- The show (production wise) got off to a poor start..
- They showed the opening video package, with audio from inside the Asylum and Jeremy Borash talking to the crowd..
- When the opening package did start on schedule the audio we hear is still from inside the Asylum..
PARKING LOT: Vince Russo & AJ Styles..
- Vince Russo told AJ Styles he was going to "break bread with Jeff"..
- The audio problem was still happening at this point, and is making TNA look very "amature"..
TAG MATCH: Kid Kash & Abyss defeated James Storm & Chris Harris..
- Match starts WITHOUT the voice of Mike Tenay & Don West, I wonder if they've even figured it out?
- A minute into match the commentary suddenly reappears like nothing had happened..
- Kid Kash used a chair on Chris Storm and Abyss hit a Black Hole Slam to get the pinfall victory..
- Terry Taylor stormed to the ring and told the referee about the use of a chair..
- Kid Kash & Terry Taylor then started shoving eachother around..
- Abyss went after Terry Taylor, giving Kid Kash a chance to attack Taylor from behind..
- Kid Kash and Abyss double-teamed Terry Taylor and ripped his shirt off!
- America's Most Wanted returned to the ring to make the save..
INTERVIEW: Scott Hudson & Michael Shane..
- Michael Shane said from now on, Shawn Michaels will be known as "the cousin of Michael Shane"!
IN THE RING: Jeremy Borash & Antonio Pena (AAA promoter) from Mexico..
- This was to signify the new working relationship between NWA:TNA and Mexico's AAA promotion..
X-TITLE MATCH: Michael Shane defeated Jerry Lynn to retain..
- Chris Sabin (w/Super X trophy) walked to ringside and joined Mike Tenay and Don West on commentary..
- Chris Sabin wanted to know why he, the Super X Tournament winner, was not #1 Contender!
- Chris Sabin said he would put his Super X Cup trophy up against the X Champion..
- Late in the match, Jerry Lynn got into a shoving match with Chris Sabin at ringside..
- Chris Sabin then knocked Jerry Lynn off balance, and Michael Shane superkicked him for a three count!
INTERVIEW: Scott Hudson & Shark Boy/Mad Mikey + DLo Brown + Don Callis..
- DLo Brown interrupted and said he'd be glad to interfere on their behalf when they wrestled Sonny Siaki & Ekmo later..
- Don Callis came out and said DLo Brown wasn't going to "go into business for himself"..
- Don Callis told DLo Brown to go have his match, then pack his bags and leave..
MATCH: Christopher Daniels defeated DLo Brown w/The Minions..
- Late in the match, Don Callis walked out to keep an eye on the match, along with red-shirt security..
- The red shirted security guards distracted DLo Brown, leading to Chris Daniels winning..
INTERVIEW: Scott Hudson & Erik Watts w/White Shirted Security + Don Callis..
- Erik Watts asked Don Callis to step up and pay the man's medical bills..
- Don Callis said he'll get right on that as soon as finishes installing the spa in the locker room (sarcasm)..
- Don Callis pointed out that Erik Watts booked the match between the two security teams last week, so he ought to pay..
SITDOWN INTERVIEW: Mike Tenay & Roddy Piper..
- Mike Tenay said both national wrestling companies, WWE and TNA, have both closed the doors on Roddy Piper..
- Mike Tenay asked Roddy if he would turn away from wrestling now and dedicate himself to TV and movies..
- Roddy Piper said he is wrestling and he can't become something else..
- Mike Tenay finished the interview with asking "Roddy Piper, any final words?"
- Suddenly we had technical difficulties and we couldn't hear what Roddy Piper had to say..
TAG MATCH: Sonny Siaki & Ekmo defeated Shark Boy & Mad Mikey..
- Ekmo splashed and pinned Shark Boy to win the match for his team..
- Ekmo & Sonny Siaki beat on Shark Boy after the match until DLo Brown ran down to make the save..
- Trinity attacked DLo Brown with a low blow from behind..
