A video kicks off the event that highlights the big matches we’ll be seeing on tonight’s NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff.
Noam Dar vs. Travis Banks
The bell rings, and they circle the ring before locking up. Dar powers him to the corner and gives a clean break before taunting him. They lock up again, and Banks now powers dar to the corner. Dar quickly shoves him before putting himself between the ropes to keep him back. Dar grabs the arm and wrenches it. Banks twists out, kips up, and reverses the pressure on Dar. Dar backs him into the ropes before hitting a snapmare. Dar hits the ropes and picks the leg of Banks. Dar goes for an ankle lock, but Banks gets out. Dar trips him, but Banks soon sweeps the feet and goes for a kick. Dar gets away and poses. Banks sends him into the ropes, but Dar slides out of the ring. Banks quickly gets on the apron and hits Dar with a running kick to the face. Banks gets him in the ring for a two count.
Banks gets Dar up, but Dar quickly catches him with a crotch-first slam on the top rope. Dar then comes off the second rope with a clothesline for a two count. Dar talks some trash and slaps the head. Banks fights back, but Dar quickly snaps him into the ropes for a two count. Dar puts him in the corner and starts working on the arm. Banks soon makes a comeback by kicking him down and hitting a bridging German Suplex for a near fall. Banks goes for a double stomp off the top rope, but Dar moves. Dar grabs a waistlock, but Banks turns it. Dar drops down and kicks away at Banks’ head before trying for a submission. Banks fights it and gets out. Banks takes Dar down and tries for a modified crossface, but Dar rolls to the ropes. Banks gets him to his feet, and Dar slaps him in the face. Banks angrily charges, but Dar moves. Dar attacks and hits a fisherman buster for a near fall. Banks quickly hits him with a kick before trying for a springboard kick, but Dar counters into an ankle lock/knee bar combo. Banks rolls through and sits up. They trade punches and wipe each other out. Dar soon knocks Banks to the apron and kicks him to the floor. Dar sends him into the stairs before getting him in the ring for a big clothesline, but Banks kicks out. Dar kicks away at Banks before putting on the brakes. Banks dropkicks him back and hits a double stomp for a two count.
Dar rolls to the floor to recover, but Banks quickly takes him out with a suicide dive. Banks gets him up, but Dar quickly stuns him with a move. Dar goes to send him into the barricade, but Banks leaps off (kind of) with a Slice of Heaven. Banks nearly slipped off the barricade there. Banks gets him in the ring for a near fall. They trade forearms and kicks in the ring before Banks wipes him out with a spinning forearm. Dar sidesteps a charge in the corner before hitting a bicycle kick. Banks makes a comeback with a knee to the face. Banks leaps to the second rope, but Dar immediately kicks him in the knee. Dar quickly follows up with a Nova Roller for the win.

Cesaro is being interviewed backstage. Cesaro has issued an open challenge to anyone in the NXT UK locker room. Cesaro says he doesn’t care who it is. He’s just here for a fight. Ilja Dragunov steps up before walking off.
Ilja Dragunov makes his entrance. Dragunov says he is here and waiting for Cesaro.
Ilja Dragunov vs. Cesaro
The bell rings, and Dragunov quickly big boots Cesaro. Dragunov chops him, but Cesaro comes back with some big chops of his own. Cesaro hooks a side headlock, but Dragunov whips him off. Cesaro shoulder blocks him down, but Dragunov soon comes back with a forearm. Dragunov charges, but Cesaro catches him. Dragunov slides out, avoids an uppercut, and poses. An “NXT” chant picks up. Cesaro simply responds with a big uppercut. Dragunov comes back with some chops, a big boot, and takes him down before hitting a senton splash for a one count. Cesaro quickly gets to his feet, catches Dragunov like he’s a baby, and wildly tosses him over the top rope to the floor!
