    • Shawn Michaels said he wants another shot at the WWE title tonight and John Cena accepted the challenge..

    • Santino Marella is from Italy, moved to the USA, and was visiting family in Italy when he won the IC title on RAW..
    • Santino Marella said his family was so proud of him and said next week on RAW will be his first title defense..

  5. WWE.COM PROMO: Rob Van Dam gave his thoughts on Vince McMahon winning the ECW World title at Backlash..

  6. BACKSTAGE: Vince McMahon & Shane McMahon..
    • Shane McMahon asked if he could hold the ECW belt and Vince McMahon grumbled and said "maybe later okay"..
    • Vince McMahon expressed his anger towards Rob Van Dam and then thanked his son Shane McMahon for his help..
    • Shane McMahon hugged his daddy and said "I love you" so Vince let him hold he ECW title for a few minutes..

  7. INTERVIEW: Maria Kanellis & Edge..
    • Edge said he was angry because Shawn Michaels has been granted yet another title match (uhhh not exactly, Edge)..
    • Edge said that he would get himself back in the title picture -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- get it? got it? Good!

  8. MATCH: Jeff Hardy defeated Johnny Nitro..
    • Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch (on commentary) said they respect the Hardyz and they won fair-and-square at Backlash..
    • After the match: Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch announced Jeff Hardy as the winner and applauded him for the victory..
    • Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch said they respect Jeff Hardy and wanted to get in the ring and shake his hand..
    • Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch extended their hand to Jeff Hardy, who bailed out of the ring and backed off..

  9. MATCH: Umaga w/Shane McMahon defeated Rob Van Dam..

  10. BACKSTAGE: Carlito Cool & Torrie Wilson + Ric Flair..
    • Carlito Cool apologized for yelling at Ric Flair in spanish last week and said he got them a match tonight..
    • Ric Flair said that Carlito Cool had what it takes to be a champion but he only has one more chance to prove it..

  11. BACKSTAGE: As Shawn Michaels was being introduced cameras found him knocked out and bloody backstage!
    • Jonathan Coachman accused John Cena of attacking Shawn Michaels but Cena grabbed him and shoved him against the wall..
    • Vince McMahon showed up asking what happened and said it didn't matter Shawn Michaels was going to the ring tonight!

  12. TAG MATCH: Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas defeated Ric Flair & Carlito Cool w/Torrie Wilson by Countout..
    • Carlito Cool turned heel on Ric Flair --- if you didn't see that coming then you need your brain examined..

  13. BACKSTAGE: The trainer was tending to an unconscious Edge and Jonathan Coachman began to suspect Randy Orton..

  14. IN THE RING: "Mr. Money in the Bank" Mr. Kennedy...
    • Mr. Kennedy said he wasn't the one who took out Shawn Michaels and Edge because doesn't have to do stuff like that..
    • Mr. Kennedy teased that he was going to cash in the briefcase tonight and got the Nashville fans cherring loudly..
    • Mr. Kennedy then announced that he would wait until WrestleMania 24 to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase..

  15. BACKSTAGE: Jonathan Coachman found Randy Orton knocked out cold backstage and ran to find Vince McMahon..
    • Jonathan Coachman ran into Vince McMahon's office and told him somebody took out Shawn Michaels, Edge & Randy Orton..
    • Vince McMahon said he knows who did it and told Coach to go to the ring and he will go face to face with who did it..

  16. DIVAS TAG MATCH: Mickie James & Candice Michelle defeated Melina Perez & Victoria....
    • Candice Michelle performed a picture perfect running tilt-a-whirl headscissors and pinned Victoria..
