BACKSTAGE: Crystal Louthan & Jim Cornette & Matt Morgan & Team 3-D/Devine & Sabin/Shelley/Lethal.. Jim Cornette bitched at everyone and booked Johnny Devine vs. Jay Lethal in a Hardcore Street Fight.. Jim Cornette booked A.J. Styles & Tomko vs. Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin - who started to get into a fight.. Team 3-D protested Shelley/Sabin getting a title shot and said they are the ones who deserve a title shot.. Matt Morgan kept having to restore order - and Jim Cornette added Team 3-D to TNA World Tag Title Match.. IN THE RING: Kevin Nash + Matt Morgan + Samoa Joe.. Kevin Nash said Jim Cornette screwed up because it was pretty clear that Samoa Joe got screwed last week.. Kevin Nash called out Jim Cornette and told him to make things right for Joe and he (Kevin Nash) will mediate.. Matt Morgan said nobody cared what Kevin Nash has to say and said the Kliq, Wolfpac & nWo were DEAD! Matt Morgan stated he was better than Kevin Nash and gave him the courtesy of leaving his ring peacefully. Kevin Nash grabbed Matt Morgan by the throat and said not to ever disrespect him and then released the hold.. Matt Morgan attacked Kevin Nash from behind and beat on him until Samoa Joe jumped the rail and made the save! Samoa Joe said Kevin Nash begged Jim Cornette to do it the easy way but tonight they will do it the HARD WAY! INTERVIEW: Jeremy Borash & "Prince" A.J. Styles & Kurt Angle & Karen Angle.. Jeremy Borash hyped the TNA Awards tonight and Kurt Angle said he needed JB's full attention and support.. Kurt Angle asked A.J. Styles to arrange a meeting with Tomko - and Styles said Tomko is doing his own thing.. Karen Angle dismissed Jeremy Borash & Kurt Angle so she could whisper in A.J.'s ear and make him "promises".. INTERVIEW: Crystal Louthan & Christian Cage.. Christian Cage said he knows Tomko better than anyone and he respects him enough to give him his space.. TAG MATCH: James Storm (w/Jackie Moore) & Robert Roode (w/Payton Banks) defeated Eric Young & Sonjay Dutt.. Miss Payton Banks came out wearing glasses and dark hair, transforming into the mirror image of Tracy Brooks! After the match: Tracy hit the ring and attacked Payton until Eric Young & Robert Roode pulled them off.. TNA AWARDS: Jeremy Borash & So Cal Val announced Jay Lethal as the TNA X-Division Wrestler of the Year! The NOMINEES WERE: 1) "The Black Machismo" Jay Lethal, 2) "The Future" Chris Sabin, 3) Kaz (Frankie Kazarian).. Jay Lethal came out to accept the award and get a kiss from sexy So-Cal Val and then cut a promo out of character.. Jay Lethal said he has lost his smile and he is made as hell and he will start by taking it out on Johnny Devine! INTERVIEW: Crystal Louthan & Black Reign + Samoa Joe + Kaz.. Black Reign said Kaz still has Misty (the Rat) and he wants her back - and then threatened Kaz with violence.. Samoa Joe came in and smashed Black Reign's head against the table - Kaz strolled in and stole the Darkness Falls.. MATCH: Shark Boy (wearing a "Stone Cold" black vest) defeated Elix Skipper with a Stunner.. Shark Boy cut a promo in the style of Stone Cold and encouraged the fans to chant "What?" after each line... Shark Boy said "Shark Boy 24/7 said I just bit your ass, and that's the fishing line cause Shark Boy said so!" Shark Boy then threw a beer bash (of sorts) by having cans of clam juice thrown at him for him to chug! TNA AWARDS: Jeremy Borash & So Cal Val announced Gail Kim as the TNA Knockout of the Year! The NOMINEES WERE: 1) Miss Tracy Brooks, 2) Christy Hemme, 3) Gail Kim.. Gail Kim thanked the fans for voting for her and said it has been an incredible year.. Gail Kim said she was still suffering from a concussion but the TNA Knockout's title means everything to her.. Gail Kim said Awesome Kong might wear the belt around her waist but she is a disgrace to the championship.. Gail Kim then stated loudly Awesome Kong might have put her down, but she has definitely not put her OUT.. Awesome Kong came down with her mystery associate (Saed) and beat the living crap out of the injured Gail