“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.
A video recaps the events from last week until NXT Champion Adam Cole interrupts it. Cole says he hopes the three men destroy each other tonight. All they’ve done is punch a ticket to lose to the greatest NXT Champion ever. He’s far from finished and that is undisputed.
NXT Cruiserweight Championship
Angel Garza vs. Lio Rush (c)
While the ring announcements are being made, Lio Rush attacks Angel Garza. The referee pulls Rush back, and Garza smiles at him.
The bell rings, and they start throwing punches. Rush takes Garza down and punches away at him. Garza gets him into the ropes, but Rush rolls him up. Garza kicks out and tackles him out of the ring. Rush sends him into the ring steps. Rush gets on the apron, but Garza viciously pulls him off. Rush’s face slams against the ring apron. Garza gets him in the ring and covers, but Rush kicks out.
Garza goes to rip his pants off, but Rush stops him. Rush hits the ropes and jukes him a few times before kicking him in the head. Rush goes for a Come Up, but Garza avoids it and dropkicks him in the face for a two count. Garza ties Rush’s legs up in the corner and slaps him a few times before delivering a superkick for a near fall. Rush comes back with some punches, and Garza punches back. Rush knees him in the midsection and goes for an unprettier, but Garza gets out. Garza then leapfrogs him neck-first into the ropes.
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Rush fight up from a full nelson and get to the ropes. Garza goes for a wheelbarrow, but Rush counters into a roll-up for a two count. Rush hits a flying double head-scissor takeover. Rush kicks him in the face and goes for a springboard hurricanrana, but Garza catches him. Garza goes to powerbomb him out of the ring, but Rush holds the top rope and sends Garza out of the ring. Rush then does a moonsault plancha from the inside of the ring to the outside!
Rush gets Garza in the ring and takes him down for a near fall. Rush goes for a Come Up, but Garza avoids it. Garza then hits Rush with the Come Up for a near fall! Garza goes for a big reverse suplex, but Rush counters into a body press for a two count. Rush sets Garza up in the corner and climbs the ropes, but Garza grabs the legs. Garza connects with an enzuigiri, and Rush is out on the top rope. Garza gets pushed off, but he quickly runs up the ropes and hits Rush with an avalanche Spanish Fly for a near fall! The crowd is coming unglued.
They trade punches from their knees before slapping each other in the face multiple times. Garza gets pumped up, but Rush kicks him in the head. Garza responds with a superkick, and they both fall at the same time on their faces. A LOUD” NXT” chant picks up. Rush gets out of a Wing Clipper and hits Garza with the Wing Clipper for a near fall! Rush wildly clubs away at the back and goes for a kick, but Garza gets him in the electric chair. Garza goes to slam him into the ropes, but Rush counters into the Come Up for a near fall! Rush hits the Final Hour, but Garza starts to crawl away. Rush goes to grab him, but Garza’s pants rip off as he falls to the floor. Rush then goes to the top rope for a Final Hour to the floor, but Garza gets the knees up! Garza gets him in the ring and hits the Wing Clipper… but Rush kicks out! Garza immediately applies a reverse full nelson, and Rush taps out!
Winner by Submission and new NXT Cruiserweight Champion: Angel Garza
Angel Garza celebrates big time with his NXT Cruiserweight Championship. Garza is the first Mexican-born Cruiserweight Champion.
Video Package: Shayna Baszler talks about all the flavors of the month that have passed through NXT like Ember Moon, Nikki Cross, Bianca Belair, Io Shirai, and others, but they’ve all been dominated. It will be no different with Rhea Ripley.
Shayna Baszler will defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley next week.

The main event of the evening will be a #1 Contender’s Triple Threat match between Keith Lee, Finn Balor, and Tommaso Ciampa.
Finn Balor is shown in a video. Balor says Keith Lee has been a force for about three weeks since Survivor Series. Tommaso Ciampa calls the title Balor made famous “Goldie.” Balor will put them all down and take his title back. His future is his past.
Angel Garza did a promo during the commercial break. Garza says he has three loves: wrestling, the WWE Universe, and his family. Garza had his girlfriend come in the ring, and he proposed to her! She accepted, and they embraced in the ring.
Raul Mendoza vs. Cameron Grimes
Footage is shown of Cameron Grimes crushing Raul Mendoza with the Cave In last week on NXT before he was supposed to face Kushida. Kushida defeated Grimes instead. Last night at the Performance Center, Grimes attacked Kushida in the locker room.
Mendoza blindsides Grimes at the sound of the bell with a kick. Mendoza hits him with another kick, and Grimes gets out of the ring to recover. Mendoza hits a springboard corkscrew plancha before getting him in the ring. Mendoza goes for a springboard 450 splash, but Grimes moves. Mendoza lands on his feet, but Grimes comes right back with a moonsault powerslam. Kushida comes down to the ring, and Mendoza catches Grimes with a hurricanrana cradle for the win!
Winner by Pinfall: Raul Mendoza
Kushida steals Grimes’ hat and puts it on before taunting Grimes. Kushida walks off with the top hat.
Cathy Kelley is backstage with Mia Yim. Kelley asks how it feels to get Dakota Kai one-on-one tonight. Yim says this goes beyond revenge. Kai put her away in an ambulance and took away WarGames. Yim isn’t going to wrestle tonight. This is a fight. She’ll inflict so much pain on Kai that she’ll be leaving in an ambulance.

