“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.
WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins is in the ring already. His theme music has “Burn it down” thrown into it multiple times now. Rollins yells, “Burn it down!” That will be his rallying cry at TLC this Sunday when he puts his Intercontinental Championship on the line against Dean Ambrose. More importantly, that’ll be the theme for right here tonight in San Diego. Rollins isn’t out here to call out Dean Ambrose or play games. He’s here to spit truth. General Manager-Elect Baron Corbin needs to hear some things and get a dose of reality.
“General Manager-Elect” Baron Corbin makes his way to the ring and says they should have this conversation in private. Rollins tells him to shut up. Since he’s been tied up with Dean Ambrose, he hasn’t told him what he thinks of Corbin’s “leadership.” Under Corbin’s leadership, Monday Night RAW has sucked. It has sucked because of Corbin. Corbin comes out every single week and makes it about himself. A “Corbin sucks” chant picks up. Rollins says what Corbin is doing is not ok and not right. It is wrong. Corbin says he gets that Rollins is frustrated, but he’s allowing Rollins to vent. Corbin warns him to watch how he talks to him.
Rollins asks if Corbin is going to fire him. Rollins says the roster in the back are some of the most talented men and women that RAW has ever had. Corbin doesn’t know how to use it. For example, The Revival has to fight in ridiculous Lucha House Rule matches. Rollins doesn’t get it. How about they have more segments with urination? Rollins fake laughs. Rollins says every decision Corbin has made has been to mask his insecurities. Was Braun Strowman mean to him and hurt his feelings so he had to give the Universal Title back to Brock Lesnar, a guy who only shows up when he wants to. Lesnar never wants to show up. Lesnar isn’t here because he doesn’t want to be here. The last time Lesnar had a match on RAW was 2002. It’s been 16 years. This whole Baron Corbin experiment has been an abject failure. The talent support, the fan support, and the TV ratings are all at an all time low all because of Baron Corbin.
Corbin tells him to save him some time and let him file it under, “I don’t give a damn.” Corbin doesn’t care what anyone thinks. RAW is his show. If Rollins doesn’t like it, that’s too bad because he’ll be in charge for a very long time. If Rollins thinks it’s bad now, it’ll only get worse for a guy like Rollins. Rollins doesn’t think it can get any worse. Corbin says this Sunday, Dean Ambrose will beat Rollins for the Intercontinental Championship. Then he’ll beat Strowman in a TLC match by forfeit. That’s too bad because he’s always wanted to have a TLC match. After that, JoJo will introduce him as the new permanent General Manager of Monday Night RAW. That very next night on RAW until the day Rollins quits, he’ll put him through hell. Rollins tells him to not wait and do it tonight. Rollins challenges Corbin to a match. Corbin says he’ll be the permanent General Manager this Sunday.
Rollins says a one-on-one match isn’t good enough for the people. Corbin has always wanted to have one and they have the tools of the trade right here. The ring is surrounded by tables, ladders, and chairs. Rollins challenges Corbin to a TLC match tonight. Corbin says that would be the end of Rollins. Rollins says it’ll be a tune up for his match against Ambrose. Corbin says it’ll cost him everything to be a hero. Corbin has no problem making an example of Rollins. Corbin declines. Rollins constantly calls him a coward while Corbin tries to make excuses. Corbin angrily agrees to the TLC match… for the Intercontinental Championship.
RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax will have a Face-To-Face in the ring moderated by Alexa Bliss later tonight. Coming up next, Bobby Roode and Chad Gable will challenge AOP and Drake Maverick in a 2-on-3 handicap match for the RAW Tag Team Championships.

Seth Rollins is walking backstage when an interviewer stops him. She asks if he regrets calling out Baron Corbin. Rollins says it may not have been the smartest move to do this, but he can’t let Corbin get away with anything. If Rollins wants to be a leader, he can’t just sit back and let Corbin do what he wants. If he doesn’t take a true stand, he doesn’t deserve to wear the title.