Cesaro press slams him onto the barricade before putting him back in the ring. Cesaro takes him down for a near fall. Cesaro applies a chin lock, but Dragunov elbows out. Dragunov hits the ropes, but Cesaro hooks a sleeper hold before hitting a back suplex for a near fall. Cesaro goes for a swing, but Dragunov drags himself to the bottom rope to avoid it. Cesaro then hits a guillotine catapult into the ropes. Cesaro stomps him before applying a chin lock. Dragunov fights up, but Cesaro pushes him into the ropes. Cesaro lowers his head and eats a kick. Cesaro quickly comes back with a sleeper hold, but Dragunov quickly takes him down. Cesaro then grabs him and executes his Cesaro Swing. The crowd loves that. The crowd counts to 40 before Cesaro lets go! Cesaro takes a moment to catch his breath before covering, but Dragunov kicks out. Cesaro immediately transitions into a crossface for a two count. Dragunov fights the pain and rolls through after a few moments. Dragunov clotheslines him down before hitting a springboard double knee. Dragunov counters an uppercut and goes for a backslide, but Cesaro fights it. Dragunov does a step-up enzuigiri that misses pretty bad, but Cesaro sells it. Dragunov lifts Cesaro and hits a suplex. Cesaro rolls out of the ring to recover, but Dragunov catches him with a suicide dive. Dragunov gets him in the ring, goes to the top rope, nearly falls, and leaps off with a dropkick for a near fall. They lock hands, and Dragunov viciously chops him down. Cesaro crushes him with a big GTS for a near fall. Cesaro angrily follows up with a huge running uppercut for another near fall.
Cesaro grabs him and goes for a spinning uppercut, but Dragunov counters into a backslide pin for a two count. Dragunov knees him in the face and hits a big Death Valley Driver into the corner that just about spikes Cesaro on his neck. The crowd chants, “This is awesome.” Dragunov comes off the top rope with a senton splash for a near fall. Dragunov gets pumped up and charges, but Cesaro takes him out with A Very European Uppercut. Cesaro follows up with a Gotch Neutralizer for the win.
Winner by Pinfall: Cesaro
Cesaro comes back in the ring and motions like he is going to give Dragunov an uppercut. Cesaro then stops and shakes Dragunov’s hand before hugging him. The crowd chants, “NXT” while Cesaro leaves.

Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster vs. Gallus vs. Grizzled Young Veterans (c’s)
Zack Gibson starts out against Mark Andrews. Gibson takes him down, but Andrews bridges up. Andrews rolls him up for a two count before hitting an arm drag, but Gibson quickly grounds him. James Drake tags in, but Andrews hits an arm drag. Flash Morgan Webster tags in. They take Drake down and hit stereo standing moonsaults for a one count. Andrews quickly tags back in and hits a low dropkick to the face for a two count. Wolfgang tags himself in on Andrews and punches away at Drake. Gibson quickly pulls his partner Drake out of the ring. Drake gets in the ring and tags Webster in. Wolfgang sends him into the ropes and lifts him, but Webster dropkicks him. Webster goes for a roll-up, but it’s broken up. All six men get in the ring and square off with no contact. An “NXT” chant picks up. Mark Coffey tags in and takes Webster down. Andrews tags in, as does Gibson. Webster and Andrews hit a double moonsault off the apron. Wolfgang breaks up a pin. Drake tags in, and the Grizzled Young Veterans take Webster down for a two count. Drake punches Webster out of the ring before tagging Gibson in. They hit a double-team backbreaker/plancha outside the ring. Gibson gets Webster in the ring and slams him for a near fall. Gibson applies a chin lock, but Webster fights up. Drake tags in and forearms Webster down. Drake hits Webster with a backbreaker for a near fall. Drake tags in and applies a submission. Mark Coffey tags in, but Webster flips through a slam. Coffey is kicked away, and Gibson tags himself in. Gibson grabs Webster and knocks him to the corner. Gibson talks trash to Wolfgang. Webster then tags Andrews in.
