  • Koko Ware portrayed the characters “Sweet Brown Sugar” and “Stagger Lee” at different times.
  • April 5, 1982 – Memphis: Bobby Eaton and Sweet Brown Sugar (Koko Ware) beat Robert Gibson and Steve Keirn.
  • Late 1983: Koko Ware (under a mask as Stagger Lee) teamed with Norvel Austin as BABYFACES in a Tag Team Tournament.
  • ~~~During a match against The New Fabulous Ones (Tommy Rich and Eddie Gilbert), Lee’s mask accidentall came off.
  • ~~~This is when Koko Ware and Norvell Austin became a heel tag team.