Natalya addresses her match against Ruby Riott at TLC
Natalya has a microphone and thanks the fans. Natalya says she normally walks out with a huge smile on her face, but she does want to say something about Ruby Riott. Natalya loves this business, but Riott doesn’t respect anything in this business. Riott made this personal when she destroyed her father’s sunglasses. Riott tried to destroy her Dad’s legacy. Natalya says she’s had to overcome so much to make it to WWE. Does Riott remember the Montreal Screwjob? Does she remember when her uncle, Bret “Hitman” Hart, punched the owner of WWE in the face? She had to overcome that. Natalya is damn proud to be a Hart and proud to represent her family in WWE. Natalya says she’ll teach Riott about respect at TLC. Also this Sunday, she’ll dedicate her match to her father, Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart. Natalya said that through tears. Natalya is holding back tears while the crowd applauds her. Natalya says she’ll take all her emotions and drive Riott’s ass through a table.
The Riott Squad’s music hits. Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan set up a table on the end. Riott makes fun of Natalya for crying. All Natalya does is feel sorry for herself. Riott says Natalya doesn’t need respect — she needs a good counselor. Riott says no one has the guts to say it to her face, but Natalya doesn’t represent the Hart family. Natalya disgraces her family. Riott says while she knows she won’t be at the Hart family Christmas this year, she wanted to give her a gift anyway. Riott says this is the gift that keeps on giving. Riott then pulls the cover off the table, which has a picture of Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart on it. Riott says this Sunday at TLC, when she puts Natalya through this table, Natalya and her father will be closer than ever.
Dolph Ziggler will take on Drew McIntyre in a rematch from last week’s RAW, next.
-Commercial Break-
Drew McIntyre makes his entrance. Charly Caruso interviews him in the ring about his match against Finn Balor at TLC. Why challenge Dolph Ziggler tonight? McIntyre says he’ll let her in on a little secret. Since he’s the only man in WWE, no one stays undefeated forever — not André The Giant, not The Undertaker at WrestleMania, and not Drew McIntyre. McIntyre says that lights a fire in him and makes him more dangerous. Maybe they should ask Balor about that. Oh wait, McIntyre beat him so badly that Balor isn’t here tonight. McIntyre says when he talks, everyone will listen. McIntyre is making RAW a better place. Even if they don’t like him, they will respect him. McIntyre doesn’t care what kind of guy Ziggler is. Ziggler is the guy that will get his head kicked off.

Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax will be Face-To-Face in the ring moderated by Alexa Bliss.
Elias is backstage. He’ll be out, next.
-Commercial Break-
“Ladies and gentlemen… Elias.”
Elias greets the crowd and playes a bluesy riff. Elias says Bobby Lashley did a radio interview earlier and said he’d take every sports team in this town and move it to a cool city like LA. Those are Lashley’s words, not his. If it were up to San Diego, a loser like Lashley wouldn’t perform. Elias says he’d rather perform in the Gas Lamp District instead of in front of LA trash. Elias says everyone knows what Bobby Lashley will find out on Sunday. That is that WWE stands for Walk With Elias.
Elias says he considers himself to be a good guy. Hitting children with his guitar wasn’t at the top of his list, but last week was an exception. A photo is shown of him hitting Lio Rush with a guitar. Elias will have a match against Rush tonight. Elias decided to write a song. Elias sings, “I’ve been in the air so long, waiting for something to come along to bring me back down to Earth — keep my feet above the Earth. This life ain’t like no other. Oh can you hear me, brother? Actually I can’t stop thinking about how bad Bobby Lashley sucks.”

Rush covers Elias, and Lashley orders Slater to count the pin. Slater reluctantly does.

Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax go Face-To-Face
Alexa Bliss makes her way to the ring. She is the head of the Women’s Division of RAW. Nia Jax then makes her entrance with Tamina Snuka by her side. Jax says before Bliss starts asking questions, she’s going to make a statement. This Sunday, she is going to become the RAW Women’s Champion at the direct expense of Ronda Rousey. Getting cracked in the head in the UFC has done a number on Ronda’s logic. If she had any brains, Rousey would lay the title at her feet to avoid the humiliation at TLC. She knows Rousey comes from a word where you talk trash to hype a match. Jax doesn’t talk trash. She’s a 6-foot tall Samoan. Jax says her fist broke Becky Lynch’s face with one punch. This Sunday, she’ll punch Rousey in the face. Jax won’t stop at one punch like she did with Lynch. She’ll do it over and over until Rousey taps out just to stop her. Jax is not just the imposing force in WWE Women’s History. She’s also a strategist. Rousey is a world class judo champion, a Strikeforce Champion, a UFC Champion, and the RAW Women’s Champion. If Rousey avoids the punch and tries for an arm bar, she’ll pry Rousey off her arm and punch her in the face.