Andrews punches Gibson before knocking Drake down. Andrews hits Gibson with a roll-up before leaping onto Drake with a tornado DDT. Coffey and Wolfgang cut Andrews off, but he comes back with a double back kick. Andrews and Webster then hit Gallus with stereo summersault sentons. They then repeat the move on the Grizzled Young Veterans. Webster takes Coffey out before hitting Gibson with an assisted splash, but Drake breaks it up. Webster quickly takes the Grizzled Young Veterans down, but Coffey runs in. Coffey takes Webster and Andrews down. Coffey apparently got a tag in at some point. Wolfgang tags in. They hit Andrews with a catapult into a slam for a near fall. Wolfgang lifts Andrews. Webster quickly hits Coffey with a cross-body block. Webster then knee strikes Wolfgang before Andrews spikes him on his head with a reverse hurricanrana for a near fall!
Webster hits Coffey with a suicide dive. Andrews is crotched on the top rope by Coffey. Coffey goes for a superplex to the floor, but Andrews knocks him to the floor. Andrews then hits a shooting star press to the floor onto Wolfgang and Gibson! Wow! Andrews gets in the ring, and Gibson clotheslines him down. Gibson goes for a suplex, but Andrews counters into a stunner. Webster hits a senton bomb off the top rope on Gibson. Andrews covers, but Gibson somehow kicks out. Gibson rolls Andrews up with the tights, but Andrews kicks out. Drake runs in and hits Andrews with an enzuigiri. Gibson hits Helter Skelter before Drake hits a 450 splash. Gibson covers, but Andrews kicks out to a HUGE ovation. The crowd is going wild. Drake tags in, but Webster rolls in and hits the Grizzled Young Veterans with a double head-butt.
Gallus is on their feet at ringside. Wolfgang splashes Webster. Coffey tags in and chokeslams Drake. Wolfgang spears Andrews and sends him out of the ring. Gallus gets pumped up, and Wolfgang sends Coffey over the top rope onto the competitors. Coffey grabs Andrews in the ring. Wolfgang and Coffey slam Andrews, but Webster breaks it up. A big brawl breaks out between all three teams. Gallus is left standing. They go for a double-team on Webster, but Webster counters Coffey with a Canadian Destroyer! The Grizzled Young Veterans then murder Wolfgang with a Doomsday Device/suicide dive on the floor! Wow!
The crowd is chanting, “This is awesome!” The Grizzled Young Veterans are in the ring with Webster and Andrews. The crowd is absolutely buzzing. Drake tags himself in on Coffey. They get all pumped up and a hockey fight breaks out. Andrews hits a double Stun Dog Millionaire. Webster tags in and hits Drake with a 630. Gibson quickly pulls the referee out of the ring before the count of 3! The crowd is loudly booing. Andrews goes for a plancha, but Gibson hits him in the throat. Gibson tags in, and they hit the Ticket to Mayhem! Drake then hits Gallus with a suicide dive. Gibson covers Webster, but Andrews crushes him with a shooting star press. Andrews turns Webster onto Gibson for the win!
Winners and new NXT UK Tag Team Champions: Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster
Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster celebrate big time in the crowd. The crowd is going absolutely wild for the new champions.

Dave Mastiff vs. Joe Coffey
Mastiff greets Coffey on the ramp and punches him. Mastiff gets him in the ring, and Coffey fights back. Mastiff quickly clubs him down, but Coffey comes right back with some punches that send him to a knee. Mastiff picks him up, but Coffey slides off. Mastiff viciously sends him into the corner, and the top turnbuckle breaks off! The top rope is completely wiped out! Mastiff uses the broken turnbuckle to hit Coffey and puts it in his mouth to rip away at it. Coffey fights back and goes for a springboard off the second rope, but he slips and falls to the mat.
