The show starts with a highlight from Raw. After Cody Rhodes spoke out against Triple H, he was put in a match against Randy Orton. Rhodes lost the match up, and was fired as a result.
In the ring, Triple H stands with Brad Maddox and Vickie Guerrero, while the Shield watch guard and the Superstars and Divas are on the ramp. Triple H reminds everyone that Cody Rhodes is no longer a WWE Superstar. However, Triple H says it was just cause. Due to his insubordination and disrespect to the COO, he was fired. The COO represents the WWE, so therefore, he is the WWE. Triple H says he won’t stand for that at all. Triple H even gave him the ability to fight for his job. Triple H says Cody Rhodes is the one that fired Cody Rhodes. Triple H says he is friends with him and his family, but he had to make a hard choice. Triple H says he will accept the position of being seen as the “bad guy” for what’s best for business.
Triple H says he will have an open forum, allowing anyone on stage to voice their opinions. Triple H promises they won’t be in danger in terms of their employment. Triple H just asks someone to be honest with him. Damien Sandow steps up to the mic, saying he fully supports the termination of Cody Rhodes. Sandow says Rhodes is everything that is bad for business. Sandow salutes Triple H, however he doesn’t want butt kissing.
Kofi Kingston steps up to the mic, saying ever since Rhodes was fired everyone is afraid. Kingston says he doesn’t see how that is best for business. Kingston says Rhodes fought for his life, and lost his job. Heath Slater interrupts, saying he is uncomfortable with 3MB. Slater then thanks Triple H for doing a great job. Triple H thanks Slater for emptying the contents of his whole mind.
Rob Van Dam steps up, saying he was under the impression that things were better. Van Dam says this vibe is not cool. Triple H says he still has the same faith in RVD as he did when he hired him.
Ryback steps up, saying he is sick of being called a bully. Triple H says it wasn’t his fault that Dolph Ziggler was injured before he lost his match. In response, Triple H makes the match Ryback vs. Dolph Ziggler for later tonight.
Triple H goes on to talk of Daniel Bryan, and his ego. Triple H says his ego is so big, he won’t bother to stand on stage with everyone else. Triple H says he will allow Daniel Bryan to pick any one member of the Shield to face. Triple H says he wants to reward those who spoke up. Triple H says Kofi Kingston will face Curtis Axel, in a non-title match. Triple H says he will allow RVD to face Randy Orton.

WWE Champion Randy Orton vs. Rob Van Dam w/ Ricardo Rodriguez (non-title)
Van Dam kicks Orton to the corner, and follows with shoulder to the gut. RVD does a Snapmare, following with a Top Rope Leg Drop. Pin, but a kick out. RVD takes Orton to another corner, kicking him in the head. Pin, but a kick out. Rob drapes Orton over the apron, connecting with a Slingshot Leg Drop. RVD goes top rope, connecting with a Diving Superkick to Orton. Pin, but a kick out. Rob goes for Rolling Thunder, but he is reversed into a Scoop Slam. Rob is stomped on, as he is whipped. RVD rolls over Orton’s back, following with a Dropkick. Pin, but a kick out. Orton attacks RVD against the ropes. Orton throws RVD into the corner, but is kicked in the face. RVD follows with a Split Legged Moonsault to Orton. Pin, but a kick out. RVD goes after Orton on the floor, but is attacked. Orton goes for the barricade, but Van Dam puts him there instead. RVD goes for a Spinning Heel Kick to Orton, but Randy moves. Van Dam gets caught in the barricade, as Orton rolls him back into the ring. Orton connects with Garvin Stomps, injuring the leg of Rob. Van Dam runs the ropes, but is taken out with a Dropkick. Orton throws Van Dam to the floor.

