BACKSTAGE: Jeremy Borash & Kurt Angle & Karen Angle.. Kurt Angle blamed Kevin Nash for his loss at Bound For Glory and losing the TNA World title to Sting.. Kurt Angle said he was going to win the title back tonight and Karen Angle said he was dillusional.. IN THE RING: Kurt Angle & Karen Angle + Kevin Nash.. Kurt Angle said that if Kevin Nash was there right now he would beat the sh*t out of him right there! Kevin Nash came out and confronted Kurt Angle, who got in his face and blamed him for his loss to Sting.. Kevin Nash gave Kurt Angle "one chance" to apologize to him. Kurt said "Hold on a second, I'm not sorry!" Kurt Angle said that (Dr.) Nash has given him nothing but bad advance and to step aside so he can kick ass! Kevin Nash went after Kurt Angle and gave him a Jacknife Power-bomb and took off his shirt to celebrate.. BACKSTAGE: Jeremy Borash & Kurt Angle & Karen Angle.. Karen Angle told Kurt Angle that he had to do something to make things better with Kevin Nash tonight.. Kurt Angle asked what Kevin Nash likes. Jeremy Borash said PORN. Kurt told Karen to go buy some porn! FIGHT FOR THE RIGHT TOURNAMENT: Alex Shelley vs. Chris Savin ended in a No Contest when Team 3-D interfered.. 30 seconds into the match, Brother Ray came out and called them WIMPS. Brother Devon attacked from behind.. Team 3-D assaulted Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley and whipped them for costing them the match at Bound For Glory.. Team 3-D said that the X-Division sucks, and they are going to destroy the X-Division - why? - because we can! Brother Ray power-bombed Chris Sabin while Brother Devon power-bombed Alex Shelley through a pair of tables! BACKSTAGE: Jeremy Borash & Jim Cornette & Matt Morgan + Christian Cage + Samoa Joe.. Christian Cage came in with a Ladder and wanted a spot in the Fight for the Right Tournament in a Ladder match.. Samoa Joe came in and also wanted the open spot in the Tournament and got into a scuffle with Christian Cage.. SIT-DOWN INTERVIEW: Mike Tenay & Glen Gilberti (aka Disco Inferno).. Mike Tenay ran down the history of Disco Inferno in WCW and the early days of TNA and said he has disappeard.. Disco Inferno said he was in the best shape of his life and he doesn't need TNA - TNA needs Disco Inferno.. KNOCKOUTS MATCH: Amazing Kong (they're actually calling her Awesome Kong) defeated Talia Madison.. INTERVIEW: Jeremy Borash & Kevin Nash + Karen Angle.. Kevin Nash said Kurt Angle is going to find out if there's any diesel left in the tank.. Karen Angle showed up and wanted to talk to Kevin Nash, but Nash blew her off and left.. INTERVIEW: Crystal Louthan & Chris Harris & Rhino (Talked about wrestling Robert Roode & James Storm tonight).. Chris Harris told Rhino that he should have been there sooner and told him to try to stay sober tonight.. TAG MATCH: Robert Roode (w/Tracy Brooks) & James Storm (w/Jackie Moore) defeated Chris Harris & Rhino.. INTERVIEW: Jeremy Borash & Kaz (Frankie Kazarian).. Kaz talked about the Fight of the Right Tournament and said he was done hanging out with douchbags like Raven.. IN THE RING: Mike Tenay & Jim Cornette + Jay Lethal + Gail Kim + A.J. Styles & Tomko (w/Christian Cage) + Sting.. Jay Lethal came out and gave himself a brief celebration for retaining his X-Division title at Bound For Glory.. Gail Kim came out and was crying legit tears of joy as Jim Cornette presented her with the TNA Women's title.. A.J. Styles & Tomko (with Christian Cage following) came out to claim their TNA World Tag Team championships.. Christian Cage interrupted A.J. Styles acceptance speech and demanded the final spot in the FFTR Tournament.. Jim Cornette quickly booked Christian Cage in a match with Samoa Joe with the winner claiming the vacant spot.. Sting came out and was presented the TNA World Heavyweight title belt as the fans chanted "You Still Got It!" Mike Tenay asked Sting if he would accept Kurt Angle challenge to a rematch to take place on tonight's show.. Sting asked the fans... and they cheered.... so Sting said "It's Showtime!" to accept Kurt Angle's challenge.. Kurt Angle came out in a wheelchair - - apparently injured by Kevin Nash earlier by the Jacknife power-bomb.. Kurt Angle said that the doctors wouldn't allow him to wrestle tonight but he will do it next week instead.. FIGHT FOR THE RIGHT TOURNAMENT: Kaz (Frankie Kazarian) defeated Lance Hoyt (w/Christy Hemme & Jimmy Rave).. Jimmy Rave was shown on camera making face at Christy Hemme behind her back during the match.. Jimmy Rave's interference backfired, and Christy Hemme yelled at Lance Hoyt, causing his loss.. INTERVIEW: Crystal Louthan interviewed some guy to promote the CHOWDOWN CHAMPIONSHIP coming on Spike TV next.. INTERVIEW: Crystal Louthan & Junior Fatu (Doing "Rock" impressions talked about wrestling Robert Roode next week).. BACKSTAGE: Jeremy Borash & Kurt Angle & Karen Angle + Black Reign (Dustin Rhodes).. Kurt Angle & Karen Angle were looking for Kevin Nash, and Kurt ordered Karen to go ask Black Reign.. Black Reign started licking his pet rat (Misty) and Karen & Jeremy ran away leaving Kurt sitting there.. MATCH: Abyss defeated Disco Inferno (Glen Gilbertti).. Black Reign attacked Abyss after the match and Father James Mitchell came down and hit Abyss from behind.. Abyss turned around and put Father James Mitchell up for a torture rack but Black Reign came to his rescue.. Black Reign hand-cuffed Abyss to the corner of the six sided ring and taunted Abyss with Misty the Rat.. Black Reign put the Rat inside of a bag and placed the bag over Abyss's head until the Rat "bit" his face.. INTERVIEW: Jeremy Borash & Kurt Angle & Karen Angle + Kevin Nash.. Kurt Angle (in his wheelchair) tried to chase down Kevin Nash as Nash was driving out the parking lot.. FIGHT FOR THE RIGHT QUALIFYING MATCH: Christian Cage defeated Samoa Joe......... Late in the match: A.J. Styles & Tomko attacked Samoa Joe but Joe quickly threw them out of the ring.. Matt Morgan ran down to prevent Tomko from re-entering the ring. Samoa Joe applied the Rear Naked Choke! Robert Roode showed up unexpectedly and cracked Samoa Joe with a steel chair helping Christian Cage win! END OF SHOW.... Go Back To TNA History