They’re trying to think of their feet here. Coffey fights back and hits Mastiff with a suplex. Mastiff quickly gets up to his feet and turns Coffey inside out with a German Suplex. Coffey falls to the floor and gets up at 3. Coffey quickly sends Mastiff into the barricade before grabbing a pool cue. Coffey hits Mastiff with it before going under the ring for a bag. The bag says “Gallus” on it. Coffey pours the contends out on the floor. Coffey sends Mastiff into the barricade again before pulling a table out from under the ring. Coffey leans it on the barricade, but Mastiff comes up and slams Coffey onto the weapons. Mastiff grabs a cricket bat, but Coffey ducks it and punches him down. Coffey hits him with the pool cue before breaking it over his back. That could have been dangerous for the crowd. Mastiff fights back with a punch to the ear. Mastiff then smashes him in the back with the cricket bat. Coffey fights to his feet, so Mastiff hits him again with the bat. Mastiff charges, but Coffey leapfrogs him. Coffey then pushes Mastiff through the table with a Glasgow Spear. Mastiff gets up at 7. Coffey grabs a steel chain and charges, but Mastiff hits him with a German Suplex on the floor. Coffey is up at 5. Mastiff grabs the chain and whips it off Coffey a few times. Another table is set up on the barricade. Coffey grabs the chain, but Mastiff hits him with a running cannonball through the new table at ringside. Coffey gets to his feet at the count of 9 before falling into the crowd.
Mastiff follows him into the crowd and smacks him in the back with a steel chair. Coffey soon avoids it and clotheslines Mastiff with the chain. Both are up at 9. Mastiff is holding two steel chairs, and they’re just staring at each other. Mastiff then tosses a chair to Coffey. Coffey backs up. They both charge and wipe each other out with the chairs. They’re both up at 9 again. Mastiff charges, but Coffey sidesteps him. Mastiff then hip tosses him over the barricade near the commentary table. Mastiff clears off the table and puts Coffey on his shoulders. Mastiff then hits Coffey with a fireman’s carry senton on the table! Both are up at 8. They climb a platform that was used for the pre-show. A light “Please don’t die” chant picks up. They duke it out on the platform. Mastiff goes for a suplex off the platform, but Coffey fights it. Mastiff head-butts him, and they both fall off the platform through two tables that happened to be there. Coffey gets to his feet, but barely. Coffey then kicks a crate Mastiff was using to pull himself up to keep him off his feet. Coffey is the Last Man Standing.

Kay Lee Ray vs. Toni Storm (c)
The bell rings, and Kay Lee Ray gets out of the ring and taunts Toni Storm. Storm quickly takes her out with a dive before punching and sending her into the barricade. Storm gets her in the ring and goes for the Storm Zero, but Ray gets out. Storm quickly punches away at her before taking her down and kicking her in the back. Storm kicks her to the apron and stomps her. Ray quickly shoulders her and kicks her back. Ray kicks her in the face before stomping away at her. Ray chokes her on the ropes before putting her in the corner. Ray chops the chest before hitting a snapmare and applying an abdominal stretch. Storm fights it, so Ray slams her. Ray hits a front suplex for a two count. Ray viciously clubs Storm down, and Storm is now crying. Storm ducks some right hands and quickly takes Ray down with some clubs. Ray avoids a German Suplex and jumps over her. Storm kicks her before clotheslining her. Storm hits a German Suplex before hitting a running clothesline. Storm now looks like she was never crying. Storm goes for Storm Zero, but Ray fights it. Storm counters with a sunset flip bomb for a near fall. Ray catches her with an inside cradle for a two count. Storm stuns her with a head-butt before hitting the Storm Zero for a near fall. Storm cannot believe it. Ray superkicks her and hits a Gory Bomb for a near fall. Ray puts Storm on the top rope and slaps her. Storm fights her off and goes for Storm Zero off the top rope, but Ray blocks it. Ray goes for a slam, but Storm lands on her feet. Storm then hits a German Suplex off the second rope for a near fall. Ray gets out of the ring, and Storm hits her with a nice suicide dive. Storm gets her in the ring and gets on the apron, but Ray knees her in the face. Ray goes for a summersault senton off the top rope and nearly spikes herself on her head! Yikes! Ray gets her in the ring, and Storm head-butts the midsection. Ray superkicks her and hits a Gory Bomb onto the top rope. Ray hits another Gory Bomb in the center of the ring for the win.