Kim! Awesome Kong was about to Power-bomb Gail Kim but ODB ran down and drop-kicked Kong out of the ring! Awesome Kong wanted to get back into the ring but her mystery associate (Saed) prevented her from doing so.. INTERVIEW: Crystal Louthan & Kurt Angle & Karen Angle & A.J. Styles & Tomko.. Kurt Angle said if Tomko helps him defeat Christian at Against All Odds he will become a member of the Angle Alliance.. Kurt Angle said Tomko will receive perks including "inspiration" from Karen - but Tomko said he was happily married.. Kurt Angle said Karen wasn't some girl Tomko picked up at the strip club (that's ironic) - Tomko attacked Kurt Angle! ARENA: Tomko dragged Kurt Angle out into the iMPACT Zone and into the ring to beat the crap out of him.. TNA security pulled Tomko off of Kurt Angle, who said Tomko blew it and challenged him to a match next week! INTERVIEW: Crystal Louthan & Johnny Devine & Team 3-D (Brothers Ray & Devon).. HARDCORE STREET FIGHT: Johnny Devine defeated Jay Lethal to capture the TNA X-Division title!! Brother Devon distracted the referee while Brother Ray snuck in and whacked Jay Lethal with a kendo stick! Johnny Devine pinned Jay Lethal to officially capture the TNA X-Division title all thanks to Team 3-D! Samoa Joe hit the ring and Team 3-D bailed out, leaving Johnny Devine to get beat up by Samoa Joe! SIT-DOWN INTERVIEW: Mike Tenay & Chris "Abyss" Mitchell.. Mike Tenay asked for confirmation on Father James Mitchell's claim that he was Chris's biological father.. Abyss said he wears a mask because he is ashamed of the blood that is running through his veins.. Abyss challenged Judas Mesias to a Barbed Wire Massacre match at Against All Odds.. TNA AWARDS: Jeremy Borash & So Cal Val announced Booker T as the TNA Most Memorable Moment of 2007! The NOMINEES WERE: 1) Booker T & Sharmell arrive, 2) Angle Triple Champion, 3) Sting regains World title.. Booker T told Sharmell (who is at home watching) that he loves her and blamed himself for Sharmell's injury.. Jeremy Borash asked Booker T when he would return to the ring, and Booker said Sharmell was his priority now.. Robert Roode came up on the big screen and asked what kind of husband puts their loving wife in harm's way.. Robert Roode told Booker T to go home to his wife and when he gets there "give her my best" *Roode snickers* INTERVIEW: Crystal Louthan & BG James & Bullet Bob Armstrong.. BG James said it was party time at the Armstrong house, but Bullet Bob said it will be boot came until the PPV.. TAG MATCH: Tiger Mask & Curry Man defeated The Rock & Rave Infection (Lance Hoyt & Jimmy Rave w/Christy Hemme).. Christy Hemme, Lance Hoyt & Jimmy Rave came out doing a Guitar Hero gimmick, screaming into the microphone.. Curry Man is the gimmick Christopher Daniels uses in Japan but but they didn't say that it was Christopher Daniels.. TNA AWARDS: Jeremy Borash & So Cal Val announced Samoa Joe as the "MVP of 2007"! The NOMINEES WERE: 1) Kurt Angle, 2) Christian Cage, 3) Samoa Joe.. Samoa Joe said the fans have spoken and asked Jeremy Borash to explain why he (Joe) hasn't gotten his title shot.. Jeremy Borash said Samoa Joe got a shot at Kurt Angle a few months ago - and Joe knocked Jeremy Borash on his ass! Jim Cornette ran down to restore order, but Samoa Joe smashed the MVP trophy and cornered Jim Cornette in the ring.. Kevin Nash came down to hold Samoa Joe back - Jim Cornette offered to make Joe a special enforcer at Against All Odds.. Jim Cornette said if Samoa Joe did that he would get a title shot at Destination-X but Samoa Joe declined the offer.. Samoa Joe said he wanted a brand new five-year contract with TNA and gauranteed salary 15% more than Kurt Angle.. INTERVIEW: Crystal Louthan & A.J. Styles & Tomko.. A.J. Styles was trying to convince Tomko to help Kurt Angle, which caused some dissension between the two.. TAG TITLE 3-WAY: Tomko & A.J. Styles defeated Team 3-D and Sabin/Shelley to retain the TNA World Tag Team titles! Karen Angle got knocked down so A.J. Styles picked her up and carried he backstage (ah la MegaPowers 1989)..