Orton has Rob in a Headlock, as Van Dam stands out. Orton is hit with elbows, but whips Van Dam. Orton is taken out with Lariats, a Superkick, and a Standing Moonsault. Pin, but a kick out. Rob connects with a Spinning Heel Kick to Orton in the corner. Rob whips Orton, and goes for a Monkey Flip. Orton moves, as Van Dam is kicked. Van Dam falls, as Orton connects with a Backbreaker. Orton connects with a Rope Hung DDT. Rob goes for an RKO, but Rob reverses into a kick. Rob connects with a Monkey Flip and Rolling Thunder. Van Dam goes for a Frog Splash, but misses. Van Dam rolls to the floor, as Orton throws him back in. Orton goes for him, but Van Dam kicks him. Alberto Del Rio comes off from commentary, attacking Ricardo. Van Dam dives onto Del Rio. Orton recovers, and throws Van Dam into the announce table. Van Dam is hit with a DDT from the apron. Rob is rolled back into the ring, as he is hit with an RKO.
Winner: Randy Orton via pinfall
After the match, Alberto Del Rio attacks Rob Van Dam. Del Rio puts him in the Cross Armbreaker, as he taps.

Backstage, Daniel Bryan is interviewed about the meeting they had. Bryan didn’t go out, he wasn’t invited. Daniel says if by ego, he means winning the WWE Championship, then the answer is yes. Also, Bryan says he will let the Shield choose who wants to face him. Daniel will beat them and Randy Orton.
Backstage, AJ talks with Layla, Alicia Fox and Aksana. Lee says she would much rather face any of them, instead of the Total Divas. AJ doesn’t want them to steal their TV time. AJ says she has an idea, as they make a plan together.
Dolph Ziggler makes his way to the ring.

Ryback makes his way to the ring.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Ryback
Ziggler runs the ropes, but is thrown in the air. Ziggler lands on his feet, and takes Ryback to the floor. Ryback gets back in, but eats a Dropkick. Ziggler runs towards a cornered Ryback, but misses with the Stinger Splash. Ryback throws him around, following with a Body Slam. Pin, but a kick out. Ryback throws Ziggler into the corner. Ryback locks Ziggler in a Bear Hug. Ziggler fights out, reversing into a DDT. Ryback goes towards Ziggler, but hits his shoulder into the ring post. Ziggler connects with a Splash, following with a Neckbreaker. Pin, but a kick out. Ziggler connects with a Fameasser. Pin, but a kick out. Ziggler is whipped, and taken out with a shoulder. Ziggler rolls to the floor. Ryback follows, and tries to dive into him. Ryback dives into the steel steps. Ziggler sees Ambrose on commentary, and chases him. Ambrose jumps around Ryback, as Ziggler takes a Meat Hook. Ryback puts Ziggler back in the ring, and connects with Shell Shocked for the win.

Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel w/ Paul Heyman vs. Kofi Kingston (non-title)
They lock up, as Axel locks in a Side Headlock. Kingston reverses, putting one of his own on. Kingston does a Headlock Takeover, but Axel gets out. Curtis takes Kingston down to the mat, wrestling him down. Kingston reverses into a Hammerlock. Axel steps in the ropes, breaking the hold. Axel goes for an elbow, but misses. They lock up again, as Axel locks in a Headlock. A Takeover follows, but Kingston fights out. Axel takes him down with shoulders. Kingston connects with a Spinning Back Elbow to an oncoming Axel. Curtis leaves to talk with Paul, but comes back in. Heyman throws fists to Kingston. Axel runs to Kingston, but is taken down with a Headscissors Takeover. Axel is sent to the floor, as Kofi fakes a dive. Kingston dives out, but is thrown into the steps. Kingston jumps off them, onto Axel. Both try to get back into the ring, as Heyman walks up. Kofi is distracted, as he is pushed by Axel to the floor.

Curtis has Kingston in a Headlock again, but Kingston fights out. Axel is whipped, but he reverses into a Lariat to the back of Kingston’s head. Pin, but a kick out. Axel connects with a Body Slam, and goes for an Elbow from the second rope. Kingston counters, kicking Axel in the face. Axel is taken out with chops. A Dropkick from Kofi if replied with one from Axel. Pin, but a kick out. Axel whips Kingston to the corner, but is kicked. Kofi goes top rope, but is tripped. Axel clubs his chest while he is in the Tree of Woe. Axel goes for a Perfect Plex, but it is reversed into an SOS for the win.