The crowd is buzzing for this match. The bell rings, and they lock up. Walter powers him into the ropes. Bate gets out and kicks him. They circle the ring, and Walter tries to corner him. Bate gets away and wrenches the arm. Walter grabs him by the face and goes for a club. Bate gets away and hits him with some quick kicks to the leg. They lock hands and do a test of strength. A “Big Strong Boy” chant picks up. Walter powers him down, but Bate bridges up. Walter jumps on him to keep him down, but Bate bridges up with Walter on top of him. Bate fights up and turns Walter into the ropes before forearming him. Bate smirks before Walter grabs him and forearms him in the corner. Bate fights out and kicks him a few times. Walter quickly takes him down with a headlock takeover. Walter cinches in the headlock. Bate tries to fight up, but Walter keeps him down. The crowd is taunting Walter. Bate fights up and tries to lift him, but Walter takes him down. Bate gets away and goes for a Tyler Driver 97, but Walter gets out of that. Bate soon hits Walter with a scoop slam before head-butting him out of the ring. The crowd is going crazy. Bate hits Walter with some dropkicks upon entering the ring. Walter swats the third one away. Walter goes for a slam, but Bate holds on. Walter bounces him in the corner, but Bate slides off. Bate then hits him with a hurricanrana that sends him out of the ring. Bate goes for a suicide dive, but Walter catches him and slams him into the apron. Walter then powerbombs him onto the apron!
Walter gets in the ring to stop the count. Walter goes outside, and Bate kicks him. Walter stops him and hits a powerbomb into the ring post! The referee quickly runs out to check on Bate. Walter wants the referee to begin counting. A ringside doctor comes to check on Bate. Bate insists that he is ok and gets in the ring. Walter slams Bate down, and the crowd is singing. Walter kicks him in the back. Bate starts to fight back, but Walter kicks him in the head. Walter now applies a chin lock. Bate fights up, so Walter kicks him to take him back down. Walter applies a sleeper hold, but Bate gets to the ropes. Walter tries to pull him off, but Bate clubs him in the face. Bate goes to lift Walter, but he collapses from exhaustion. Walter quickly clubs him and applies a crossface. Bate fights up, so Walter clubs him down and knocks him out of the ring. Bate gets into the ring at the count of 8. Walter quickly stands on him and pulls on the arms. Bate fights up, but Walter stops him before head-butting him. Walter pulls back on the arms. Bate fights him off and kicks him back, but Walter immediately responds with a cannonball to the midsection. Walter quickly boots him in the face before chopping him down. Walter wildly chops him and talks some trash. Bate responds with a chop, which only serves to anger Walter. Walter scoops him up and puts him on the top rope. Walter then positions him in between the turnbuckles and stretches him! Walter goes for a powerbomb onto the apron, but Bate holds the ropes. Bate goes for a slam off the apron, but Walter fights it. Bate then hits him with an exploder off the apron to the floor!
Bate gets Walter in the ring and hits a slingshot leg drop before hitting two more leg drops. Bate uppercuts Walter to the corner before going for a whip, but Walter sends him to the corner. Bate elbows him and goes for a diving back elbow, but Walter chops him out of mid-air. Walter applies a Boston crab. Walter turns it into a liontamer, but soon lets it go. Walter applies a big chin lock, but Bate gets his foot on the bottom rope. Walter chops him down and circles Bate in the ring. Walter goes for a suplex, but Bate blocks it. Walter punches, but Bate fights it. Bate now tries to suplex Walter, but he can’t get him up. Walter gets out and chops him down. Walter goes for a suplex, but Bate knees him in the head. Bate goes for the suplex, but he still can’t get Walter up. Bate finally digs down deep and hits Walter with a big suplex. The crowd is singing. Bate uppercuts away at Walter, and Walter is staggering. Bate hits Walter with a clothesline, but Walter doesn’t go down. Bate hits two more for the same result. Bate gets pumped up, but Walter forearms him. Bate quickly responds with a rolling kick to the head. Bate goes for a German Suplex, but Walter is too heavy. Bate then hits him with an exploder suplex. Bate kips up and hits a standing shooting star press for a near fall.
