Wrestling's Most Incredible Steel Cage Matches
Description: Wrestling's Most Incredible Steel Cage Matches dvd is very interesting. For the younger generation who isn't aware of matches or feuds from the past, this dvd gives you a look at the past. For the ones who are old enough to remember certain matches or feuds, this is a trip back in time to enjoy the matches again.
The dvd itself, shows 15 steel cage matches, from 1979 to 2002. All of which are only highlights, they did well enough with editing to show you all the major parts of those matches. Six of the matches are on the extras as the full matches. I think that they may have put this together kind of fast however. For some reason Isaac Yankem vs Bret Hart made the dvd in the 15 matches, but not Rikishi vs Val Venis from Fully loaded 2000 or even Chris Jericho vs Edge from Smackdown 2002.

The extras have matches like Bruno Sammartino vs Ivan Koloff, Bob Backlund vs Stan Hansen, Ric Flair vs Dusty Rhodes, Rock 'n' Roll Express vs Arn and Ole Anderson and Shawn Michaels vs Marty Jannetty. To have NWA matches on this dvd is really unique and well done by the WWE. Yet I think they should have included at least one ECW cage match. Evan Luna vs Stevie Richards from 1995 for various reasons. One so it can show how unique it is to have a woman vs a man in a cage, and two, just so people can witness Tommy Dreamer hitting Raven in the head with the chair.

For some hidden easter eggs, if you click on the Flair vs Garvin match, you can see the first cage match they had 2 months earlier where Ronnie Garvin defeated Ric Flair to become NWA World Champion. As well on the Sammartino and Zybszko one you can see the feud that led up to the cage match at Shea Stadium. For Snuka and Muraco you can see how that feud got started and on Owen and Bret you can see Owen Hart's interview in the cage on Superstars the weekend of Summer Slam 94.
Rating: Overall I give this dvd a 8/10. It could have been a perfect score if they changed a few things. Yet it is worth buying. No doubt about it.