- Red shirt security jumped DLo Brown and handcuffed him to escort him out of the Asylum..
SITDOWN INTERVIEW: Mike Tenay & Simon Diamond, Johnny Swinger, Glen Gilbertti & David Young..
- Mike Tenay asked Johnny Swinger about his emergency appendectomy surgery..
- Johnny Swinger got an attitude and said Mike Tenay doesn't really care, but he'll be back in a week..
- David Young confirmed that he was a member of Glen Gilbertti's faction..
- Glen Gilbertti said that David Young was just a one week replacement..
- Glen Gilbertti said that David Young had to face Sandman to earn his place in his group..
INTERVIEW: Scott Hudson & Dusty Rhodes & Jeff Jarrett..
- Dusty talked about teaching AJ Styles a lesson tonight..
- Jeff Jarrett talked about taking care of business tonight and winning the NWA World Title in three weeks..
MATCH: Sandman defeated David Young..
- Sandman won after a top rope hurancanrana and a somersault splash onto David Young..
- Glen Gilbertti & Simon Diamond attacked Sandman, then walked to the ring and attacked David Young!
- 3 Live Krew (Konnan, BG James & Ron Killings) made the save..
BACKSTAGE: Vince Russo & Jeff Jarrett..
- Vince Russo was screaming at Jeff Jarrett..
- Vince Russo asked Jeff Jarrett to forget the past and take things into the future..
- Jeff Jarrett said he is going to wrap his guitar around Vince Russo's head!!
IN THE RING: James Mitchell & The New Church (Sinn/Slash/Vampiro/Shane Douglas)..
- James Mitchell said Raven is officially done and thanked Shane Douglas for giving him the chance to scalp him!
- James Micthell said it has been a pleasure doing business with him and he'd be glad to help him out in the future..
- James Mitchell then announced that it was time for he and Vampiro to move on to phase two..
6-MAN TAG MATCH: 3 Live Krew defeated Sinn/Slash/Vampiro by DQ..
- Shane Douglas joined Mike Tenay & Don West for commentary..
- Shane Douglas said after 20 years in the business, he is preparing to crown a New Franchise..
- Shane Douglas said there are some impressive wrestlers who deserve his mentorship..
- Vampiro used James Mitchell's cane on Ron Killings causing the Disqualification..
IN THE RING: Raven & James Mitchell & Vampiro..
- Raven ran down to th eirng and jumped Vampiro & James Mitchell..
- Raven took the chain off from around his neck and then wrapped it around James Mitchell's neck!
- Shane Douglas ran into the ring to save James Mitchell, but Raven beat him up, too!
- Raven knocked Shane Douglas out of the ring with a discuss clothesline..
- Raven said he will eliminate James Mitchell's men one at a time until it's just he and Mitchell left!
MAIN EVENT: Jeff Jarrett & Dusty Rhodes defeated AJ Styles & Vince Russo..
- Trinity dove at Jeff Jarrett off the top rope, but Jarrett caught her and powerbombed her!
- AJ Styles swung a bat at Jeff Jarrett, but Jarrett blocked it and then hit Vince Russo with it!
- Jeff Jarrett gave AJ Styles the Stroke off the top rope..
- Dusty Rhodes gave AJ Styles an elbow drop and spanked AJ Styles before pinning him for the win!
CONCLUSION: AJ Styles + Dusty Rhodes & Jeff Jarrett..
- AJ Styles threw a fit, and said nobody gets away with embarrassing him like that!
- AJ Styles challenged Dusty Rhodes to a 1-on-1 match..
- Vince Russo recommended that AJ Styles not do it, but AJ Styles slapped Russo!
- Dusty Rhodes said he wanted the match to be a title match -- AJ Styles agreed!
- Jeff Jarrett got in Dusty Rhodes's face and confronted him over getting a title match before he got his chance..
- Dusty Rhodes and Jeff Jarrett got in eachothers faces as security pulled them apart..