The crowd is chanting, “This is awesome.” Bate goes for the Tyler Drive ’97, but Walter fights out. Bate counters an uppercut into a backslide attempt. Walter flips through it, but Bate quickly goes for the Tyler Driver ’97. Walter counters with a back body drop before dropkicking him into the corner. Walter goes for a powerbomb, but Bate counters into a big roll-up for a near fall! The crowd chants, “This is wrestling.” Bate takes his time setting Walter up and goes to the top rope. Walter rolls to the apron before anything happens. They have a staredown before slugging it out. Walter climbs to the middle rope to greet Bate. Bate signals for a superplex to the floor, but Walter fights it. Walter clubs him and steps onto the apron. Walter then viciously chops him off the top rope to the mat. Walter goes to the top rope, but Bate stuns him with a jumping head-butt. Bate climbs the ropes, snaps Walter’s fingers, and hits a super exploder off the top rope for a near fall! The crowd is singing Tyler Bate’s name to the tune of “Baby Give It Up”. They trade blows before Bate kicks Walter in the knee and twists the ankle. Walter quickly forearms him down. Bate responds with a flurry of forearms, but Walter punches him down. Walter then grabs his injured fingers that Bate dislocated moments ago. Walter chops away at him, but Bate absorbs them. Bate then head-butts him, but Walter falls on top of Bate unconscious. Bate is trapped under the weight of Walter. Bate eventually gets out from under him. They trade blows before Walter hits him with a flurry of palm strikes. Walter hits a suplex, but Bate gets up. Bate then lifts him for an airplane spin. Bate puts him on the top rope and lifts Walter for a torture rack. Bate then hits a burning hammer! Bate crawls over slowly, but Walter slowly rolls away and leaves the ring.
The crowd chants, “Fight forever.” Bate kicks Walter in the face from the ring before hitting him with a suicide dive bulldog. Bate gets in the ring and hits Walter with a diving plancha. Bate gets him in the ring and goes for a German Suplex. Bate connects with it and bridges up, but Walter kicks out. Bate goes for the Tyler Driver ’97, but Walter fights out. Bate bridges up and hits the Tyler Driver ’97, but Walter kicks out! Bate goes to the top rope for a corkscrew senton, but Walter still kicks out. Bate cannot believe it. Bate wildly punches away at Walter, and Walter seems to be fading. Walter all of a sudden explodes with a right hand and some chops before booting him down. Walter applies a Gojira Clutch, but Bate fights up with Walter on his back! A “Big Strong Boy” chant fires up. Bate then hits a backpack slam! Walter immediately sits up and reapplies the Gojira Clutch. Bate fights up and goes to the apron. Walter chops him and puts a sleeper hold on, but Bate pulls him over the ropes to the apron. Bate elbows him off, but Walter viciously chops him in the upper back. Walter then hits a reverse neck trap suplex on the apron! Walter gets him in the ring, goes to the top rope, and hits a big top rope splash… but Bate kicks out! Walter quickly hits him with another neck trap suplex, but Bate kicks out again! An “NXT” chant fires up. Walter punches away at him and chops the chest. Walter hits a vicious powerbomb, but Bate kicks out at one! Walter is absolutely stunned, and the crowd is absolutely going wild. Walter chops the chest and turns him inside out with a vicious clothesline for the win.

WALTER celebrates with Imperium on the stage before walking off. Tyler Bate gets on his knees in the ring while the crowd cheers him on. Trent Seven and former WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne get in the ring to check on Bate. They help Bate up and raise his arms up.