Paul Heyman is interviewed, as he is asked if he is frightened. Heyman says he overlooked Kofi Kingston, because he was worried about Punk. Heyman says it was not Axel’s fault, but his own. Heyman says this won’t happen at Night of Champions, because if it does, he will be destroyed. Heyman says his worst is more scary that Punk’s. Heyman promises and storms off.
Brie throws Naomi to the mat, and kicks her in the face. Pin, but a kick out. Brie throws Naomi by her hair, and knees her in the face. Brie locks in a Headlock to Naomi, as she connects with a Snapmare. Naomi connects with Dropkicks, and a Front Flip Lariat. Pin, but a kick out. Naomi slides to the apron, kicking Brie from the apron. Brie takes her to the floor. AJ, Aksana, Alicia Fox and Layla ambush the Diva’s in the match.
Winner: N/A
AJ grabs a mic during the assault, and pronounces herself Diva’s Champion.

Zeb Colter is in the ring with the Real Americans. The Usos make their way to the ring.
The Usos vs. Real Americans (Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger) w/ Zeb Colter
Cesaro connects with a Dropkick. Swagger is tagged, after Jimmy is thrown to the floor. Swagger connects with a Chop Block, and throws Jimmy back into the ring. They take the attack in the corner. Swagger connects with a Swagger Bomb, as Cesaro tags. Cesaro Leapfrogs off Swagger into a Double Stomp. Swagger is tagged, as the both connect with a Double Body Slam. Swagger locks in a Butterfly Lock. Jimmy fights out, as Swagger is sent to the floor. Jey and Cesaro are tagged, as Jey connects with a Hip Toss to Cesaro to the floor. Jey connects with a Plancha. Cesaro is thrown back into the ring, and hit with a Running Hip. Pin, but Swagger breaks it. Swagger is kicked out of the ring, as Cesaro rolls him up. Cesaro is hit with a Superkick, as Jey goes top rope. Jimmy goes to dive on Swagger, but misses. Swagger pushes Jey off the top, as Cesaro connects with a European Uppercut for the win.

Triple H sees Big Show in his office, as he says he knows that 3MB is what has him angry. Triple H says he will let him get that rage out on 3MB, by using them as human stress balls.

3-on-1 Handicap Match: Big Show vs. 3MB
Slater goes for a kick, but is taken out. Drew is thrown into Jinder, and throws them both to the floor. Drew is sent over the barricade, as Jinder is thrown into the ropes. Jinder is chopped on the announce table. Drew gets up, but is Speared. Show follows with a knee to McIntyre’s face. Jinder and Drew are thrown back into the ring. Show connects with a Double Chokeslam, as only Slater remains. Show hits Slater with a KO Punch for the win.
Winner: Big Show via pinfall
The Shield makes their way to the ring, while Triple H brings Big Show to the back.

1/2 WWE Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins vs. Daniel Bryan
Seth Rollins jumps Daniel, throwing him into the corner. Seth throws elbows to Daniel and whips him. Seth is taken out with kicks. Daniel goes for a Roundhouse, but Rollins grabs the ropes. Daniel takes them both to the floor. Daniel throws Seth back in the ring, but is thrown out himself. Seth follows, throwing him onto the apron. Seth the kicks Daniel in the head. Daniel is put in the ring and pinned. Kick out. Seth locks in a Headlock, as Daniel gets out. The two trade forearms in the middle of the ring. Rollins goes for a Lariat, but misses. Daniel connects with a German Suplex, as Rollins lands on his head. Daniel goes top rope, connecting with a Missile Dropkick. Pin, but a kick out. Daniel connects with kicks across Rollins’ chest, but is pushed to the floor. Daniel gets on the apron, going top rope. Seth connects with an Enziguri. Daniel falls to the floor. When the ref is turned, Roman Reigns connects with an Elbow. Seth takes Daniel into the steel steps. Rollins goes top rope, diving off, but is put in the Yes Lock. Daniel kicks away at Roman and Dean on the apron. Rollins goes for a Lariat, but dives on Roman and Dean. Rollins goes for a Suicide Dive, but is hit with an Elbow. Daniel then connects with a Running Knee to the face.
Winner: Daniel Bryan via pinfall
Randy Orton attacks him on the stage from behind, standing over him with the WWE Title.
