FEATURE: Mr. Bob Backlund was out in the arena working out during the entire 1-hour program.. EYE SPY SEGMENT: Sting having dinner with "Father" James Mitchell to discuss Chris (Abyss)... Father James Mitchell told Sting that Chris (Abyss) went to prison to protect his mother.. Mitchell revealed that his mother shot her abusive husband and Chris took the blam for it.. XSCAPE CAGE MATCH: Jerry Lynn beat Petey Williams and Sonjay Dutt and Austin Starr and Alex Shelley and Shark Boy.. Alex Shelley was eliminated by Shark Boy.. Sonjay Dutt was eliminated by Jerry Lynn.. Shark Boy was eliminated by Austin Starr.. Austin Starr was eliminated by Petey Williams.. It came down to Jerry Lynn vs. Petey Williams in an Escape the Cage Rules match.. Jerry Lynn escaped the cage first to earn a shot at the X-Division title at Lockdown on PPV.. After the match: Christopher Daniels (infatuated with Sting) whacked Jerry Lynn with a bat.. INTERVIEW: Latisha Cline & Tomko + Christian Cage.. Before Tomko could answer Latisha Cline's questions NWA World Champion Christian Cage showed up.. Christian Cage was extra nice to Tomko and took a call on his cell phone as Tomko walked away.. IN THE RING: Team Cage + Abyss w/Father James Mitchell + Tomko + Team Angle.. Christian Cage & A.J. Styles officially welcomed "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner into Team Cage.. Christian Cage then introduced Abyss w/Father James Mitchell as the the forth member of Team Cage.. Christian Cage then called out the fifth member - Tomko - who hesitated on his way to the TNA ring.. Tomko accused Christian Cage of lying to him and said he does not play second fiddle to anyone.. Tomko wanted his title shot tonight but Christian Cage said he'd give him a shot after Lockdown.. Team Angle (Kurt Angle & Samoa Joe & Rhino) came out and offered Tomko a spot on their team.. Jim Cornette came out and said they would settle the issue tonight with some old fashioned wrestling! Jim Cornette booked one member of Team Angle against one member of Team Cage in the main event tonight.. Jim Cornette said the winner would get Tomko on their team at Lockdown and Tomko would get a title shot! VIDEO PACKAGE: Featuring comments from Team 3-D and LAX talking about their Electrified Cage match.. INTERVIEW: Jeremy Borash & Team Angle (Kurt Angle & Samoa Joe & Rhino).. Kurt Angle said he would represent his own team tonight and said he doesn't want to let his team down.. MATCH: "The Cowboy" James Storm w/Jacqueline Moore defeated Eric Young.. "Wildcat" Chris Harris showed up after the match but was held back by security and James Storm spit in his face! The scuffle spilled backstage and out of sight until Robert Roode & Tracy Brooks came out to tormet Eric Young.. Robert Roode harassed Eric Young and threatened to fire him from RRInc and demanded to know who his "friend" was.. Petey Williams ran out and had a scuffle with Robert Roode but we're not sure if he is Eric Young's "friend"..... INTERVIEW: Latisha Cline & Team Cage (Christian Cage & Scott Steiner & A.J. Styles & Abyss w/James Mitchell).. Christian Cage, A.J. Styles and Scott Steiner were argueing over who would face Kurt Angle later tonight.. None of them wanted to do it so Father James Mitchell said no problem Abyss will do Christian's dirty work.. Father James Mitchell said Abyss HAS to do what he says or else he'll call the authority on his dear mother.. FEATURE INTERVIEW: Mike Tenay interviewed Voodoo Kin Mafia and Christy Hemme (from separate locations).. Christy Hemme said she went out and got another tag team to challenge Voodoo Kin Mafia at the Lockdown PPV.. Kip James said if Christy Hemme pretends to be a wrestler then sooner of later she'll get hurt like a wrestler.. WINNER GETS TOMKO'S SERVICES: Kurt Angle defeated Abyss w/Father James Mitchell.. After the match: Tomko hit the ring and raised Kurt Angle's arm but then knocked him out with the contract clipboard! Christian Cage jumped in the ring and Tomko voluntarily signed the contract to join Team Cage at the Lockdown PPV.. Team Cage (Christian, Tomko, Scott Steiner & AJ Styles) assaulted Kurt Angle until Samoa Joe & Rhino made the save! END OF SHOW.... Go Back To TNA History
