- Val Venis defeated Steven Richards;
- Maven defeated Joey Matthews;
- Shelton Benjamin defeated Garrison Cade (Shelton Benjamin broke his hand when a stray punch hit Cade's knee brace);
- Tajiri defeated A-Train (this was a dark match done live during an extended preview of Joe Schmo Show)..
BACKSTAGE: Eric Bischoff & Kane..
- Eric Bischoff compliments Kane on having a tremendous match with Chris Benoit at Bad Blood..
- Eric Bischoff says that has to name a new #1 Contender..
- Kane backs Eric Bischoff into the wall with anger but eventually accepts Bischoff's decision..
- Kane then starts destroying Bischoff's office, throwing furnature around and breaking a television!
IN THE RING: Jim Ross + Shawn Michaels + Triple H + Eric Bischoff + Kane..
- Jim Ross talks about the brutal Hell in a Cell match and says HBK & HHH will not be competing tonight..
- Jim Ross calls out Shawn Michaels & Triple H to show appreciation for putting on a great match..
- Shawn Michaels & Triple H both come out separately with bandages and walking very tenderly to the ring..
- Jim Ross proclaimes that last night's Hell in a Cell will live for Generations to come..
- Jim Ross looks at Triple H and says that it's time for this (feud) to end, and asks for HHH & HBK to shake hands..
- There was a lenthy staredown before Shawn Michaels slowly extended his hand, and Triple H thought it over..
- Eric Bischoff came out to the ring and aggressively interrupts with an announcement of #1 Contender..
- Kane's pyro hit and Kane also made his way to the ring and stared at both HHH & HBK..
- Kane knocked Shawn Michaels down, and then Triple H backed off and offered up HBK as a sacrifice..
- Kane went after Shawn Michaels and wrapped a folding chair around Shawn Michaels' head and stomped on it!
- Shawn Michaels' mouth immediately spurted blood -- which looked horrifyingly realistic..
- Paramedics and referees raced to the ring to help Shawn Michaels as Kane backed his way up the ramp smiling..
- Editor's Note: Their doing the old "crushed larynx" deal reminisant of Ricky Steamboat/Jake Roberts in 1986..
MIXED TAG MATCH: Tyson Tomko & Trish Stratus (Women's champion) vs Matt Hardy & Lita..
- Lita pinned Trish Stratus (damn, when will they learn to make their champions look strong?)
BACKSTAGE: Eric Bischoff & Triple H..
- Triple H sarcastically says that he's genuinely concerned for Shawn Michaels' health..
- Triple H says that since he won the Hell in a Cell match that means that he is the #1 Contender..
- Eric Bischoff says that if Triple H can beat the undefeated Eugene next week he will be #1 Contender..
FLAG MATCH: La Resistance vs The Super Heros (The Hurricane & Rosey)..
- La Resistance won and thus had their flag risen and the Canadian National Anthem sung!
BACKSTAGE: Lita goes into the bathroom to take a pregnancy test..
HIGHLIGHT REEL: Chris Jericho & Eugene Dinsmore & William Regal + Evolution..
- Chris Jericho says that both her and Eugene won last night, and both of them are Sexy Beasts!
- Chris Jericho says another thing they have in common is that they are huge wrestling fans..
- Chris Jericho asks Eugene what his favorite Y2J-moment was..
- Eugene remembers when Jericho peed in William Regal's tea, then admits that he did it to him last week!
- Chris Jericho tells Eugene that he has been booked in a match with his favorite wrestler next week -- Triple H..
- Chris Jericho tries to tell Eugene that Eric Bischoff just wants Triple H to end his career forever..
- Triple H (along with Batista, Randy Orton & Ric Flair) made his way down to the ring..
- Eugene is extremely excited to meet his favorite wrestler, Triple H, who shakes hands with Eugene..
- Triple H says that Chris Jericho is a liar, saying that he actually IS the "biggest friend"..
- Triple H gives Eugene a present, which he opens and finds a HHH hat, T-shirt, and an autographed photo..
- Eugene takes it out and puts it on over his jacket, making him look bigger than Triple H (hah)..
- Eugene gives Triple H a hug..
- Triple H says he wants to take a picture with Eugene, and gets a camera man to snap a photo of them together..
- Triple H tells Eugene that when people are jealous then they start telling lies, such as Chris Jericho..
- Triple H asks Eugene to come and tell him if anybody says anything bad about him so he can deal with it..
- Triple H says that their match next week is going to be the greatest match of all time!
- Triple H sends Eugene & William Regal on their way and then confronts Chris Jericho..
- Triple H says that Jericho will be in a 6-Man Elimination later on and he'll "get what's coming to him"..
BACKSTAGE: Stacy Keibler & Lita..
- Lita confides in Stacy Keibler that she took a pregnancy test and that it came out positive..
- Stacy Keibler gets so excited that she and Matt Hardy are going to have a baby and asks if they're going to get married..
- Lita avoids the questions and just asks that Stacy promise she won't tell anybody..
DIVAS TAG MATCH: Stacy Keibler & Nidia vs Molly Holly & Gail Kim..
- Stacy Keibler took a serious beating and got stretched out by both Gail Kim & Molly Holly..
- Gail Kim made Stacy Keibler tap out to a freak-looking pretzel leg-lock submission..
ELIMINATION MATCH: Batista & Randy Orton & Ric Flair w/Triple H vs Chris Jericho & Edge & Chris Benoit.
- The match went a really long time without an initial elimination..
- Edge hit Batista with a spear, Benoit nailed a flying headbutt, and Jericho hit a Lionsault to eliminate Batista!
- Chris Jericho was eliminated next..
- Edge was eliminated next..
- Ric Flair tapped out to the Crippler Crossface..
- Randy Orton tapped out to the Sharpshooter making Chris Benoit the sole Survivor..
- The show went 25 minutes over the regularly scheduled time slot!
