TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Kurt Angle defeated Christian Cage and Rhino to retain the TNA World title.. Samoa Joe came down to join commentary but attacked Kurt Angle instead and was sent backstage by Jim Cornette.. Half way through the match, Abyss came down and attacked Christian Cage and dragged him backstage for a big brawl.. Abyss beat up Christian for a couple minutes before A.J. Styles & Tomko showed up and they triple-teamed Abyss.. Rhino GOREd Kurt Angle through a table. Christian returned and covered Angle but Chris Harris pulled Cage out.. A.J. Styles & Tomko came down and attacked Chris Harris until Sting made the save (apparently helping Abyss).. The ring then filled up with Christian Cage, Rhino, Kurt Angle, Sting, Abyss, Tomko (bloody), and A.J. Styles.. Everyone brawled away from the ring area leaving Kurt Angle vs. Rhino to battle it out for the TNA World title.. "Cowboy" James Storm ran down and poured beer all over Rhino and helped Kurt Angle score the victory to retain! The match lasted over 45 minutes and took up most of the entire 1-hour broadcast of TNA iMPACT on Spike TV.. END OF SHOW.... Go Back To TNA History
