I was there, I was one of the commentators during the match, and I’ve worked with the UWC for 5 years. Brian was booked to LOSE the match – the plan was to have Danny Doring win the title from the champion, Pumper, without Pumper getting pinned or submitting. Sexay threw a fit, beat up the referee, threw the ref LITERALLY out of the building, took my mic, said “you jabronies can wrestle for the title, I don’t want it.” and left the match. Doring and Pumper did a GREAT job improvising an effective finish (foot over the ropes which the ref didn’t catch and it cost Pumper his title). I’m not sure Brian even hurt his elbow, I think he was pissed he was booked to lose to Danny Doring.