Jaxson Ryker w/ The Forgotten Sons vs. Travis Banks
Ryker immediately attacks Banks and knocks him out of the ring. Banks sidesteps him and kicks him back. Banks goes for a suicide dive, but Ryker forearms him in the face. Ryker gets him in the ring and turns him inside out with a whip to the corner. Ryker viciously forearms him down. Ryker takes him down and grabs the throat. Banks punches him in the midsection, and Ryker pushes him off. Banks quickly dropkicks him in the knee before dropkicking him twice in the face. Banks then hits a cannonball in the corner. Ryker avoids a dive and turns him inside out with an axe handle smash. Ryker hits a running knee to the face, and Banks is bleeding from the left eyebrow. Banks kicks Ryker back and goes to the top rope for a missile dropkick. Banks ducks a clothesline and hits a Slice of Heaven for the win!

Banks immediately gets out of the ring before Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake beat him up. The cameras show the big gash in Banks’ eyebrow.
Mia Yim takes on Dakota Kai, next.

Mia Yim vs. Dakota Kai
The bell rings, and Yim quickly dropkicks her down. Kai fights back, but Yim throws her by the hair. Kai hits the ropes, but Yim avoids it. Yim clips the knees and hits a basement dropkick for a two count. Yim applies Taijiri’s Tarantula in the ropes, but releases before being disqualified. Yim dropkicks Kai down. Kai quickly kicks her in the knee before hitting some axe kicks. Kai charges Yim, but Yim pulls the middle rope down to get her out of the ring. Yim goes outside and sends her into the ring steps before hitting a cannonball!
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Yim avoid a kick to the head. Yim grabs the leg and hits a dragon screw for a two count. Kai avoids a slam into the corner and puts Yim there. Kai charges with a big boot to the face for a near fall. Kai kicks Yim in the face a few times before Yim pushes her away. Yim blocks a kick and hits a leg breaker. Yim punches and kicks Kai back. Yim takes Kai down for a two count. Yim avoids a charge from Kai and hits an overhead belly-to-belly suplex for a two count. Yim goes for a Code Blue, but Kai gets out of it. Yim kicks her and hits Code Blue, but Kai manages to kick out. Yim cannot believe it.
Kai avoids an avalanche in the corner and hits a sit-out powerbomb for a near fall. Kai kicks Yim in the face and goes for a big boot in the corner, but Yim avoids it. Yim then hits a German Suplex with a bridge for a near fall. Yim hits a Protect Ya Neck, but the momentum sends Kai out of the ring. Kai gets back in the ring and grabs Tegan Nox’s knee brace. The referee takes the brace away, so Kai rips the top turnbuckle off. Yim charges Kai, but Kai sends her face into the exposed turnbuckle. Kai then rolls her up for the win.

Mia Yim attacks Dakota Kai outside the ring and punches her into the crowd. Yim sends her face-first into a production structure. Yim grabs two tables and sets them up. Yim grabs her, but Kai runs away. Yim catches up with her and fights her into the production area. Yim then slams her off the production area through the tables! They actually graze the second table and only go through the first. Kai looks like she landed badly! Yim emerges from the wreckage and looks pleased.
Keith Lee says it will soon be time for everyone to bask in his glory.

Breezango vs. The Singh Brothers
Tyler Breeze starts against Sunil Singh. Sunil knees him, so Breeze knees him back. Breeze hits a backcracker for a two count. Fandango tags in, so Sunil chops him. Samir Singh tags in, and Fandango avoids a double-team avalanche. Sunil soon tags in and takes Breeze down. Sunil gets Breeze out of the ring and distracts the referee. Samir stomps away at Breeze while the referee isn’t looking. Samir tags in, and they hit the Bollywood Blast for a near fall. Breeze soon takes Samir down with a step-up enzuigiri.
Fandango and Sunil tag in. Fandango boots Sunil back before hitting a missile dropkick. Fandango follows up with a back body drop followed by a super falcon arrow on Samir! Fandango then hits a falcon arrow on Sunil, but Samir breaks it up. Fandango viciously powerbombs Samir on the apron before Breezango hits Sunil with a flying elbow/backbreaker off the apron. Fandango gets Sunil in the ring and hits a flying leg drop for the win.

The triple threat #1 Contender’s match is later tonight.
Coming up next, we’ll take a look at the rivalry between Shayna Baszler and Rhea Ripley. They’ll face for the NXT Women’s Championship next week.

