  3. US TITLE MATCH: John Cena vs Rene Dupree..
    • John Cena says that his New Year's Resolution is to "change the game" and to "start a revolution"..
    • John Cena says that from now on his fans will be forever known as the Chain Gang..
    • John Cena left thing ring and walked into the crowd and hugged a bunch of them and gave away his jersey..
    • John Cena then defeated Rene Dupree to retain the United States title..

  4. BACKSTAGE: John Bradshaw Layfield & Amy Webber + Joy Giovanni..
    • Amy Webber makes fun of Joy Giovanni for eating too much over the Holidays and gaining so much weight..
    • Joy Giovanni shot back saying Amy Webber must have eaten turkey cause her chin looks like a gizzard..
    • John Layfield cut her off and told her to never talk to his Image Consultant like that again!
    • The Big Show came to Joy's rescue and challenged JBL to pick him to defend the WWE title against!

  5. KURT ANGLE INVITATIONAL: Kurt Angle vs Matt Stryker (from Ring of Honor)..
    • Before the match, Kurt Angle made his case for JBL to choose him to defend the WWE title against tonight..
    • Kurt Angle made Matt Styker (who isn't really from Louisiana) tap out to the Anklelock Submission..

  6. BACKSTAGE: Rey Mysterio & Rob Van Dam + Booker T & Eddie Guerrero..
    • Rey & RVD discuss the tag team division and who deserves the tag team title shot tonight..
    • Booker T & Eddie Guerrero come in and request that they give them the tag title shot..
    • Rey & RVD says that they'll think about it..

  7. BACKSTAGE: Daniel Puder & Smackdown! Wrestlers + Hardcore Holly..
    • Tough Enough Champion Daniel Puder enters the SD! Lockerroom and is greeted by several wrestlers..
    • Hardcore Holly shows up and bullies Daniel Puder for thinking he belongs in this locker room..
    • Hardcore Holly says the guys in this locker room trained longer than 8 weeks to earn their spot..
    • Daniel Puder says Hardcore Holly has never main evented Wrestlemania, then predicts he'll win the Royal Rumble..

  8. BACKSTAGE: Theodore Long & John Bradshaw Layfield (with his Cabinet)..
    • JBL says he'll proove that he's the greatest WWE champion by picking his challenger tonight randomly..
    • JBL picks a name out and tries to put it back, but Theodore Long orders him to face that wrestler!

  9. WWE TITLE MATCH: John Bradshaw Layfield vs Shannon Moore..
    • JBL gave the piece of paper to the ring announcer, who announces Shannon Moore!
    • JBL won the match in less than a minute, followed by Theodore Long coming down to the ring!

  10. IN THE RING: JBL & Theodore Long & Amy Webber & Joy Giovanni & Orlando Jordan + Kurt Angle + The Big Show..
    • Theodore Long ordered to see the bowl full of names, and Amy Webber tried to run away with the bowl..
    • Joy Giovanni ran down and tackled Amy Webber to stop her from escaping..
    • Theodore Long revealed that all the names in the bowl read "Shannon Moore"..
    • Theodore Long then booked JBL in a WWE title match against Kurt Angle at Royal Rumble!
    • Kurt Angle says SD! needs a roll model for a champion, who will not deceive the public, like HIM!
    • Theodore Long then adds that it will be a triple threat match including the Big Show!

  11. INTERVIEW: Josh Mathews & Carlito Caribbean Cool..
    • Corlito Cool says his New Year's Resolution is to get Theodore Long removed as General Manager..

  12. IN THE RING: John Heidenreich + The Undertaker..
    • John Heidenreich says he isn't afraid of the Undertaker and brags about costing Taker the WWE title twice!
    • John Heidenreich says he spared Undertaker last week, but Royal Rumble will be his final resting place!
    • John Heidenreich says he fears no man --- living or dead!
    • The Undertaker comes on the big screen and says that John Heidenreich will REST IN PEACE at the Royal Rumble..
    • A crew of minions drags a casket out to the ring whick causes Heidenreich to freak out in the ring..
    • John Heidenreich cautiously puts his hand on the casket, on to have it open and Undertaker pop up from inside!

  13. INTERVIEW: Josh Mathews & Luther Reigns & Mark Jindrak..
    • Luther Reigns says that Rey & RVD will choose them because they respect competition..
    • The Basham Brothers show up and then Booker & Eddie show up and they all argue about who is better..

  14. CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Sho Funaki vs Spike Dudley..
    • Funaki pinned Spike Dudley to "proove" that his title victory at Armageddon was not a fluke..

  15. BACKSTAGE: SD! Sluts + John Cena..
    • Three of Smackdown!'s models approach John Cena if they can 1) See it, 2) Touch it, 3) Play with it..
    • They then crouch down and spin John Cena's new turn-table United States championship belt..

  16. INTERVIEW: Josh Mathews & Rey Mysterio & Rob Van Dam..
    • Rob Van Dam jokes that they've decided to give Dawn Marie and Torrie Wilson the title shot..
    • Rey Mysterio says that they've actually decided to give Booker T & Eddie Guerrero the shot..

  17. TAG TITLE MATCH: Rey Mysterio & Rob Van Dam vs Booker T & Eddie Guerrero..
    • Rey Mysterio & Rob Van Dam win this long incredible match to retain their tag team titles..
