been presented to us as facts. Locker room fights, contract disputes, politics, egos, and all of the chaos that led us to that fateful November night.

In Part 2, we take that story & turn it upside down. We’ll present new evidence, often overlooked facts, theories & memories from those who studied it, those who watched it unfold, and those who were there live backstage to officially create “The Montreal Theory” – a scenario that introduces the possibility that Bret could have secretly been a part of – or even orchestrator of – everything, and the short and long term benefits that everyone experienced because of it.

Do you think what we’ve been told about Montreal is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? Are you a skeptic that thinks there’s more to this story than meets the eye? No matter what your stance is, listen closely to “The Montreal Theory” and form your own conclusions along with our panel!