Kayden Carter vs. Bianca Belair
Belair throws her t-shirt at Carter and clotheslines her down. Belair stomps away at Carter and sends her into the ropes. Carter avoids her and kicks her back. Carter kicks her in the head. Belair goes for a slam, but Carter gets out and rolls her up for a two count. Carter connects with a springboard kick for a near fall. Carter goes for a head-scissor takeover, but Belair counters into a backbreaker. Belair quickly follows up with a gutbuster. Belair talks some trash before applying a Canadian backbreaker rack. Carter manages to get out, but Belair soon shoulders her. Belair then easily lifts Carter and does some squats. Carter goes for a sunset flip, but Belair stays on her feet. Belair picks her up and viciously slams her down. Belair covers, but Carter kicks out. Belair is surprised.
Belair attacks the lower back and dances a bit. Carter slaps her in the face and goes for a tornado DDT, but Belair counters it. Belair hits a slingshot suplex before kipping up. Belair goes for a standing moonsault, but Carter gets the knees up. Belair knocks her into the ropes and charges, but Carter moves to knock her out of the ring. Carter kicks Belair in the face from the apron and gets her in the ring. Carter goes for a neckbreaker, but Belair gets out. Belair avoids a springboard back elbow before hitting a spear. Belair follows up with a KOD for the win.

Tommaso Ciampa vs. Keith Lee vs. Finn Balor
Balor quickly attacks Lee at the sound of the bell, and Ciampa attacks Balor. Lee and Ciampa go face-to-face before leaving the ring to deal with Balor. Lee grabs Balor at ringside and press slams him onto the apron. Lee puts Balor in the ring, so Ciampa goes for a finish. Lee quickly gets in the ring, so Ciampa attacks him. Balor rolls Ciampa up for a one count. Lee then wipes out Ciampa and Balor with a slingshot cross-body block.
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Lee hitting some avalanches on Ciampa and Balor. Balor soon attacks Lee. Ciampa boots Lee before hitting a Cactus Jack clothesline over the top rope. Ciampa gets in the ring and punches away at Balor. Ciampa hits Balor with a big back elbow before stomping him down. Ciampa puts Balor in the corner and stomps him down. Ciampa then hits a running knee to the face. Ciampa quickly big boots Lee off the apron. Ciampa then grabs Balor and Lee and hits dual draping DDTs! Ciampa celebrates while the crowd chants, “Daddy’s home!” Ciampa hits Balor with an Air Raid Crash on Lee. Ciampa covers Balor for a near fall. Ciampa then covers Lee for another near fall.
Ciampa punches and chops Lee as Balor falls to the floor. Ciampa forearms Lee back, but Lee quickly floors him with a left hand. Ciampa rakes the eyes of Lee and goes to lift him, but Lee doesn’t leave his feet. Lee then slaps the back before slapping the chest. Lee goes for a big splash, but Ciampa gets the knees up. Ciampa sets up for a Fairy Tale Ending on Lee, but Lee powers him up. Balor gets in the ring and big boots Lee. Balor takes Ciampa down and double stomps him. Balor then struggles but manages to get Lee off his feet before hitting a double stomp. Balor sets up in the corner for a Woo Dropkick, but Lee hits him with a Pounce. Lee attacks both men and hits avalanches on both back and forth. Lee then throws Balor into Ciampa! Lee hits a back body drop on both men before stacking them on each other. Lee goes to the middle rope, but Ciampa grabs the leg. Balor and Ciampa then slam Lee off the ropes!
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the final break of the evening to see Ciampa take Balor down on the top rope. Ciampa sets up for a super Air Raid Crash. Lee comes up and gets Ciampa in the electric chair while Ciampa holds Balor! Lee then slams both! Unreal! Lee rolls over and covers Ciampa for a near fall.
Lee sets Ciampa up for a moonsault, but Ciampa moves. Ciampa goes for the Fairy Tale Ending, but Lee counters into a Jackhammer. Balor comes up, so Lee goes for a Jackhammer on him. Balor counters that into a small package for a near fall! Lee goes for a Spirit Bomb on Balor, but Balor counters into a Coup de Grace! A loud “NXT” chant picks up. Balor kicks Ciampa off the apron and hits Lee with a summersault senton! The crowd is chanting, “This is awesome!” Balor dropkicks Lee into the barricade, knocking over some security guards. Balor goes for the Coup de Grace on Ciampa, but Ciampa moves. Lee then hits Balor with a Pounce!
Lee stands over Ciampa, who is slowly getting up. Lee goes for a Spirit Bomb, but Ciampa gets out and hits a chop block. Lee is still on his feet. Ciampa hits Lee with an unreal Air Raid Crash for a near fall! Ciampa is stunned. Ciampa charges Lee, but Lee slams him with a spinebuster. Lee goes to the top rope and hits a moonsault, but Ciampa kicks out. Lee connects with a Spirit Bomb on Ciampa, and Balor immediately smokes Lee with a Coup de Grace for the win!
Winner by Pinfall: Finn Balor
Finn Balor will face Adam Cole for the NXT Championship next week on NXT! We will also see Shayna Baszler take on Rhea Ripley with the NXT Women’s Championship on the line.
Finn Balor looks at NXT Champion Adam Cole, who is backing up the ramp. Cole yells at Balor, and Balor taunts him in the ring. The Undisputed ERA comes out to stand side-by-side with Cole.
