Adam’s Thoughts: Pretty average match between Becky Lynch and Mickie James. Crowd was definitely into the match, but it just never really seemed to work up to a good pace. The commentary was borderline distracting during this entire match with lots of awkward pauses. This four man commentary team idea needs to go, fast.

Adam’s Thoughts: Very good tag team turmoil match tonight. The attack by Usos after they lost was great and setup an easy win for The Ascension only for American Alpha to overcome the odds. It’s too bad the crowd went completely mild in Phoenix.

Adam’s Thoughts: Pretty good match between Nikki Bella and Natalya tonight. Natalya is just a terrible heel. Does just about every stereotype of a pro wrestling villain in the ring. Adam’s Thoughts: Awesome match. This was without a doubt a star making and stand out performance by Luke Harper tonight. He badly needed a match like this to keep the train rolling with what looks to be a singles run on the Smackdown brand.

Adam’s Overall Thoughts: A really good Elimination Chamber match tonight after a two year break from seeing this match in WWE. They did some really good stuff in this match like having Baron Corbin go on a tear and then slip on the banana peel with Dean Ambrose eliminating him. Even Miz got to have some fun with the Ambrose elimination and going on a quick offense burst. The John Cena elimination came off great in Phoenix. I’m a complete sucker for the moment where a champion gets pinned and a new one is about to get crowned. As great of a year as Styles has had in WWE, it was an excellent call to finally pull the trigger and go with Bray Wyatt as WWE Champion. After a near four year run on the main roster, it’s great to see Wyatt get a run and what a way to do that heading into WrestleMania. Really good effort from the Smackdown brand tonight. RAW has a tough show to follow up in a few weeks with Fastlane.
Thanks for joining us tonight!
