DARK MATCHES: Kanyon beat Rene Dupree with the Flatliner.. Val Venis & Nova beat Shelton Benjamin & Lance Cade.. VELOCITY TAPING: Chuck Palumbo beat Crash Holly.. Jamie Noble cut a promo on Kidman.. D-Von beat Funaki.. Albert squashed Shannon Moore with a Baldo Bomb.. SMACKDOWN! KICK OFF: Paul Heyman & Big Show.. Heyman said Brock wasn't showing up tonight because of being thrown off the stage last week.. Big Show told him he'd be calling him out in case he showed up.. MATCH: Edge vs Chavo Guerrero.. Edge wins after the Edgecution.. INTEVIEW: Mark Loyd & Rey Mysterio + Brock Lesnar.. Rey said he was happy to be a tag champion with Edge.. Rey cut a promo on Eddie Guerrero.. Brock Lesnar arrived and interrupted the interview.. Brock and Rey exchanged pleasantries, and that ended the segment.. BACKSTAGEL Dawn Marie & Al Wilson.. Al was reading a wedding magazine, and they started professing their love for each other.. Dawn suggested inviting Torrie to the wedding and even gave Al an invitation to give to Torrie.. Al was reluctant at first, but agreed to talk to Torrie about it.. BACKSTAGE: Paul Heyman & Brock Lesnar.. Paul was upset that Lesnar showed up tonight and was also upset that Brock won't listen to him.. Paul told him that he has an idea how to get them out of the predicament they are in.. TAG MATCH: Matt Hardy & John Cena defeated Tajiri & Rikishi.. BACKSTAGE: Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit.. They each blamed the other for losing the tag titles.. They decided to settle in the ring who is the better wrestler.. BACKSTAGE: Paul Heyman & Big Show.. Paul Heyman goes to Big Show's locker room and asks him to back off until the Survivor Series.. Big Show says he'll think about it.. MATCH: Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio.. Rey Mysterio tapped out to the El Passo Lasso with Guerrero's hand on the rope.. BACKSTAGE: Torrie & Al Wilson.. Torrie says she doesn't want to go to the wedding and tells Al that he is being played.. Torrie says "there's no fool like an old fool" and walks out on her Dad.. NON TITLE MATCH: Billy Kidman defeated Jamie Noble.. BACKSTAGE: Brock Lesnar & Paul Heyman.. Heyman tells Brock to pack his bags, that they are going home.. Brock declines, saying he is going to call the Big Show out.. MATCH: Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit.. Angle invited Rey/Edge & Guerreros to sit at ringside so they could "scout" him.. Edge/Rey Mysterio started brawling with Los Guerreros.. Benoit threw Angle onto Edge & Rey, who were sitting in chairs outside the ring.. All hree teams started brawling like crazy at the end of the match.. Angle had an ankle lock on Eddie , while simultaneously Benoit had the crossface on Edge.. Angle and Benoit were about to go at it, when Angle convinced Benoit to shake his hand.. Angle tried to get a hug, but Benoit would have none of it.. IN THE RING: Brock Lesnar & Big Show.. Brock calls out the Big Show.. Big Show comes out and the two men brawl at ringside.. Brock gets a chair from under the ring and absolutely wallops Show in the face about 3 times! Big Show juiced a major league gusher.. Big Show's arm was also bleeding from being thrown into the ringsteps.. Brock posed with the belt at the top of the ramp.. Smackdown! goes OFF THE AIR....
