KICKOFF: Kurt Angle + Edge. Kurt Angle expresses his displeasure with Vince making Hulk Hogan the #1 Contender.. Kurt says he beat Russians that are a lot tougher than Nikolai Volkoff & IronSheik.. Kurt says he's going to proove that he's better than Hogan tonight.. Kurt says that he'll beat Triple H in a non-title match.. Kurt gets mad at the crowd for chanting "WHAT?" Kurt tells the crowd to chant "IT'S TRUE" after everything he says.. Suddenly Edge's music hits and Edge comes to the stage.. Edge challenges Kurt to a match at Backlash.. Edge tells the crowd to chant "You Suck!" after everything Kurt says.. BACKSTAGE: Chris Jericho & Kurt Angle. Jericho tells Kurt Angle that he will beat the living hell out of Edge tonight.. Kurt says there's nothing he hates more than a.. Loud mouthed canadian with long blonde hair and dresses like a rock star.. Jericho looks confused.. Kurt clarifies "Except you, you're cool!".. Kurt & Chris agree to watch eachothers backs tonight.. MATCH: Tajiri w/Torrie vs The Hurricane. Tajiri makes Torrie wear a japanese keisha outfit.. Torrie cheers for Tajiri throughout the match.. Tajiri wins after several vicious kicks to the head.. After the match Tajiri yells at Torrie.. Kidman runs down and hits a missile dropkick on Tajiri.. BACKSTAGE: Stacy Keibler. Stacy goes into Vince McMahon's office looking for Vince.. Stacy lays down on the couch and waits for him.. MATCH: Albert vs Scotty Too Hotty. Albert takes it to S2H right away.. S2H fights back and sets up for the W.O.R.M... but Albert gets up and kicks Scotty in the face.. Albert pins Scotty for the win.. After the match, Albert beats up S2H some more.. Rikishi runs down and saves Scotty 2 Hotty.. Albert tries to sneak up on Rikishi.. Rikishi knocks ALbert out of the ring.. BACKSTAGE: Stacy & Vince McMahon. Vince walks into his office and finds Stacy.. Stacy asks Vince if he's though about her offer (To be his assistant).. Vince says that he's going to interview the candidates in the ring tonight.. Stacy says that she will "apply" and she will give Vince an offer he CANT refuse.. BACKSTAGE: Billy/Chuck/Rico & Maven/Al Snow. Rico makes fun of Maven's appearance.. Al Snow steps in.. The men nearly come to blows.. INTERVIEW: Sharmelle & Hollywood Hulk Hogan. Hogan says only wants ONE MORE TIME to prove that Hulkamania conquer all.. Hogan gives HHH his due.. Hogan says that HHH came back from a career ending injury.. Hogan says that he beat Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania.. Suddenly, Chris Jericho enters.. Y2J says that Hogan really has nothing to lose.. Y2J says that HHH has EVERYTHING to lose.. Y2J informs Hogan that this makes HHH a dangerous man.. MATCH: Chris Jericho vs Edge. Hard-fought match.. Kurt Angle ends up running in bed Edge spears him! Jericho hits Edge with a bulldog.. Edge counters the lionsault! Edge covers but Jericho kicks out.. Edge slingshots Jericho into the referee, knocking him out.. Edge locks the Edgicator on Jericho.. Jericho taps out but the ref doesn't see.. Jericho fights back.. Jericho brings a chair into the ring.. Edge spears Jericho! Angle suckerpunches Edge from the outside! Jericho rolls up Edge and pulls the tights to defeat Edge! After the match, Edge & Kurt Angle brawl backstage.. Jericho joins in.. Angle puts the Angleslam on Edge.. Hogan enters and chases off Y2J & Angle.. IN THE RING: Vince McMahon. Vince says that he will interview several candidates to be his assistant.. Vince asks for candidate number ONE. A stuffy nerdy older woman struts down and enters the ring.. NOPE! Vince asks for candidate number TWO. A young nerdy fruitcake comes to the ring.. GET OUT! Vince asks for candidate number THREE. A cute blonde business type female comes down and Vince is slightly interested.. Vince questions the woman.. Vince isn't sure..... Vince asks for candidate number FOUR.. Stacy Keibler! Stacy tells the other woman to take a hike.. Stacy tells Vince she will show him her qualifications.. Stacy gets up on the table and dances for Vince... Vince is so excited that he falls backwards out of his chair! Vince tells Stacy "You're Hired!" BACKSTAGE: Vince McMahon & DVon Dudley. DVon enters Vince's office.. DVon is dressed in a suit.. DVon tells Vince that he felt "the man".. DVon said that "the man" told him to save the sinners out there.. DVon says he needs a benefactor to provide his way.. Vince says that he's a very rich and powerful man.. Vince says it would be an honor to help DVon help the sinners of the world.. Vince tells DVon that he has a deal.. PARKING LOT: Mark Henry & WWF Superstars. WWF Superstars are betting on a Mark Henry test of strenth.. Mark Henry says he can hold back a limo with his legs for 30 seconds.. With Test behind the wheel, Mark completes the 30 task.. However Test doesn't let up on the gas for an extra 5 seconds.. The WWF Superstars get mad at Test.. NON-TITLE MATCH: Billy & Chuck w/Rico vs Maven & Al Snow. Rico keeps interfering.. Maven chases Rico away from the ring.. Al Snow is left with Billy & Chuck.. Maven returns and the two manage to defeat the tag team champions! BACKSTAGE: Hollywood Hogan & Triple H. Hogan tells Triple H that he's got his back tonight if he wants it.. Triple H tells Hogan that he's going to fight Hogan at Backlash.. Triple H says that it won't be a 'battle of the egos' like Rock vs Hogan.. Triple H tells Hogan that next time Hogan barges into his lockeroom... Heel take that has an 'act of agression' and handle it.. Triple H says that he doesn't need Hogan to watch his back.. Triple H says he's the top dog in this dog-eat-dog world.. Hogan tells Triple H that he's played "the Game" longer than anybody.. NON-TITLE MATCH: Triple H vs Kurt Angle. Late in the match, HHH pulls down Angle's tights exposing his THONG! A little later.. Jericho runs down and pulls the referee out of the ring.. Jericho attacks Triple H.. Angle covers Triple H.. 1...... 2.......... KICK OUT! Jericho & Angle doubleteam Triple H! Suddenly Hulk Hogan jogs down and beats up Jericho & Angle.. Triple H gets up and pedigrees Kurt Angle.. Triple H wins the match! Triple H isn't happy that Hulk Hogan helped him out.. Triple H tells Hogan to stay out of his business until Backlash.. Hogan says that until Backlass.. HHH IS his business.. Hogan turns to walk away.. Kurt Angle sneaks up behind HHH and pushes him into Hogan.. Hogan gets up and attacks HHH.. Hogan hits the leg drop on HHH.. Jericho & Angle roll in and take out Hogan! Jericho & Angle taught the crowd.. Jericho gets his hands on the Title Belt as Smackdown! goes off the air.. Smackdown! goes OFF THE AIR....
